Sadly the truth varies from individual to individuals. the children who got their freedom after the payemnt of ransome and their families wouldnt support obasanjo, however people who are not affected directly and felt it the resources and tax payers money that is been wasted would not prefer ransome

I am not interested in all this jargon, it is obvious that you are not in tune with Nigeria history if not you will know that South West did not vote for Obasanjo rather Yorubas voted for Olu Falaye but Igbos and northerners did, Obasanjo have never been in good book with Yorubas because of Awolowo-Shagari election saga, Obasanjo have never been a good Yoruba son, however anyone that emerge as a president of Nigeria should build all the regions in Nigeria, a president of Nigeria is not meant to be sabotaging a region because of a voting pattern.

whether we voted him or not Obasanjo remains a yoruba man full blooded, he ma not have majority in 1999 due to AD's influence, but by 2003 only lagos was AD with PDP sweeping the rest. In federal politics you dont project your agenda for others, you come out like a man and vie for a position to further progress your region and agenda. if southeast likes let them botcott votersregistration in hopes for referendum. northwest and southwest would utilise the small chance we have
