But something has changed this perception of mine, my very close friend found himself a very rare kind of "Nigerian woman", she not only a cheerleader but a supporter, she checked on this my guy everyday like it was her soul duty in life(what is usually in the reverse case), she brought food for him to work everyday, even at times when he says he's eaten to avoid coming off a needy she'll get angry his not telling her the truth and still brings him food, some ladies would prefer to lay back and take all the caring, gift showers and visits but this particular lady would even call first, got him gift for his birthday (they just met around March, a month later in April on his birthday), she's visited and seen his family (all his folks loved her), his job is very menial and inconsistent, he might be home for days without any job, this rare being took it upon herself to find him job. It's not like she's not fine, she's so beautiful, all the guys wanted her but she just wanted one guy out of all of them(my friend), he never toasted her, they just started talking, he's a natural player on a good day but bro is changing gradually, a guy that was crying profusely that financial insecurity might make the girl leave him, I was the one consoling him and making him understand that a girl like this seldomly leave a man because of financial insecurity but what will crack her hell loose is disloyalty and he should adjust in that department. They are going strong over 5months now waxing stronger everyday.

This has made me believe that there are unique "Nigerian women" out there who would ride or die with u, the percentage may be low but they're real. My prayer has been lord give me this kind of woman and I'll build her an empire with both my hands.

Exactly how I see it, I believe beauty is inborn and summounts the physical attributes of anyone. As a man is beautiful for being a loving and caring man to his spouse despite the responsibilities he shoulders and turbulence in his daily life, so is a woman beautiful when she's caregiving, loving, submissive and respectful even at times when her man isn't as loving as she expected. Ironically I'm actually watching a movie related to this thread; She's been living with her boyfriend who's been the one begging for marriage but she refused, she says she's a feminist and she wants to get promoted at her job first before she can even 'consider' marriage, her (apparently) only friend and colleague in the movie has been on her case forever but she has refused to shift grounds, the boyfriend's elder sister(mother figure) came and has castigated her for not being able to cook for her brother(son figure) and as well being a jezebel of a Lady....

Part2- okay well she lost the job she was all engrossed into and it's still her faithful, loving, one of a kind boyfriend (what some folks would tag SIMP on nairaland) who helped her secure another one, she was happy again after much turbulence and neglect she's put the guy through. The guy lost his business and in huge debts, his debtee got him arrested till he was able to pay back the 50milion debt, good thing her new job had taken a turn up for the books and thanks to her stars she had apologized to her good friend (who she had on leaving her last job bastardly condescended and discarded) and brought her into the new company, her good friend sacrificed her own 30milion of the 50milion deal they just completed... Her boyfriend was released, still just as they got home he proposed to her for the umpteenth time and she accepted.
