From the read, one thing I read from some people commenting is not giving your dog Cooked bones and salt.

Hmmm, maybe I have been doing a wrong thing. Please enlighten me.

I have a boerboel, pix will be attached, his name is Athens, 7 months. I feed him Diamond puppy, left over rice from eatery (obviously salted) can food mix with noodles, milk and raw egg sometimes, and he specifically enjoys crushing and swallowing the bones since he was 4months.

What's your opinion??

Chained him because he broke the door to the cage...destroyed the wire mesh that wasn't properly done.

But he is friendly...i feel he is too friend and plays a lot sometimes sef

you can actually feed your dog cooked bones but you have to be smart about it.
don't feed cooked chicken bones because they can splinter and hurt your pup.
also when feeding cooked bones, make sire it's easily breakable bones you feed your dog.
my method is that any bone I cannot chew and eat by myself I cannot feed it to my dog.
only feed soft bones if you must feed bones.
and excess salt is bad for dogs, I suggest you cut out the eatery waste.
his diet is so good without it and I feel it's better

I think Hulk is an American Bully and not an American Pitbull terrier, he may have been enhanced, but he conforms

hulk is a bully yes and he's called a pitbull but that doesn't mean he conforms.
hulk is like the most popular pitbull in the world yet do you see him win any shows? do you see him in any article as an example of pitbull? think about it.
he's not recognized anywhere as a dog with honours except his YouTube channel and on Instagram.
he's enhanced and mixed which is why you cannot find lots of kennels with dogs like that.
using him as an example of pitbull is just ridiculous
do you know yushu? he's the world's biggest Tibetan mastiff and he weighs 250lbs while hulk weighs 170lbs. so imagine how massive yushu is, yet yushu isn't posted anywhere as an example of Tibetan mastiffs, he also doesn't go for appraisal or dog shows too same with hulk and Wendy(the worlds largest whippet).
vastelin( one of the biggest Caucasian shepherds) was almost treated like that too but he was given a pass and you can find him on a few websites(although never on something official like akc or Wikipedia).
he was given a pass because the difference wasn't drastic and fake compared to other Caucasians unlike hulk, yushu and Wendy.

I'll never understand why hulk gets a pass as being referred to as pitbull much less an example of what a pitbull should look like..

I have to groom Roscoe this evening too
the trick is that if you give the dog a comb down every week, grooming becomes so much easier.
letting it tangle for months before deciding to groom makes it very stressful

Good afternoon iamanderson, please which comb do you use on Roscoe’s fur? Rex fur is so much the comb I have isn’t reaching the root anymore

you need to do a full thorough grooming, he has reached the age where he'll be shedding heavily.
bathe him to moisten his fur then when he's almost dry, use your hand to untangle any matted patch of fur you see, also pluck off any detached fur you see.
when you're done, come him thoroughly, a lot of fur is probably going to come off but don't worry, they were already detached.
make sure you move the comb in opposite directions when combing, if you do it like this the comb will reach the root and remove the detached fur.
here's the come I use, just a regular human comb

just go to a vet shop, you'll see many good brands.
I personally like vitapet,vetzyme and canine tab

I went shopping for Lucy and summer today......mehn the road was blocked to even get bike sef hard but I had to go the extra mile cos of them and I got what I wanted...

how much was the royal canine?

the person I bought her from was feeding her royal canine but what I have at home is optimax so I feed her the optimax for now after it finish I'll go get royal canine. But for supplements what do you suggest

get a good multivitamin for her with codliver oil and make sure you deworm her well

I know that kennel, I've been following it for some time now.
Her dogs are massive but greatly exaggerated, she's a very small person and she has a good camera man and the background they always use is very open and vague with nothing to use and estimate the size of the dogs except her(and she's very small so every dog will look huge next to her)
the few times they snap the dogs with other people it's either a child or someone squatting.

her dogs are very beautiful tho, she's on the top of my list for pups when I am ready to start keeping more dogs.
all her dogs are in very good condition, I fell in love with the kennel ever since I saw a picture of Hades

in port Harcourt you can get something like this for 50k or a little higher.
I don't know how it is in your state.
the pups won't turn out bad if you find a good litter, don't feel like because you're spending 50k on a pup it'll automatically be a bad dog.
if that's what you can afford then go with it, if you can wait and save up that's not a bad idea either

with 50k you'll find okay Caucasian pups if you're lucky.
don't expect the quality of your previous pup but the pup won't be bad.
if I had a pup from my dog I would've given you for that amount considering your bad luck with your previous pup.

dogs don't see spirits, they have hyper sensitive ears and noses meaning they can hear and smell things that you don't realize are close by.

Pls don't insult the OP, I can attest to the authenticity of the story, it's hard to believe but true. It happened not far from where I reside. The issue was even raised ryt in the state breeders group.

it's not possible for a dog to consume a human body, not even a kangal can do that so how does it make sense that a local dog did it?
what dog can chew and swallow the bones in the human leg or hand? or even the hip bones.
saying she was eaten after being dead for a while is more believable because they can easily pick at her flesh but to say they left only her head is a lie.

tbh if I were you I wouldn't cross her, I personally feel her body and mind isn't mature enough for breeding.
I have never kept a female dog and observed it after whelping so I can't confirm that for you, I've heard the same two different things from different people before.
it's your choice anyway, she can still be bred at this age
