grin

32% of Nigerians use bitcoins is a big fat lie.
32% of 1000 - 4000 representative of online population. Not 32% of the whole population.

At maturity, I was to get 10m but my action got me 9.925m meaning am short of 75k, charges all inclusive. If I didn't terminate, would have gotten all complete so I deduce that I loss 75k.
Just like mine, I was charged 40k.

You can't buy 26k worth of Treasury Bill, the minimum is 100k which is obtainable from First Bank or Stanbic IBTC.

Zenith or GTB will require a minimum of N1 million
You are right sir, I just don't want to mention the figures.

They sold everything and then use part of the proceeds to buy new investments which you filled at the going rate
I don't think so. I had about 26k and I withdrew 10k from it. I got the full liquidation of the balance at the maturity date. I would have been credited the whole amount if they actually sold everything.

How did you do ithuh

U can liqudate all and reinvest some but never can you liquidate part, please enlighten me if I am still wrong, we are here to learn. I just liquidated 10m worth with maturity of Sept 9th and got 9.925m to boost up and reinvest on Wednesday on 15.4942% commercial paper at 270 days.

Did my maths and realized I will be making about 35k for terminating though am losing about 75k as penalty. Bought at little above 4% and liquidated at 7.5% to reinvest at 15.4%. if I waited till Sept, might not get that 15%.

So my guy that liquidated part of your investment, please show me how, thanks
I did it with Zenith Bank at a 6% rediscount rate. I don't know about other banks. That's all.
See the attached re-discounting form

I am surprised that u of all people would reason along with ur stupid lawyer...it means both of u don't have conscience.
Thank God una don dey exposed una selves small small. Many of u on this thread aren't what u guys portray in real life but thank goodness we're getting to know u guys gradually.

In everything u do in life, have conscience. Ur lawyer will not like to be seen as a wicked man,I am sure u know he will tell them the landlord advised him to terminate his rent.
To them, the landlord must be callous because u allowed it.

Reason this and turn a new leaf.
This is business.
FamilyRe: Please Help I Need Advice!!! How Do I Ask My Father For Forgiveness From This by IamR: 9:35am On Jun 15, 2021
First off, call your younger siblings together and apologise to them for insulting their father. Beg them to go with you to apologise to your mother. All of you should go to your father and be very remorseful, apologise, hold his leg and ask for forgiveness. Plead with him to bless you and your siblings. If I were you, I will also tell them that I am already prepared for exit; I am sure he won't let you go.
May God forgive you.

I am failing to see where I am emotional... Ive got investments scattered across a wide range of sectors. When shares or land I buy is not doing well or takes a dip, I don't expect those who think I was foolish in buying shares to come and start goading me... And yes, I'd talk about it cos it's been tge most profitable investment for me over the last 2 years and has helped me increase my stake in other assets.

Many here have called bitc0in investors gamblers and see it as a worthless asset. No problems. Folks are generally stuck in their ways. I see no reason why people who have no kobo in bitc0in will consistently goad crypt0 investors whenever there is a pullback. It's becoming stale.. The crypt0 market is an uptrending but volatile one.. that's not a discovery... Everyone in it knows that. Any market has ups and downs...
People here have different assets many of which could be in loss. No one comes and starts goading someone whose land they bought is at a loss...

I largely keep off discussions around crypt0 here... But it seems folks here can't keep off it either
You are taking crypto too personally. You're not the only crypto investor, please. Some of us here are into it too.

bro, contentment and planning is the key.
I am a living testimony here not for boasting but for you to learn. Before introduction of ippis to federal tertiary institution in Nigeria, my salary was 43700 but now my salary is about 38850 due to heavy taxation by ippis. To the glory of God I have 2- Three bedroom flat in ibadan(though the 2nd flat still in lintel level) and my children living fine.
now to my God's given secret
1)planning
2)economize
3)cooperative society
4)contribution.
Those are the secret God gave me to forge ahead and no need for what not useful for me
God bless you more and more. I am also a living testimony. People don't believe things like this until they see it.

The road from Mbiama to Yenagoa is a federal road...I think that's the road in the video. That road also goes to Port Harcourt, so the lady is right.
No. This is city gate to Igbogene constructed by Gitto construction company. Mbiama to Yenagoa road does not look like this. There are houses and vehicular movement along Mbiama -Yenagoa road.
PoliticsRe: Does Bayelsa Have The Best Federal Roads? What I Saw (Pictures, Video) by IamR: 6:24pm On Apr 17, 2021
This is a state road and not federal. This road will take you from Yenagoa city gate to Igbogene. The one from Mbiama to Yenagoa is a federal road.

Na only for civil service everybody for the same scale de always get the same salary. In many private organizations, if you stay too long, those employed after you will negotiate a higher salary than you and you won't know until one person slips up one day and spills the information.

I am sure that many people who are only used to bank and Chinese company type of contract staff do not know that it is possible for contract staff to earn more than some employees.
Very correct.

Even salaries. Trust me there are employees that make more than their peers in large organizations. Salaries are confidential. People get very disappointed when they find these things out. That’s why they are rarely discussed in certain organizations where employees are allowed to negotiate their salaries. Most management and executive salaries are highly negotiated.
You are very correct.

I can see guys are exploring alternatives now that tb rates are not attractive. I can't thank God enough for making me take the courage to diversify into real estate. I keep asking people the average rental returns from building house, trying to compare with my stable and guaranteed investments (I do tb and Stanbic Money Market) but I could not get an actual value. Many variables involved yet I didn't give up, started meeting people, engineers, real estate agents, and eventually, I realized there's nothing to be scared of... I emptied my money market, buy land for ajah, get seriously involved to minimise cost.

Bought land at lakowe, Ajah for 3m half plot
Built 8 units of room and parlour self contain (4 on the ground floor and 4 at the top)

Total spent about 13m

In total spent about 17-19m

Started renting out and within 5 months, all units has been occupied @ 350k annual fee (agreement and commission took the first payment to 450k)

Total return from rental first year: 3.6m (450 X cool

Expected annual returns onward : 2.8m

In percentage :

First year : 20 percent return on investment

Expected annual return onward: 15.5 percent

There was a time I got this value from tb (2016 - 2018), money market has always been around 13 percent at peak for me.

I'm just glad I now have a stable return of over 15 percent without worrying about rates dropping...

To blow your mind : I have just been introduced to developer style of real estate... I have already signed a property self.. Cost of buying land and building from ground up (foundation construction) is off... Based on the site engineers quotation, with 6m, we should finish the renovation work and paint the building. Family one off payment was 1.5m so in all, about 8m should finish everything. They are leasing the building to me for 12 years and annual returns expected is about 3.2m.. That's over 35 percent return annually.

I don't think I will ever go back from real estate...

That's my personal experience, so if anyone is looking for alternative, do your findings on real estate. And be careful, don't cut cost, always go through a reputable lawyer, they are not that expensive, street is hard even the lawyers fees are now negotiable lol... All the best.
Wow! Just 13m.
Please can you do a rough breakdown?

This experience is not a funny one. It must have cost some people alot. Flight delays are becoming so common and it's unfair, after all the rush to check in and wait. The last place to wait is at the airport, everywhere is buzzy.
It was not a palatable experience. Our 11:40am flight didn't leave until 7:30pm. I checked in around 10:25am. I even missed my appointment in Lagos.

OP, just a little correction, 11:00am passengers didn't leave at 1:00am the following day, we left the airport at 7:30pm on Friday. Dana Air didn't even offer us ordinary water.
