Largas: LOL.
This is a common case among some West African Health Professionals.
Normally, the pay scale/range for health professionals in oversea is huge. So some frustrated Health professionals from Ghana, Nigeria, Togo travel overseas and obtain citizenship in order to enjoy higher salary.
But, that is a wrong move. Forsaking your home country because of plenty money is not the nicest of all options.

Don't call this a Ghanaian thing. Some Nigerians do this as well. And even through other means.

HandOfChukwu: It was found, by a white female Egyptologist but she was banned from Egypt by Zahi Hawass, the Egyptian governments appointed director of everything to do with Ancient Egypt for telling everyone that Nefertiti just like all of the Ancient Egyptians was a black African.

Non-blacks(oyinbos) don't like to admit the Egyptians were black because they taught the Greeks and Romans everything they know and even then they still couldn't understand it all. If they have to admit they were black they also have to admit THEY are inferior and black is superior, know your history.
beautiful write up bro.. It shows they have a lot to hide and our history has been distorted.. This only throws morw light on my research that blacks were once the greatest.. But along the line somthing went wrong.. Very wrong that paused the growth of of our people interlectually which cause us a lot.. Today.. Africans look to the Abramic religions to fine their roots.. Some of the famous greek scientist were africans..we even sailed to america b4 colombus.. History is a weapon and a light to your foot path.. Too bad ..a lot are more interested in other people history

Subom1: 2. Queen Yaa Asantewaa of Ashanti (Ghana) Yaa Asantewaa is said to have been born in 1840 and died in 1921. She was a successful farmer and mother. She was an intellectual, a politician, human right activist, Queen and a leader. Yaa Asantewaa became famous for leading the Ashanti rebellion against British colonialism to defend the Golden stool. She promoted women emancipation as well as gender equality. She was the sister of the Ruler of Ejisu (Ejisuhene) Nana Akwasi Afrane Okpase, an ethnic group in present day Ghana.

After her brothers death, Yaa Asantewaa, being very influential as queen mother, used her influence to nominate her grandson as Ruler of Ejisu. In 1896, her Grandson as well as the King of the Asante (Prempeh I) were exiled to Seychelles by the British. This was Britain’s way of dealing with African kings in the past as was the case with the Benin Kingdom with the capture and exile of Oba Ovonramwen (King of Benin) in 1897. Sending a king to exile in such times was often followed by looting of their land. This has led to the discovery of lots of Africa’s valued arts and crafts in Britain. Till date, Africa has still not been able to regain its stolen treasures.

As expected, to further entrench their authority, the British Governor-General of Ghana (then known as the Gold Coast) Frederick Hodgson, demanded the Golden Stool. The Golden stool was the symbol of the Asante kingdom. This prompted a conference of the elders. Yaa Asantewaa was highly disgusted at the behavior of her male counterparts and insisted that if the men would not fight, she would gather the women to fight for the land.

Yaa Asantewaa led the famous war known as the War of the Golden Stool in 1900 against the British. She was captured and sent on exile to the Seychelles. Yaa Asantewa died in exile on the 17th of October 1921. Yaa Asantewa’s War was the last major war led by an African woman. To date, she is honored in Africa as one of the greatest African women
The Greeeeaaaat Queen Yaa Asantewaa!!! Queen mother of Ejisu!!! She is an iconic figure.. I hope I will be able to make a hollywood styled moive of she and okomfo ankoye!

Eberex: Free will comes in terms of diseases and accidents we see today. When people have sex with animals what do you think would be the result? When we neglect certain measures in maintenance what are the results? Accidents of course! War and chaos happening today are choices we make and not God. Atomic bombs we build are from resources from the earth; who built these bombs? Everything in this world has been created for good but we are the ones who are the evil ones.
u r right that the misfortunes r not from God but have u asked why its hard to hear of a natural disaster in africa?

Eberex: The hurricane you are talking about is as a result of some reactions be it chemical or physical. The same thing we face here on earth too. When you plant seed in the soil was it magic that caused it to yield fruits? Its a process and the same process you find at hurricanes only it is different. Were you expecting everything created by God to be enjoyable? How then would Man subdue the earth as commanded?
okay good .. But in your first statement why did u generally attribute reactions to God when you stated Whatever is happening now is the choice we human made. And it was as a result if the free-will given to us which was abused.

