Children loves surprises and they get very happy when you make a celebration of something simple, especially in the middle of the week. Generally, all parents are quite caught up with house chores and hectic work during the weekdays and children are busy with school and extra-curricular works.
There is rarely any time to pause and have something interesting to do. So, Children’s Day can create the great opportunity to make your little children feel warmness.

10. Create a Treasure Hunt game on Children’s Day.

A treasure hunt is the interesting game for your children and even the whole family to participate in.

A day before the event, keep the gift in a hiding position and make out clues to find the treasure.

It is important to understand that when a person suffering from dyslexia “sees” letters or words reversed or mixed up, there is usually nothing bad with his eyes. The challenge is in the way the mind converts what the eyes see — like an optical illusion, except this mismatch between what illusion and reality happens with simple print on a page.

It is possible for a dyslexic person to be able to meditate or read very well, but find it extremely hard or impossible to write or spell. Sometimes the writing disorder is referred as ‘dysgraphia’ instead of ‘dyslexia’ – but we find that often these signs comes from the same causes as dyslexia.

In a recent interview with Rogue Magazine, Jace opened up about his challenges with dyslexia and how it has affected him as an actor.

Jace revealed, “I think people look at it like a major set back, when it comes to school but as I’ve got into entrepreneurship and got into business a lot of these famous people I talk to like Kevin O'Leary and all these great entrepreneurs they have dyslexia as well. So, it’s like I’ve learnt it can be a great advantage if schools were to improve it.”

When it comes to his young fans also dealing with the same problem, the actor admitted that he does not want it to get them depressed.

Jace included, “I want them to know that they’re not stupid and there is another way, so keep pushing. I see all these success stories like Steve Jobs and all these crazy successful people who are dyslexic, so there are two sides to the coin.”

10 important advise to students seeking for admission in any Nigeria university


Jamb has released the results of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME. Our wonderful children have done their upmost best. Now, with the UTME results, it will be right to say that they have handed the baton over to us, the parents, as they shift their attention away to prepare for their WAEC and NECO examinations.

I am writing this short article on what parents need to do with the jamb results in their hands in order to make sure their children are admitted into our universities or any other tertiary institutions without much stress.

The interest to write this advice, however was inspired by a terrible experience last year.

So parents and guardians, my first advise is take the admission of your children with serious attention. Don’t leave it to luck or to Nigerian systems.

It is a vital battle and please let us fight it for our children who have read so diligently, who grew thin as a result of hard work and who are yet to know the capacity to survive the challenges for survival in Nigeria.

I will be very brief, giving just the important things to do.


1. Check the JAMB result.
Request from your child for his jamb result. See what he or she got in the result, If he has anything 180 and above, looking on a number of factors, he might be able to get admission into a university, but even with fairly lower marks, he can gain admission into other kinds of tertiary institutions like polytechnic.



2. Scale your options
Weigh your options, if for any reason be a more informed person. If your child has high marks like 240 and above, your struggles may not be much, but it depends on the course he applied for and the university that was chosen.



3a. Change of course or institution
If the marks are low or not impressive, you may, depending on on the assessment of chances, even need to do a change of course or institution that was applied for, or even the both.

Maybe perhaps, if your child was over ambitious in his decision, because children usually fill the forms while they are at school without recommendations from their parents, you now increase his chances of getting admission by buying a form at the nearest JAMB office or make the important changes online.

Enoch Adeboye is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Although he was not the founder of the church set placed in 1952, he has been an active contributor to its massive growth. Presently, the church has parishes in about 186 countries of the world.

Enoch Adeboye was given birth to on 2nd March 1942 in the town of Ifewara, Osun State, Nigeria. His parents were very poor and he was part of their four children. Adeboye’s father was a peasant farmer, who did not trust in educating any of his children. In fact, the family was living in abstract poverty that they could not get to pay the school dues anyway.

But Enoch was so inspired about receiving a sound education and when his requests to be sent to school were disregarded by his father, he went on a hunger-strike in a bid to change his mind. His father finally gave in and marketed a goat in order to pay for his son’s school dues. Thus Enoch Adeboye was admitted at the only missionary school in their village.

After his primary school education, young Enoch was enrolled into Ilesha Grammar School, Ilesha, Osun State, Nigeria in 1956, where he found out his passion for science and mathematics.

Enoch Adeboye seriously wanted to pursue a higher education but the ongoing Nigerian Civil War and his family’s dire financial state posed a threat to crush his ambitions. Yet he chased his dream without giving up and ultimately gotten not only a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from the University of Nigeria, but also a Masters Degree in Hydrodynamics and a Doctorate Degree in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Lagos, in 1969 and 1975 respectively.

As a youthful man, Pastor Adeboye had one great dream which is to become the youngest Vice-Chancellor of any one of the famous Universities in Nigeria. So he started his career as a lecturer in mathematics at the Universities of Lagos and Ilorin and looked strong to establish himself in a successful work in academics.

Already married by the early 1970s, Pastor Adeboye and his wife had some challenges having children. The wife had two children through cesarean section and the doctors had warned them against having more. But the couple seriously wanted more children and thus began on a spiritual journey to find an answer.
