If the modus operands of buhari's military regime's war against indiscipline is anything to go by, I believe fg was happy all along with SARS brutal conduct. They need someone that can put fears into Inocent people, and arrest anybody at will, and since its democracy and military can't carry out such, and DSS doesn't have such staff strength, the viable option for intimidation is SARS

cry Can't even blame her, Nigeria is terribly hard on some people. People who spend all their data on foreign pornstars would condemn her. for her mum to still accept her back speaks volume of her background and the kind of poverty she's facing. One thing I respect is she didn't goto steal, or do rituals. She decided to redicule her body instead

Forget that thing. Every day we here of killing of Christains if you are not a Muslim you are an unbeliever.
Can you allow you child as a Muslim to Marry a Christian, the answer is no.

Don't allow anybody deceive you, the truth is Muslims hate Christians because the see them as their only obstacles on their mission to islamize the world
Lol, I get where you are coming from, and I'm honest with you when I tell you Christian and Muslim or religion is just another reason and opportunity for people to be divided. Farmers and herdsmen would kill eachother for land, white would kill blacks cos of racism, auguleri and umuleri would clash, student would kill each others and use cultism as their differences. Even if you take away religion someone somewhere will start something else to divide us. After all Adolf Hitler used to be a good catholic, and he killed more Jews than anyone in history, even the witch hunting massacre of the Europe during the medieval era was cordinted by priest

Sorry the Jew that you ppl hated his people so much but chose to believe him because hr wanted to make his book popular through such forgot to mention them. My reference are to the list posted by the author of the book.
This is simple misconception borne out of the fact that most Nigerians mix politics of middle east, with the religion, Arab and Jews are close neighbors. During jihad, the Arab fought early Muslim and Muhammad seeked refuge even with Christians, his best friend "quranic buhari" was a catholic Christian. The first set of believers of the one God and God of Abraham were Jews followed by Christians and lastly the Muslim. However the true unbelievers or the kafir are the idol worshipers, both jew and arabs who still use blood rituals and demons as form of worship

There are positive influences and negative ones.
I will not help you choose the only person among the list that had and is influencing the world negatively but I will tell you its evil to make his followers follow him in his unfortunate suffering before they are regarded as saints in the following ways:
1. Because he was orphaned at early age doesn't warrant he telling his followers that they must send their children to go begging as almajiri at early age.
2. Because he was an illiterate doesnt mean he should leave clauses in his book that will warrant people denouncing modern education.
I know this comment may be deleted or they will ban me for some time because thats what they do when you tell them the truth. If that Jewish man said the opposite they will shout to end with him as they do everyday. So i am not surprised that a muslim will accept a verdict of a jew on something. Just the way these post was created for praises but sorry to disappoint you.
Lastly, the fact that you think he was influential and you celebrate him and there is no record of his addent follower that influenced the people shows that he was a failure.
Sorry, many Muslims are influencing the world but in a negative way which makes me think there elder brother too influenced the world in same light.
Firstly no where in the Quran or Arab world practice the northern almajiri system, its northern normadic and migrational culture that they choose to infuse in to their own Islam,
Secondly he mandated in his teaching the seeking of knowledge,
And thirdly there are a million Islamic scientists that had contributed to modern science and I will give you a wikipedia link to that : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Muslim_scientists

Okay., l don hear you, Mr. Dino Me-Lying! grin grin

We all know the number of Senators Nigerian's constitution made provision for.
if Saraki can twist it to his favour, trust me, no be only him get that sense.
Just relax with Popcorn and watch events as they unfold.
Saraki is no longerin APC and there is no holds barred henceforth.

Can you imagine, the Clown is pretending that he is just thinking of contesting for President today, when that has been his secret ambiton from day one, ....he even has to slap his father, just to achieve it this far!
Cursed person from a cursed family, that Saraki.
Ambition no be crime, in fact since saraki joined politics after society general He has never lost a single election, unlike one general who is a professional losser, and a serial recessionist (if that word exist), if not for tinubu in 2015, who they also tried to sideline after victory. If we want to talk about betrayal, yes saraki stood his ground that his own sister can't govern kwara as against his dad's wish( must it be family affairs). If you have read about Mr general as an head of state who betrayed everyone who brought him to power to select an ilorin Yoruba Fulani man and a much more junior rank to the coupist as number too man, and yet made him rub it in the face of COAS babangida at that time, you would know Mr generals second name is betrayal

Hurry up Mr osinbade, before one general shows up, just like atiku and elrufai privatized what they could while obasanjo was junketing around the world, osinbande can effect some real changes and while at it he should make sure he gets the governors and their deputy to commit at least 50% percent of their security votes, and 50% of NASS members constituency allowance to the decentralized police

Daboomb:
Let me agree with you that this is Saraki's ace move.
true, if you cant remove Akpabio, you cant on the same basis, remove Saraki for decamping.

