While the internet is supposed to be a tool for enlightenment, it many at times send many into a rabbit hole and an echo chamber of lies and conspiracy theories.

Many people are advised to always double check information before absorbing it irrespective of how sensational it is. We have to try to not get sucked in emotionally to every bad news we see.

For instance, few months ago here, I posted the raw murder of a boy who was being killed by cultists. Only for me to later learn that that same victim being killed was a ring leader of a rival court who had assassinated a local government councilor in delta state.
