Please what could make a Caucasian stop eating much, this happened today although i dealt with him for entering the bush behind my compound lastnight so he wouldn't eat any rubbish liter on the floor, but by the time i woke up to see him today, he has already vomited the food he ate overnight with some grass particles on another side.so i felt he managed to eat some grass before i got to him lastnight in the bush.
After that, I noticed he was lying down and didn't play much the way he use to do, so i took hiim for a walk, fed him a canned food which he ate and i bath him as well. He is still laying down without playing much.

the grass he ate is probably what is causing the vomiting, it happens to my dog too when he eats grass.
he is probably not playing much because of the stomach upset, give him some time to flush it out of his system and he'll recover

I don't get why people keep saying pure bred gsds are hard to find.
when they want to spend 25k-50k on a gsd how do they expect to get a purebred one?
I see pure bred gsds a lot and I know kennels that sell them.
people will rather spend 35k on gsd and come and say "to see pure bred gsd in Nigeria is hard" online.

the truth is that if you are ready to spend money to get it you'll see a lot of sellers.
i feel if you're spending less than 100k on a dog then you shouldn't be complaining about pure bred or not.
every popular breed has pure bred bloodlines in Nigeria but people aren't ready to spend to get them

don't just free the dog around the chickens immediately.
allow him to watch them from afar until he gets used to it, when the dog has been desensitized to the chickens then you can allow the dog sniff them but correct any rough behavior you notice.
with time, the dog will start leaving the chickens alone freely.
but you have to be very sure before you let the dog roam unsupervised around them

It's not their fault sir... Many breeders now breed for size instead of comformity. Many caucs get tired easily, some are just too docile, that even a goat can scare them.. "Breeders" over here have messed up their biology.
We have many Caucs with the "container" of a cauc, but the content is far from a cauc... No strength, no stamina. Some of them can't even assume Aaron's position in the pix below

dogs like that exist in every breed.
there are pitbulls that are so badly bred for appearance that the only thing you can use them for is to take pictures
their are mastiffs that can barely breath again because of this whole "box head' craze
their are gsds that can barely walk let alone run or work because of the " slant back" craze.

I believe if you want to talk about a breed you should talk about the best representation of the breed and not mistakes due to bad breeding.
every other breed is referred to with very good specimens of the breed so why does it have to be different with this one?

I guess that's one of normal size of martyred Chinese Tebitan Mastiff. They are the most expensive dog breed in the world, a senator in Nigeria have one

the dog in this picture too isn't as big as that, it's just camera effect.
no breed of dog grows that big.

Today, I stumbled On a tape and I did some measurements

Bailey will be 7months by 10th of May
Height - 61cm
Length(tail to nose) -128cm

Rex will be 10months tomorrow(there was a correction to his age, I spoke to the breeder)

Height - 73cm
Length(tail to nose) - 138cm

So I don’t think Rex might grow taller but hopefully he should

Rex will still grow a couple inches taller and he'll add more weight

Also watched that video on instagram, some people said the Pitbull was still young and don't have experience and some people also said that was a Tibetan mastiff and not caucasian. That was what they said.

exactly, they are two different classes of dogs. they never put them together during fog fights because it's not fair. they put Pitts with small dogs or dogs their size

sorry to bring back this convo but I just found the complete video of this fight
the fight actually Lasted for 1:55 seconds and the bigger dog was even taking the pitbull's body away when it was done with it so they had to follow them and drag the pitbull's half dead body away

I came out in the morning around 7am to discover that it rained heavily till morning and Roscoe was outside in the rain.