But here is another move:
Saraki was elelcted as SP, not by 2/3rds of the whole Senate memmbers (107 members).
He was elected by a simple majority (or let us even say 2/3rds) of the few/total Senate members present at the sitting on the day he of his 'election coup' in 2016 (recall that a large chunk of the Senate APC-members where somewhere else waiting for our not-so-smart President, who caled them for a meeting!).

So, if Saraki can be elected by 2/3rds of 'such number', (irrespective of what that number is), Saraki will be impeached at a particular sitting where 2/3rds of any number of Senators are present..... be it 50, 30, 70, e.t.c.

All they have to show is that of 'such number' present at the sitting on that day (just like the day of his selection), 2/3rds of them voted for his impeachment and he remians impeached.

I am sure Oshiomole is already looking at that scenario.

One day, Saraki will be answering a question probably at the FSARS investigating one of his numerous criminal activities, some Senators will gather on the floor of the NASS and move a motion for his impeachment (after ensuring that his PDP supporters are in naother engagement) and before his supporters like Dino could say 'wetin', the impeachers have carried the day.

Just like that, he is finished.

Saraki has mudered sleep and he wont even slumber, talkless sleeping.
You are quite funny and also sound like buhari and oshiomole. The simple truth is that you can't use coup or blackmail to impeach saraki, you only need a constituitional and political strategy, if you like steal mace, lay siege use media and even DSS. Constitution is very clear you need 2/3 of the whole senate to impeach saraki, while only majority of the inaugural Senate meeting is needed to apoint a senate leader. For educational purpose and benefit of arguments here I will quote the section backing my claims in the Nigerian constitution; (1) There shall be:-
(a) a President and a Deputy President of the Senate, who shall be elected by the members of that House from among themselves; and
(b) a Speaker and a Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, who shall be elected by the members of that House from among themselves.
(2) The President or Deputy President of the Senate or the Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives shall vacate his office -
(a) if he ceases to be a member of the Senate or of the House of Representatives, as the case may be, otherwise than by reason of a dissolution of the Senate or the House of Representatives; or
(b) when the House of which he was a member first sits after any dissolution of that House; or
(c) if he is removed from office by a resolution of the Senate or of the House of Representatives, as the case may be, by the votes of not less than two-thirds majority of the members of that House.

u're ignorance of what's happening. Nobody want Saraki to lose his seat but d Senate leadership
. That's dead on arrival, nothing can prompt him to resign, as no where in the constitution makes senate presidency an exclusive right of the rullng party.

INEC SECURITY BUDGET OF 6bn

300,000 security personnel.
30 days election period.
6 billion budget.

6, 000, 000, 000/300, 000=20, 000

That's 20k per security personnel

20k divided by 30 days
That's N660 per day.

This is poor pay if you ask me, but because we're used to propaganda we usually ignore the maths..."--Efe Okopsio.

Not everything is politics.

For those who have been questioning the budget, can we know if there was provision for security welfare in the previous elections' expenses? To a great extent, this will take the welfare of police personnel away from local politicians and probably reduce the tendencies for compromise.

Before you raise air or compare, please always endeavor to get details.
Election duty in the police act is stipulated as special duty, as oppose to the 30 days you used in your calculations, special duty allowance would be paid to you only when you are redeployed, and days of active service and the day you report to another command for such duty is what you get paid for. In this case I doubt any redeployment would be nessary as election are nationwide, and general election is 2 days, state house and others are conducted for 2 days

Your analysis is incomplete. Unfortunately for him, it will pave way for more defections. Most likely from PDP to APC. And that will be his doom.
Defection goes both ways APC only need more senators temporarily to boot out saraki and pass suplimentary budget. Senators know this and they are using it as a bargaining tool
Politics › Re: Court Stops Saraki From Declaring Akpabio’s Seat Vacant by iammo(m):
Smart move, if apkabio , and other decampees can't loose their seat even when there wasn't any fractionalization in PDP, then saraki can't loose his when there was an obvious fractionalization in APC, leading to 23 states with parallel Congress. That is some offensive move, saraki is no more playing defensive. For people who lack understanding of this move; the sole aim is to loose the case and give the loss good publicity thereby setting a precedence that what is good for apkabio is also good for others saraki's lawyers would never contest the ex parte order