JMAN05: All these are mythology. Peter said of the Christ;

2Pet. 1:16

No, it was not by following artfully contrived false stories (mythos) that we acquainted YOU with the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, but it was by having become eyewitnesses of his magnificence.

The apostles were aware of this myths, that is why he made it clear that their's weren't such. The historicity of early Christians is not in doubt by sincere people, even Richard Dawkins agreed that Jesus existed.
I don't doubt the existence of Jesus in anyway. But its expected that you are quick to debunk anything contrary to your belief ,you are judging the matter according to your
accepted ideology, I brought up a factual claim but you are not questioning the ideology that you have accepted. What's your own yard stick of measuring a religion or belief as a myth? Usually it is the myths of cultures that turn into religions. All the religions people practice today are based on myths of dead cultures. If Christianity didn't survive to this generation it will also be a myth.. The story of horus is still very much alive and is worshiped. From the free masons to the sugar coated catholics. The elite over time have succeeded in bringing an organized religion and controlling the flow of information that goes to the masses. Mixing the so called things that you may call myth into the religion.. The likes of sun worship ,christmas and easter. The horus story was discovered from various archaeological texts like the dead sea scroll. Which dates far back as the time of abraham.

and every church should be licenced with huge money before they can operate to reduce the number of churches/mosques that are making noises all over the street
I was going to make my comment but I think u have said It all .. Thank u..a family friend came back from uk and was talking about a mosque close to her house and an olds people home she said that the moaque uses sound proof glasses.. And knowing that fasting is going on..people usually come in to pray before break their fast.. The local goverment has warned that they don't want too much packing, noise and over crowding on the street cos people are living around especially the old people..and the moslems have no problem complying cos the same goes to churches.. Even africans will go worship there and like the mode of doing things.. But when u come back to africa they feel free to dumb all their craze here.. Open up religious institutions in residential and prohibited places causing noise pollution and traffic..lastma even come to ensure safe passage.. I wonder if there is urban planning and the use of the local govt.. Also the reknowned ghanaian herbalist kweku bonsam.. When he got to usa he said he could not work effectively. And attend to his clients because he has not uet gotten his work permit and his line of work was not yet inspected to see if it meets criteria.. Now that's what am talking about.. Law abiding.. We blacks have to stop li ving like we r in jungle and learn to do things orderly.. I agree with pagan9ja but where am not comfortable with is his tone.. We need to be transparent with our dealings and give fair judgments irrespective of our. Religious background.. Asides that am cool.. And also all churches.. Mosque .. Babalwao or what ever must be banned on local tv stations.. If u want to show such there r platforms or u can create your tv station.. The african masses vulnerable cos anything can just come up on tv.. Put a child to watch nta or other local channels and put a child to watch dstv..and u will see the IQ difference ! craziebone: i have never seen Ghana as less corrupt than Nigeria. I think it is frustration that made people compare Nigeria to Ghana.

They use to be called Gold Coast. What did they do with the money?

I think their elections have been less violent because after the gold, there was nothing to fight for. Now that they have oil, we are begining to see their electoral preocess becoming more contested and violent. If you have been monitoring Ghana's elections for a while now, you will come to see that there is more controversy surrounding their elections as they go by.

The election that brought Attah Mills in is a bit more credible and less controversial than the one that brought in Mahama. Their next election will even be more controversial and violent than the past ones.
although u r right on some things here. I suggest if u r not sure u research about some things and find out.. The whole africa is grappled in resource curse due to corruption and mis management.. but despite all the ups and downs in ghana the country is known to have raised renowned leaders which were decisive in leadership.. The likes of kwame nkrumah.. No west african president,, has done up to capacity of what he has done till to date..with part of the cocoa money he set up a lot of world class projects.that the country is even still benifiting from .. .even started ghanas nuclear programme.. And trained scientist in russia..his plan did not just cover ghana but africa as a whole in the spirit of pan africanism.. But he was seen as a threat to the neo colonaist. So the CIA stepped in which aided in over throwing him.. Ghana was posed to be a developed african nation like singapore but then it was as if the clock stopped.. Coups started and economic mismanagement et all .. Ghana has a lot other than Gold so that's not a reason to fight..ghanaians see things differently.. But I will say this present state the country is in amounts to tribalism . In which the country is paying costly for that. But despite that I know that the country will rise again.. Ghanas oil policies have been recognised as the most transparent in africa .m I just know that with time they will pick back up.. They have learnt from nigeria and angola. But this incumbent gov needs to be out of power.

efficiencie: Funny sir, yu are so funny sir!

