In the end, all they're clamouring for is an opportunity to be in the best position to squander our nation's wealth. |
Sam Smith- Stay All Chris De Burgh's tracks. |
Lol. I saw this kind of crowd yesterday along stadium road. Their office couldn't accomodate the crowd so they had to rent an event centre along the road to accommodate the huge crowd. I wonder why people go through all these just to re-register their lines. I thought there was something called number porting? |
ahaz:You need a functioning brain. Well done to the Cameroonian troops, by God's grace together we shall overcome this evil called boko haram. |
My beloved Akwa United. We did well this season by avoiding the drop. Let's cap that by finishing with a trophy. It will serve as a morale booster for next season. Up Akwa United!! #Edian ubok. |
@OP, I've been looking for a way to stop my excess drinking of these softdrinks, because of its huge risk to good health, now you have just finally given me one strong reason to. Thanks man, you indirectly just saved me #200 everyday. |
Shameless people. I weep for this country Nigeria. |
Goood job! I just hope that is not just to show off to gain public applaud, but to be put into the effective use in combatting the boko haram menace. More strenght to our Military anyway. By God's grace We shall surely conquer. |
Some of us abusing ASUU should also look from this perspective; what if they were really scared of speaking out for fear of their own interest, many would attest to the fact that the imediate past govt. would not condone any act of 'rebelious' policy that would geopardise the interest of it's friends or sympatizers, and we know that most of universities that was setup by the imediate past administration were either owned by one of it's own or by one of it's sympathizers. Under this situation, which of you would speak out and risk losing his source of survival? Mind you I'm not trying to defend them but you should consider yourself in their shoes under such administration where doing things the shady way is the norm. |
The governor of Georgia hasn't told us how much was his share of the amnesty fraud and embezzlement from Kuku, smh. Corruption everywhere even in the western world that claims sainthood. In fact they taught our leaders corruption. Just that no one has got guts to call their bluffs. And they also know how to cover up their as$es properly after they do their shiity businesses. |
CountDracula:This is too harsh. Answer this one. Money has different names !!! In church its called (offering), in school its (fee), in marriage it's called (dowry), in divorce (alimony), when u owe someone its (debt ), when u pay the government (tax), in court (fines), civil servant retirees (pension) boss to workers (salary), master to subordinates (wages), when u borrow from bank (loan), when u offer after a service (tip), to kidnappers (ransom), illegally received in d name of service (bribe). The question is "when a Guy gives it to his girl friend, what do we call it?? Answer __________? |
Why is this newsworthy? So who should they have sent? Only males? And what about the female lawmakers? Who's going to "woo" them into investing?... Mtcheeew. Punch and yeye news. |
Op, I think your report is biased and one sided. Aside the Abacha loot that you, every other alleged scams that you listed are targeted at the present/outgoing government, whereas there are more notorious scams that has occurred before and during our democratic era. And to confirm that is you not pointing out several scams during the president Obasanjo led administration. Or where there no single case of an alleged scam then? And why have you chose to name the subsidy removal as a scam meanwhile it's benefits are still being yielded by Nigerians. Yes there have been alleged corrupt practices in some of our institutions in this present government, but then, what you listed there are mostly allegations that have not been proven yet. And I believe the incoming government will make efforts to probe the matters and lay them to rest. Anyway, I don't want to debate scams in this country now. But I'm just saying my opinion about your report. You can do a better research on the topic and see for yourself. NB, I'm a core buharist. ![]() |

mezebel:Lol, shebi I become homo because I no talk say the girls them fine ni.... Ok you fine. |
I believe physical beauty isn't the only criteria for selecting the contestants, otherwise some of them, especially the girls have nothing to do with beauty. Most of the guys rock though. |
Why not verify what was the cause of the explosion before you come here to raise alarm. Because judging from the distance you took this shot from, it's obvious you're speculating the cause. |
I am ashamed for this country, so we don't have security agents to do the right thing? In a sane country that man should be cooling off in a police cell for what he just did. |
Good margin! Bring on the so called Pdp stronghold and APC will still beat them to it. Change is here!!! SAI D GENERAL!! |
@Ewuro4 I get your point. Though I'm not saying he should leave or stay, I'm just weighing the pros and cons of the 2 options he's got. Too many conflicting ideas here, and I'm not even sure the young man has gotten the solution he was seeking for by opening this thread. BTW, what's your problem with babyosisi You knw her somewhere?Pls lalasticlala should move this thread to the FrontPage so others can share their ideas with the op. |
babyosisi:Good advice. But if you say he should stay, and he eventually manages through this year and by next year he sits for another jamb examination and peradventure doesn't make it again, what then? Sounds like loosing on both sides, don't you think? He's 23 for heavens' sake, he should be making money working not sitting around waiting for help from people. |
Ewuro4:And what is wrong with him being a houseboy? Though I would advice him to leave the house get something doing just like he used to, by so doing he might be able to save up some more money, cos I know how it feels to be jobless and idle, considering that he used to work and make money before now. And I believe that's why he's gambling because he seems not to be getting the kind of money he used to get while working, I'm not saying it's good to gamble though. Just my thoughts. |
