My brother, I had to return my Starlink. It was really frustrating me. I strongly believe mine was a defective one. The dish, I believe, was the problem. It looked used. On delivery, It was very dusty and had markings on it like it's been used. The cable and router looked very new though.

The good thing about Starlink is that, if you are not satisfied with it and you are still within the 30day window, you can easily return and ask for a refund, and that was what I did. The whole process doesn't take more than 5 minutes. I simply cancelled my subscription and ticked the option of returning my hardware. I was sent a confirmation of my cancellation immediately via mail, and I was informed that eligiblity of hardware return is being checked. Within 3 minutes, I received another mail that contains the RMA(Return Merchandise Authorization), it also contains the waybill and the supplementary document to printout and attach to the Starlink pack. I have returned the package to DHL. It should get to Starlink latest Wednesday.

So, once Starlink receives the package, they inspect it to make sure everything is in order. Then the refund process begins.

Them no fit help with another one?

Nigeria, which is in Northern hemisphere, the Starlink dish defaults to the North, so find a position on your roof that gives a clear view of the skies without any obstruction, especially to the North.
You can use a digital compass to find the North position in your location even before your Starlink arrives. That gives you an idea as to where to place the dish.

I wasn't gonna get Starlink. I was fine on FibreOne. 65 Down 65 Up. Works perfectly. Till dey kept me offline for almost 3 days. After they had kept me offline previously for over 16 hours. I had enough.

As I'm typing this, I can hear wind blowing like rain wants to fall and I already know my Starlink will soon start misbehaving. PAINNN!!!

Wahala! Well I got Hypenet and Airtel for back ups. Till middle of month before the thing arrive since 18th of last month oo

Contrary to what some people believe, a lot of Nigerians are ordering Starlink. In fact, the day mine was delivered, there were 6 other Starlink in the DHL delivery van, plus some other Starlink accessories.

The main reason I got mine was that 27 ISP's I contacted don't have any service in my area at all. Bro Even 50mbs is enough for me.

Those guys be stretching my delivery also. From 24-2 March don turn 9-15th March. Na Wa oo

You will probably receive the Shipped notification within the next two days.

I ordered on the 11th, received the notification on the 21st. The Starlink got to DHL's office in Abuja on the 24th, and delivered on the 27th. If I was residing in Lagos, I would gotten it on the 23rd.

😂😂😂 I am not sure why it is happening though. But I noticed I have only had one outage, which was less than a second, due to obstruction, for the past 43minutes since I rebooted the Starlink dish. So you might want to suggest to those users to reboot their Starlink, not the WiFi router.

EDIT: Unfortunately, I am still those outages. I need someone to confirm if this happens without rainfall or bad weather.

In this day and age, there is little to nothing to have your phone rooted unlike before, most of these options now come baked in. Even the almighty Pixel OS adds customisations now.

So, Starlink is increasing its monthly pricing in some areas and reducing in others in the US, starting 24th April. I just hope all these ones will not touch us here in Naija.

RV pricing also increasing from $135 to $150

By the way, mine just landed in Lagos this morning, according to DHL tracking status.

Read that starlink notified people in US that they know they used torrent and if they continue their account and connection could be terminated and could go to court.

Now, in US torrenting is a crime, but in Nigeria its legal and we can download without vpn on it without wahala.

That's why I'm asking if anyone has used it torrent and what was the experience during and after

I got starlink and used my dstv mount too. By this I mean, I removed dstv dish. No more giving them 14k monthly to get football channels.
With starlink you can use iptv which is cheaper and watch all dstv channels plus 18k other channels around the world

Baba please can you share how you got it to stay, a picture of how it's mounted would really help.
