He was saying the figures as in numbers (LP 75, APC 10) will not be transmitted.

LP has been consistent in quoting what INEC chairman said.

Barely three days to the conduct of Presidential and National Assembly elections,Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has clarified that raw figures of election results would not transmitted electronically by his Commission.

Yakubu made the revelation on Wednesday night at a meeting with leaders of International Election Observers who visited him at his Commission headquarter.

He said Presiding Officers has the mandate to use the Bimodal Voters Accreditation (BVAS) machine to snap
election results documented on the results sheet from each polling unit and upload the photo of the result on the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IRev) for anxious Nigerians to observe.

Thanks fo this submission, it's going to help clear whatever air of confusion the respondents are trying to introduce in respect to transmission of results.

And rightly so,the justices rejected their shameless attempt to sneak in that nonsense as an evidence to be admitted into court.

We need to read the full text to know what he meant exactly. But raw figure could mean that the value in the sense of typing LP 75, APC 20 etc will not be done.

What ever reason they alluded will not be relevant because they transmitted Senate and House of rep.

And transmission of the result is embedded in the electoral act.

INEC lawyer want him to say it is a eletronic collation system to infer that the system sums up the result automatically. If he had said that it.means does not have understand and his analysis will be thrown away in the dustbin.

But he was right by saying is is a collation system that serves as a checker. He said it is supposed to store a copy of the original EC8A transmitted from PU. He did very well.

You shouldn't be expending your energy and time on that man.

Going through the content of the news,you will get that it's written that the results won't be transmitted in RAW figures like [ APC 23 ,LP 45 ,PDP 53] from the polling unit,not the nonsense their legal team are trying to claim in court
INEC just succeeded in scoring an own goal.

In summary about the content of the news ;

INEC said they wouldn't transmit raw figures like Kenya did in 2015, but they would upload result images [form EC8A] to a portal.

"RAW FIGURES" here means just the number of votes.
For instance,in a polling unit,LP got total of 23 votes,APC got total of 34 votes ,PDP got total of 75 votes etc.
INEC claimed the results won't be transmitted by those "raw figures " like, transmitting only the number of votes each party got,but rather everything would be captured as an image [from form EC8A] and uploaded in real time.
