Next time I will suggest you do your findings yourself from the beginning of the communial tree of the land. Ask the old people in the community, nearby community and strangers who bought and built there about it. It's strenuous but life saving.

The land was in dispute between two communities, the first community started selling at cheap price so when the real community took theme to court and won the case they started selling same place . The person claiming mine bought from the community that lost the case now they are using military to threaten me .

Honestly you made a mistake yourself before paying for any property you should endeavor to make personal findings yourself and ensure you are buying with the right documents. If for instance you had engage even your own TS he would have known before hand. All these real estate companies are pure scam.

House and landed properties are amongst the best investment if you do the finding yourself. If you learn to do things yourself you will be surprised how far you will go without heavy substantial sum in this country.

As a lady nobody fit run me street in this country because I dey shine eyes follow Nigerians when it come to money.

you are in the spirit. I just got off a call with my contact there, and he told me there were issues with the launch. It will be completed next Wednesday, but just for the website portal. The mobile app fix for new users will come much later. Once the stuff is launched for the web portal, new users will be able to log in and track their investments.

I have learned the hard way , over 3 plot of land is now short and barely reach 2 plot.

Another one somewhere from no where claiming my land already started digging foundation.

Seems that lands in Lagos, Abuja and pH seem to have more of this problem. Did you survey the land and have the right documents?

First time I am into real estate I buy and sell property but my money short so I decide instead of leaving it in my account with no interest let me invest it.
I wanted to buy TBills . Went to different banks non seem interested to listen to me or take me serious I guess they thought I am too small because of my stature . So I decided to do little research about mmf and best firm to use .

The same thing I experienced when I went to both zenith and first bank. It's not about your stature some of those staff are just looking for whom to swindle through their own personal investment if you insisted on TB they won't want to attend to you.

In the past when Landlords are renting out their houses, they don't care about your privacy as far as you will pay their money at when due but these days Landlords are so annoying and they start asking what you do for a living etc... Well, I can excuse that due to the fact that they don't want to give out their house to a criminal. But they go as far as give agents the following conditions to rent out their house;

1. I only need a male tenant, single and working class

2. I only need a female tenant, single & working class

3. I only need a newly married couple without kids

4. I only need a single male or female but the type that go out in the morning and come back in the evening.

5. I only need a married couple with children

6. I only need a corper. Haba, for goodness sake.

7. Some Landlords will tell you they don't care who wants to rent the house but he would lock his gate latest by 9. I've encountered that before and it wasn't funny throughout my stay in the house for 2 years.

8. Some Landlords will tell you they don't like you bringing in friends anyhow whether male or female.

9. Other landlords will say they don't want womanizers that would bring black girl in the morning, fair girl in the afternoon, fat girl in the evening. Etc.

10. Lastly, some Landlord would say they need 2years rent at once. They don't collect one year rent.

11. There was a house I stayed, the landlady told me that she collects one year light bill together with your yearly rent because she doesn't want to knock your door every month asking for your light bill. It was estimated billing then and she pays same amount every month because she has no dept of even one naira on her bill. Though it helped me somehow Sha.
