grin like buhari ever respects the rule of law or court orders. The man that specifically told the Nigerian bar association and the CJN to their faces, that he won't be following the rule of law on selected occasions. After the nation wide raid on the judges and judicial staff across the federation by the DSS, buhari has enough dirt to blackmail many judges even if it is as insignificant as nude pics, or room filled with dollars, he's got them by the balls

And Islam is fully loaded with Arab culture, even the black stone of kabba has been with their culture thousands of years before islam

You people are taking all these respecting other tribes and alliances talk too far. What happens on Nairaland doesn't represent the state of Nigeria.
Igbos respect other people and that's why they coexist with several people groups in all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria. In many communities where Igbos live, they are so vital to the economy of those areas that without them, those people will find it difficult to cope. There is no local government in Nigeria where you won't see tens or even hundreds of Igbos.
Talking about alliances, because Igbos lost out in 2015, we shouldn't forget they have had strong alliances with the north for several years under PDP. Let's not blow these alliances talk out of proportion. If PDP comes back into power (which is very possible), Igbos will become key drivers of the economy again, just that we haven't been privileged to be president or VP. It's not as if most Igbos care much about those positions anyway.
2019 is just around the corner we shall all have answers to that which we seek

Shut up . its either you are ignorant or mischievous or both. Go and read the history of Biafran war from books written by those who fought the war. Don't come here to spew rubbish and tell me history you heard from beer parlor. How did the Biafran soldiers get to Ore ? Did they get to ore because they declared war and started fighting it or because they were repelling Nigerian soldiers ? Don't tell me what you don't know . Go and read Alexander Madiebo's book on the Nigerian/Biafran civil war.
Lol, typical frustrated ipob, I thought I could have a meaningful discussion on this topic without insults flying around, but then I start seeing "shutup" " ignorant" and" mischievous". .. No time for negativity this week. Bye and Good luck with your Biafra

Stop writing nonsense. Are you ibo or Yoruba?
Dont let me curse you oo. I for done slap you if you had said this nonsense in my front.
Intertribal marriage between this two tribes is small.
Lol okoro village boy, for city nobody got time for all that, i have dated Igbo girls before, and I currently care about an akwa ibom girl.... That doesnt stop me from playing around online with the tribal rants

By next year, Yorubas would have been president for 8 years and VP for 4 years out of 20 years of democracy. Has any Igbo man handled any of these positions for the past 35 years? Are we not all Nigerians?
In the spirit of fairness, a Yoruba man shouldn't handle any of those 2 positions for at least the next 20 years by which time power would have come back to the south for 8 years, gone to the north for another 8 years and would be returning to the south.
Lol "spirit of fairness" this is politics bro not some charity event. You must respect other tribe to get their votes and forge alliance with the majority tribe. At least unlike the punk that attacked me and tried to emotional blackmail me not to support a Yoruba presidency come 2023 you were diplomatic a feat many lack. People like okorohausa and orji kalu had started building the bridge of trust only for ipob and their leaders to begin the hate speeches

Politics › Re: Check Out The War Between The Yorubas And The Igbos On Twitter( PHOTOS) by iammo(m): 1:29pm On Oct 28, 2018
grin funny beef, that only ends online... You'd be shocked at how many Yoruba and Igbo's are dating and even married. Igbo's and Yoruba have never had a single fight in Lagos or any southwestern states before in recorded history na only cyber war
Politics › Re: Why using Hardship under Buhari to decide voting in 2019 is Unjustified by iammo(m):
What irks me is the comparison with the government we booted out. Debt isn't bad if there are economically viable projects to show for it. If the debt can deliver good road linking Lagos - Ibadan - ogbomosho - Ilorin axis and Oshogbo - Ibadan axis we can pay it back through electronic tolling in addition if the standard gauge line is active from Lagos - Abeokuta - Ibadan not only are we going to pay back we can start earning revenue from transport outside oil

