A Nigerian doctor named Anthony Nwafor, has been accused of corruption and illegal immigration by the Department of Home Affairs in South Africa. Nwafor, a family physician was arrested two weeks ago with 14 of his family’s passports. The department of Home affairs in its report said Nwafor was arrested for unlawfully being in possession of those passports which were South African and Nigerian and had tried to bribe an officer investigating him with 50,000 rand.

Nwafor’s wife, Amara, who is a practicing pharmacist, was initially arrested alongside her husband, but was later released as charges against her were dropped while her Nigerian passport is yet to be released.
Amara Nwafor has condemned the allegations against her husband,
“I see what is going on here as xenophobic prosecution and I also see it as white collar xenophobia,” she said. Nwafor subsequently appeared at a bail hearing in Limpopo province over charges level against him.
In cross-examining, the prosecuting counsel questioned the different spelling of the doctor’s name on his documents seized and prayed the court not to grant him bail, stressing that the court was not sure who it was releasing.
Nwafor’s legal representative believed that the errors in the spelling of his client’s name by the department should not cost him a denied bail, insisting that his identity cannot be questioned in a country where he studied and has practiced for 14 years. The presiding judge adjourned the case and asked for more time to study the arguments of both parties and the evidences presented to him.

Governor Tanko Al-makura of Nasarawa State on Saturday said that the state government would launch the construction of a N20 billion cargo airport in Lafia in December.
Mr. Al-makura spoke in Lafia during the signing of contract agreement between the state government and a Chinese firm, Tongyi Group Engineering, and representative of HYPAD, the Chinese firm that would finance the project.
“You will recall that about three weeks ago, a Memorandum of Understanding with regard to our commitment to have a befitting cargo airport in Lafia was signed between the state government and a Chinese company.
“In line with that MoU, as well as our commitment for the smooth take-off of the airport, today we are going to sign the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) which is the final stage before the official flag-off of the project, slated for December this year”, he said.
Mr. Al-makura said the project was necessary because of the benefits the state stands to gain from it, especially in terms of economic boost, revenue generation and job creation.
The governor stated that 75 per cent of the total cost of the project would be financed by Tongyi Group and its financial consultants, leaving the state with only 25 per cent commitment.
Mr. Al-makura said the proposed Lafia airport was conceived to reinforce his administration’s template for the overall development of the state.
He noted that the cargo airport would open access for easy visit of investors who might be interested in taking a look at the state’s endowment for businesses.
“The proposed airport seeks to unlock the potential that lie in the state to attract investment, and would as well complement the burden at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport being the closest to the Federal Capital Territory”.
Mr. Al-makura, who explained that funds for meeting the state obligation would be through the Federal Government’s intervention on infrastructure, noted that repayment would be spread out over a period of six years.
The Chairman of Tongyi Group, Algreen Zhen, expressed confidence that when completed, the airport would add value to the citizens of Nasarawa State and its neighbours.
He expressed confidence that his company would deliver the project in good time, having put in place arrangements for the smooth take-off of the project.

The mother and daughter identified as Uche Nweze and Ukamaka from Ijo-ozalla in Igboetiti local Government Area of Enugu state, allegedly fell into a well on Wednesday Nov. 11, and drowned. According to a statement by Enugu State Police Command, the corpses were recovered and deposited at Zim Uzo Hospital Mortuary Igbo etiti for post mortem examination. Meanwhile, investigation has since been launched to find out the circumstances surrounding their death. Already, four suspects are helping the police in their investigations. The presidency has debunked claims by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), that it plans to rig Saturday’s governorship election in Kogi State in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The PDP, had, yesterday, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, raised an alarm over what it described as plot by the APC and the Presidency to rig the elections in favour of the APC.
Metuh claimed that the party had information that the Presidency convened a clandestine meeting with the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to perfect plans to rig the election.
However, President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu, explained that the motive behind the ‘five-minute meeting’ President Buhari had with the nation’s electoral umpire and the police, was aimed at having credible election in Kogi State on Saturday, November 21.

