U dnt need Biology for Engineering.
Sure U can use GCE

Secondly, will I need Biology for engineering?

I dnt think there's any clear-cut method on how to study with past questions.
The method I adopted in Jamb was this...
I made sure that I cover at least one year daily in subjects that I find fascinating(Biology and Chemistry)mind U I was still studying my texts.
I had to wait till I finish my Physics text before I was bold enough to open the pq to avoid heartbreak!

Guys, pls i need ur help on how to effectively study with past questions? In my jamb i barely used PQ for phy and chem, learnt my lessons, and one thing i also noticed in my jamb is, that.. It was one thing to recognize that the questions they set were frm my past question, and it was another thing to remember the answers to the questions. who encountered this? So guys, hw r u getting the best frm ur Past Question?
Pls someone should endorse/discard this method.
Read the phy text once, close it, then go to each yr of the PQ and search for ONLY the phy questions, answering them in the process. The ones that r difficut, note them, go back to d textbook, locate the topic and read it again, then go back to answer it.. eg (go to 2005, search for all d phy questions and answer them, then repeat for 2006-2014, taking into cognizance the difficult questions.)

Lemme burst your brain.. Algae was initially classified under "Kingdom Monera" with Bacteria and fungi, why? They are unicellular and but do you remember Bacteria is a Prokaryotic(No nucleus) and Non-chlorophyllous Unlike Algae which is Eukaryotic., Some bacteria tend to have the blue-green colour like Algae(Cyanophyta) which are the Cyanobacteria BUT with a further discovery, a green pigment was found in Algae which is the chlorophyll and chlorophyll can never be found without a chloroplast,, Possession of chloroplast is a unique characteristic of a green plant. A new green algae discovered (chlorophyta). Therefore Algae was removed by taxonomist from kingdom monera to plantae.. Further discovery happened and was discovered that both algae and fungi have "Thallus" (reproductive structure). They both moved to a class under Plantae which is Thallophyta (Thallo~ thallus)(phyta-plant).. Just that fungi is a Non-cholorophyllous Thallophyte while Algae is Chlorophyllous.

Essential biology stills classify Algae under monera,, Same happens in cerebrum-cerebellum issue.. That's for your level tho.. Don't blame them for limiting your medulla into an obsolete evolvement son
