if your activity is at the detriment of the economy its Government business, this people do not pay income tax, they are law in them selves, if you think it's because you have a car and you don't patronise them it's none of your concern you are very wrong, they collect money from vehicles that bring in food stuffs in the city, they are solely responsible for 30% of inflation on any goods you buy so you are affected they do more damage to the economy than you think, and the top players are not productive in the economy in terms of service or good.
production.
...
They don't pay income tax sure, but hackney permit and other government permit is a form of taxation, including license etc, again each garage pays land use charge. And this drivers factor in cost of depreciation on their vehicle due to bad road as a tokunbo car used for transportation hardly last 3years.. again saying They do more harm to our economy is pure falasy in the real sense they are the back bone holding this economy

In reality politicians are already strategizing the return of power to south come 2023, Jonathan knows he still has a term left, hence he needs PDP intact, OGD and JIMI knows tinubu's camp has the rigging methodology and machinery hence his realignment, Wike already secured PDP structure and NWC through Secondus.

Southeast hopefuls have already been crippled abit in APC, with okorocha fighting for his relevance

SouthSouth Apkabio already silenced while Ameachi is fighting blood for blood to secure reserve base for 2023.

I hope when the real 2023 games begin some people wont scream marginalisation .

You are obviously trolling and doing a very poor job of it. But I'll humour you for a while.

Its quite a stretch to term legitimate criticism (of NURTW members anti-social behaviour) as "dehumanizing or rediculing" their occupation. How do you perform the mental gymnastics necessary to do this?! undecided

No one has criticized anyone's occupation or the concept/idea of a workers union here. The reasons for people's ire towards these NURTW folk have been clearly stated in this thread and do not need to be repeated.

You know exactly what you are doing in defending this NURTW nonsense. What is not clear is your reason for doing so.
Read all the comments above mine and you'd understand if they were been rediculed or not..

So Mr Albert Einstein proffer a solution rather than trying to repeat stating the obvious. A good argument most always lead to a wonderful idea or solution so I am listening

Your last sentence contradicts the thinking behind the previous ones.

Why would we want to end NURTW if it is the saviour of Nigeria as you implied in the bulk of your post? undecided Cognitive dissonance?
Dyslexia or Aphasia on your part perhaps?
undecided

Summary of my comment„>>

first part, stop dehumanizing or rediculing anyones occupation especially if you currently need them for your day to day activities

Conclusion: only workable solutions to the writer's observed issues, is to create new jobs and new government controlled "metro" transportation. Meaning tram trains, metro busses and subways... hope you got the simplified version

Buhari better interfere, no time for all this i belong to nobody, i belong to everybody swegbe talks..

This dumb non interference caused Saraki to hijack the Senate which bleed Nigerians
-- Senate budget alone now stands at N150bn per year without any visible capital project for this outrageous budget
-- They now get SUVs every four years
-- Saraki seats on national budget for over seven months
-- They even legalize budget padding
-- Critical national projects like Enugu airport runway repair, completion of Lagos/Ibadan express way budget were wickedly slashed making contractors to abandon site

Baba better wake up, or else is action or inaction may spell doom for APC in 2023, and shoud APC loose many people are ready to jail him and redicule his family

They are duly registered with the Nigerian government,

Nigerian constitution allows freedom of association

They are one of the largest job producer of our Nigerian economy, as their activities affects all other critical sector of the real non - oil sector of the economy.

How they levy themselves of tax and local government hackney permit (money that makes up part of IGR that funds budget that pays "suite and tie " workers) is really nobody's business so long private citizens are not disturbed for money .

Most of these people calling them "AGBEROS, THUGS" don't even have a private car or atleast a job that can get them to ride uber. Should this same agberos strike, some of them got no option than to trek long distance .

When INEC partners with them for logistics everyone keeps mute but when they visit politicians and government official hypocrites shout

If we truly want to end NURTW then we need more Jobs created and each city needs a government controlled metro transport system

Real music entrepreneur, He understands the power of marketing through publicity.

Amazingly all his media and business team and staffs are mostly under 30 and they have been able to create international music brand without the help of any crooked record label, yet they manage shows, tours, interviews, hotel and logistics well.

With a little bit of maturity, better corporate governance and good structure, his 30billion gang label can rise to the level of covering africa's pop clothing, music, headphones, sneakers market, and later offering investors IPOs to trade on the Nigerian Stock Exchange thus becoming zuckerbug of Afropop music business.