So buhari's media team should save us the stories on Jonathan and the past.Egypt has added 25,000 megawatts (MW) of new power stations to the national electricity grid during the period from June 2014 to June 2018, resulting in a 25 percent surplus
Politics › Re: Why Atiku’s Peter Obi Pick Divided South-East - Thisday Newspaper by iammo(m):
smiley when fashola openly gave strategy for Yoruba to capture power come 2023 their youths called us names, little did we know they secretly have similar plans only difference is atiku can never agree to single term,
loyalty and first allegiance always goes to your nationality/ethnicity in a multi-ethnic/nationality country it happened in USSR, it happened with the Irish, Scottish, welsh and British. Hypocrites should save us the bigot name calling B.S. 2019 all man for himself

Nairaland General › Re: Propaganda At His Peak by iammo(m): 9:35am On Oct 28, 2018
Irritating attempts to discredit a good effort., yes APC's handling of economy is poor and security is worse but still blaming them for not abandoning projects like yaradua abandoned obasanjos project or how Jonathan abandoned yaraduas project around the country is just bizarre

What would have been your reaction if Britain had sent their army to kill your fathers and mothers , your brothers and sister during our clamor for independence from them in the 50s ? Will you have been here hailing them for killing your family members just because they asked for their independence ?

Caveat; this is exactly what you are doing to Biafrans now for asking for their freedom. Think about it.
British fought us for 40 years before conquering us with the help of runaway huasa slaves who are tired of Fulani rule, we won the independence argument based on common sense and superior arguments

However Biafra lunched two attacks on Nigeria one at obalende police headquarters the other a failed plane attack at apapa before Nigerian army joined the battle, the Biafra's offensive even went as far as forcefully gaining old bendel and were at a point in ore (Yoruba land) before General obasanjo helped repelled the Biafra army

This little history is to make you understand that Biafra killed many Nigerians also. And secession can never be achieved with insults and curses on other tribe, violence isn't an option too (this would only cause mistrust and political maligning )
However a political solution is viable. Before going into 2019 polls. Igbo's should set a simple agenda of inclusion of referendum in the constitution, and Igbo leaders and pressure groups must ensure all elected Igbo politician must sign a pact to promote the agenda

And to you, the lady was praised for insulting the president in the name of freedom of speech abi?

It will take a long while for Igbos to be liberated!
I honestly don't care if the Igbo's get liberated or not "wala ti won niyen" she protested with such gesture. And if you've paid the government all your life, you are entitled to protest against them..... But then the Nigerian mentality the rankadayday mentality, almajiri mentality, the baba sope mentality can never make us be brave enough to face such government whose policy we dislike
Nairaland General › Re: Is This One Middle Finger Worth $100,000? by iammo(m):
Freedom of speech and expression; this is one thing people should get right here in Nigeria as well, since we were born we have been paying 5% VAT tax on virtually everything we buy, government have collected custom duty on almost all foreign goods we own, they have made us pay huge fees for certificate they often times don't have and income tax and PAYE tax stands at 24% of our income made from our sweat. Yet when you criticize buhari or any government they attack you like the President is doing us a favor

Well you know there is no way in hell that will ever be the case...Please please and please lets stop deceiving ourselves talk realistically not fantasies okay?..The northerners i kmow will never choose a Timubu,Fashola(their being regardless) or any other Southerner over their own core Northerners come what may..

Now the only they were beaten was if the entire South and Middle-belt votes against them like the was with Jonathan in 2011..Buhari won in the NW and NE all the time he lost prior to 2015..Now if Tinubu,Osibanjo and co contests against a Kwakwanso,Makarfi,Tambuwal e.t.c in 2023 they will certainly go for theirs..or you wanna bet?

With this parochial, myopic and greedy lust for power by the Yorubas,i am afraid power will remain in the North for eternity ..perhaps till Nigeria dis-integrates..

Facts!!!
The fact that you think a northerner won't accept the gentleman's agreement of zoning is highly laughable. Till then we shall see who the greedy tribe are and the tribe that would likely clinch APC 2023 ticket, and never you forget that abiola defeated Ibrahim torfa of kano state in a fair election

ManirBK the smart abokkki has succeeded in fooling cone-heads on this thread into believing he will vote a Yorubaman over his fellow northerner in 2023 cheesy
It has been already concluded that the major political parties are zoning it back to south. Now deeply think without sentiment or prejudice, if a Yoruba man perhaps a Muslim like fashola or tinubu, comes out and an Igbo Christian perhaps Obi or Rochas... Who do you think the core northerners would vote.. Your honest answer would sum up the exact tribe who would rule you come 2023