According to Shehu, the president called the meeting to inform INEC and the police that “he expected nothing short of a free, fair and credible election.”
“He said he suffered election manipulation in 2003, 2007 and 2011 and would not like to have any Nigerian go through that again,” Mr. Shehu said.
“The meeting was short and straight to the point. It ended after five minutes,” Shehu added.
He said only Mr. Buhari spoke at the meeting, others just listened.
The presidential spokesperson called on Nigerians to “be wary of the PDP’s fruitless attempts to destroy national institutions President Buhari is determined to rebuild.”
“They (PDP) started with the courts, then the EFCC, then onto the police and now they are on the one-week old INEC.
“When will PDP allow our national institutions to do their job?” he asked.

The yearly earning of the 37 ministers has been revealed as senior ministers are set to earn N485m yearly..
Each of the 37 ministers sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday will receive current remuneration packages approved by the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, SUNDAY PUNCH has learnt.
The current remuneration of public office holders is guided by the Remuneration Act of 2007.
However, after the preparation of the new packages by RMAFC, it still has to be presented to the Federal Executive Council which has the responsibility to present it to the National Assembly as a bill for enactment as an Act of Parliament.
Chairman of RMAFC, Mr. Elias Mbam, told our correspondent on Saturday that the new packages would soon be made public. He said the work was “going through a process of editing.”
Presidency sources told our correspondent that the new ministers would be paid in accordance with the existing statute because the reviewed package was not ready.
According to the current package, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola; Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi; Minister of Information and Culture, Mr. Lai Mohammed and other senior ministers will get N4,052,800 as housing allowance. The annual housing allowance is 200 per cent of a minister’s annual remuneration.
Each of the ministers is also entitled to N6, 079,200 as furniture allowance. The furniture allowance is 300 per cent of a minister’s annual salary. Unlike the housing allowance, however, the furniture allowance is paid once in four years. This means the furniture allowance per annum is N1,519,800.
Should any of the ministers desire, they are also entitled to N8,105,600 as motor vehicle allowance. The motor vehicle allowance is, however, a loan repayable by the end of the tenure of the minister.
The annual basic salary of a substantive minister is N2,026,400. On monthly basis, this amounts to N168,866:66.
Apart from the monthly basic salary, there are other perks that each minister will receive at the end of each month. These include motor vehicle fuelling and maintenance allowance of N1, 519,800 (annual value) with a monthly value of N126,650. The vehicle maintenance allowance is 75 per cent of the annual basic salary.
The personal assistant allowance of N506,600 per annum is also payable. This has a monthly value of N42,216.66. This allowance is calculated as 25 per cent of the basic salary.
Each of the senior ministers is entitled to a payment of N1,519,800 for domestic staff. This is 75 per cent of the annual basic salary and on monthly basis amounts to N126, 650.
For entertainment, each of the ministers is entitled to N911,880 annually or N75,990 per month. This is 45 per cent of the annual basic salary.
For utilities, each of the ministers is entitled to 30 per cent of their annual salary which translates to N607,920 per annum or N50,660 a month.
For monitoring, each of the ministers is entitled to 20 per cent of their annual basic salary. This translates to N405,280 per annum or N33,773.33 per month.
For newspapers/periodicals, each of the senior ministers will get 15 per cent of the annual basic salary. This translates to N303,960 per annum or N25,330 per month.
Allowances for their security personnel, medicals and special assistants are also provided. The tour duty allowance is N35,000 per night; the estacode is $900 per night and the leave allowance is 10 per cent of their annual salary or N202,640.
The summation of these annual allowances is N13,374, 240 for each minister excluding the optional vehicle allowance. Yearly, the Federal Government is expected to pay the 24 senior ministers no less than N320,981,760.
Each of the ministers of state, on the other hand, is entitled to N3, 915,160 as housing allowance and N5,872,740 as furniture allowance. Should any of the ministers desire, they are also entitled to N7, 830,320 as motor vehicle allowance, which is a loan repayable by the end of the tenure of the minister.
The annual basic salary of a substantive minister of state is N2,026,400. On monthly basis, this amounts to N168,866:66.
Like their senior counterparts, the state ministers are also entitled to other perks. These include motor vehicle fuelling and maintenance allowance of N1, 468,185 (annual value) with a monthly value of N122,348.