HORUS!? 'GODMEN'!? Do you have infallible documented evidence of your assertion!? If many in this forum doubt JESUS ever existed then why must they believe HORUS existed. You could as well say SANGO existed as a man and that he was a 'DISTANT COUSIN' of THOR!

What about ISIS and OSIRIS, they are 'GOD PEOPLE' too right...and if they are 'GOD MEN they must have genealogies. Do you access to evidence to support this!?

...and what of ODIN, FREYA, TWI, LOKI, HERCULES, HADES, ZEUS, CRONOS...the list goes on bro. They are GOD PEOPLE too right!?...Even Paul and Apollos were labelled ZEUS and HERMES by the SO SO WISE GREEKS when they beheld their great deeds...

HORUS!? 'GODMEN' grin mehn yu r funny!
let me also attend to this your quote in detail.

when I use the term god man I am referring to the people over the sands of time that are known to have followed concept of divine incarnation. Of which jesus is not an exemption. I believe that jesus existed and that he was a god man.. To understand this things u must be religious tolerant and open minded. am also still learning everyday
Several Christian writers admit
the belief in earth-born Gods (called Sons of Gods), and their coming into the world by human
birth was prevalent among the heathen long prior to the time of Christ. Hear the proof.
We will first quote St. Justin relative to the prevalence of the belief among the ancient
Greeks and Romans. Addressing them, he says,
“Here is the proof that the tradition of the Son of God coming alto the world, and "the Word becoming flesh," was
established amongst the
ancient Greeks and Romans long prior to the era of Christianity, or the birth of Christ. p. 207 And yet more than a hundred millions of
Christian professors can now be found, who, in their historic ignorance, suppose St. John was the first writer who taught the doctrine of "the Word becoming flesh," and that Jesus Christ was "the first and only begotten Son of God" who ever made his
appearance on earth. How true it is that "ignorance is the mother of devotion" to creeds”.
The story of Jesus as portrayed in the Gospels is revealed to be nearly identical in certain details to that of the earlier
savior-gods Krishna and Horus, et al., who for millennia preceding Christianity held great favor with the people in much the same way as Jesus does today.
Horus was born of the virgin Isis-
Meri on December 25th in a
cave/manger with his birth
being announced by a star in
the East and attended by three
"wise men."
His earthly father was named
"Seb" ("Joseph"wink. Seb is also
known as "Geb": "As Horus the
Elder he...was believed to be
the son of Geb and Nut." --Lewis
Spence, Ancient Egyptian Myths
and Legends, 84.
He was of royal descent.
At age 12, he was a child teacher in the
Temple, and at 30, he was baptized,
having disappeared for 18 years.
Horus was baptized in the river Eridanus
or Iarutana (Jordan) by "Anup the
Baptizer" ("John the Baptist"wink, who was
decapitated.
He had 12 followers and/or fellow gods,
two of whom were his "witnesses" and
were named "Anup" and "Aan" (the two
"Johns"wink.
He performed miracles, exorcised
demons and raised El-Azarus ("El-
Osiris"wink, from the dead.
The Egyptian god walked on water.
His personal epithet was "Iusa," the
"ever-becoming son" of "Ptah," the
"Father." He was thus called "Holy
Child."
Horus was transfigured on the Mount.
The Egyptian god/Osiris was killed,
buried for three days in a tomb, and
resurrected.
Horus, Osiris and/or Ra were called the
"Way, the Truth, the Light," "Messiah,"
"God's Anointed Son," the "Son of Man,"
the "Good Shepherd," the "Lamb of
God," the "Word made flesh," the "Word
of Truth," etc.
The Egyptian god was "the Fisher" and
was associated with the Fish ("Ichthys"wink,
Lamb and Lion.
He came to fulfill the Law.
The Egyptian god/Osiris was called "the
KRST," or "Anointed One."
Like Jesus, "Horus was supposed to reign
one thousand years."