Each of the state ministers is entitled to a payment of N1,468,185 for domestic staff. This is 75 per cent of the annual basic salary and on monthly basis amounts to N122,348.75.
For entertainment, each of the state ministers is entitled to N880,911 annually or N73,409.25 per month. This is 45 per cent of the annual basic salary.
For utilities, each of the ministers is entitled to 30 per cent of their annual salary which translates to N587,274 per annum or N48, 939.50 a month.
For newspapers/periodicals, each of the state ministers will get 15 per cent of the annual basic salary. This translates to N293,637 per annum or N24, 469.75 per month.
Like their senior counterparts, the security personnel, medicals and special assistants are also provided for the state ministers. The tour duty allowance is N30,000 per night; the estacode is $900 per night and the leave allowance is 10 per cent of their annual salary or N195,758.
The summation of these annual allowances for the junior ministers is N12,597,332 for each minister excluding the optional vehicle allowance. Yearly, the Federal Government is expected to pay the 13 junior ministers no less than N163,765,316.

21st Birthday
Surprise It was my 21st birthday and I was on my way to
my fiancée’s flat in London, where she went to university.
She shared it with two of her friends, Diane and Rachel,
Diane was short, attractive and slim with olive skin,
Rachel however was tall and skinny, but still reasonably
attractive. My fiancée’s best friend however was Suzie,
who was on the same course as her and whose best feature

attention in the middle of the room. I didn’t see the point
in arguing and sat down. But no sooner had I sat down then
I felt my arms pulled back behind the chair and heard a
click and I could feel my hands were restrained. I looked
behind me and saw that my hands had been handcuffed
behind the chair. I turned my head back around to protest
and saw Rachel and Suzie were now stood next to Diane,
both also wearing dressing-gowns.
“What do you think you’re playing at?” I said. “There’s
been a slight change in plan” Diane informed me, “We’ve
decided not to take you out after all, as none of us could
afford it. Instead we’re all going to have a cosy night in.”
“Why the handcuffs? And where’s my fiancée?” I
demanded. “Well, as we’re not going out we had to think
of a way to treat you, as it’s still your birthday after
all, and your fiancée kindly agreed to let us have some fun
with you, but we didn’t want you running away, getting
impatient or generally doing anything we don’t want you to,
so we’ve had to handcuff you to the chair.” Rachel
enlightened me. “And to stop your fiancée from interfering,
unfortunately we’ve had to handcuff her to her bed, but
don’t worry, she’s fine, and you’ll get to see her later.
But for now, sit back, do as your told and most
importantly enjoy yourself!” Suzie told me.
With that the three girls undid the ties at the front of
their dressing-gowns and to my amazement, one at a time,
took them off. Rachel was the first to slip out of hers,
revealing herself to be wearing just a pink lacy bra and
matching thong and then doing a little twirl to make sure
I’d got a good view. Diane took hers off next, to reveal a
black push-up bra that gave her a nice cleavage and
matching tie-side briefs, she also gave a little twirl to
give me a good view. Finally Suzie took her dressing-gown
off, revealing a white bra that was struggling to contain her
big breasts and matching underwear that was revealed to be
a G-string upon her completing a twirl. I couldn’t believe
what was happening, my fiancée’s hot friends were stood
in just there underwear infront of me, apparently ready to
give me a good night, something I was more than willing to
