The solution is simple---STOP BEGGING!!!
African leaders should be bold enough to develop their countries. Those living in USA do not have two heads.
/ African leaders again! Haba! Leaders dont make countries CITIZENS do! You make all these foolish finger pointing comments without taking responsibility for you and the hapless masses. The masses are responsible for the failure of our country. Just drive on our roads and you’ll know the kind of people we have in this country. |

Becoming a President in U.S. Africa is not a feat most advanced countries respect.
Most are African leaders are nothing more than thieves, election riggers, tribalistic, xenophobic. Poor man pickin, direct your anger to your papa. |

djseanjohn77: Someone that worked in the same Nigeria and was able to build a house in Lekki, is definitely not poor. Most times, it's pressure from their wives. I have friends who are now regretting their actions as the omen found better jobs while the men who were heads of department have to stoop so low to do menial jobs.....with lower pay. They were the sole provider, but the case has changed as such there are 2 captains in the ship. Some have even separated temporary for because of unending crisis. Hmmm very true and a very common experience. These men won’t make 60 if not careful. It is why we have too many broken families over there. Infact the dynamics between men and women have changed. Marriage has become obsolete and highly risky for a man. Goodluck to people sha! |

SIRTee15: 5K job in america is very easy to get. canada of 10 years ago could easily offer him 5k, but canada of today is no somehow. forget uk or europe, 5k job in those countries na war. another country that can easily offer him 5k is australia.
The only way to break even in uk is thru loan, they offer generous loan with a reasonable time to pay. That was how I built my second house in naija and I paid back the loan within 4 yrs. canada make sense only if u have a stable job and u are PR- however, stable job is no longer guaranteed in present unstable canada economy. Trudeau almost wrecked that once prosperous country b4 he left.
but selling a 60million naira house to gamble it in uk no make sense at all. That's 30 thousand pounds, even british will look at him like 'is he cray?' I am talking about today while you are talking about yesterday. Things have changed my friend. Going abroad will offer a man zero benefits in the next 5 years. The west don cast!!! |

smallsmall: Nope, the man is someone with foresight! Is it not better to "suffer" in the UK (with stable electricity, good Schools for his children, smooth roads, good hospitals, etc) than to allow some filthy, uncultured, smelly Cow-fkcukers to come and molest your wife and children, while tying you and asking you to watch at gun point?
He cares and is planning for the future of his children. Now, whether his Wife will, or not abuse that foresight and take advantage of the man once they settle in the UK, ... it is most likely.
But he would better himself all the same, it is better than being kidnapped for ransom or being shot by one Teenage Fulani Herdsman. This one that they are asking for #1.5Billion Naira ransom, what if the Govt refuse to pay , how will his House hep him at that point? What if the Terrorists even collect the money and still kpai him? What if he ran inside a Church and they still come in and Kpai his whole family there? What if he ran into the House of the President and..... These Terrorist Fulani Herdsmen are becoming to emboldened, Walahi. You have a very faulty and perverse line of thought! Chai !!! What is the probability of these negative thoughts happening to the average Nigerian? Wow! You people live in fantasy land. You will experience serious depression and hopelessness in that UK, and your hardworking friends you left in Nigeria will be miles ahead of you. |

buygala: Clowns...They all know what to do to kill this scourge in the shortest time, but instead they choose this useless grandstanding appearing busy while doing nothing
Best way to handle this matter is to:
1....... Immediately amend the existing penal.code laws to make banditry and kidnapping capital without any option
2.....Aiding, abetting Bandits and kidnappers should share the same death penalty without any option...
2....Kidnapping, Banditry, aiding and abetting them to be heard by special tribunals which shall hear and conclude the case within 30 days max, upon which the accused if found guilty, has a right to an accelerated appeal which must be concluded within 6 months,
3...If the Appellate Courts uphold the conviction, the accused person should be executed in public within 7 days of the final Appellate judgment
They know ....but will rather choose to take steps that won't lead anywhere.. Why ain’t you or your papa in the House of Representatives or the senate? |

1.repatriation 2.retirement 3.health issues 4.drugs related issues 5.lack of focus 5.mental health issues
I am sure you fall into any of these ones You forgot CHOICE! All that glitters is not gold and western nations are incredibly overhyped. China’s emergence has completely changed everything and they (western nations) are struggling badly, economically. Everything is affordable except accommodation. Housing cost will drain all your earnings and savings become impossible . Many Nigerians are stuck abroad due to lack of funds/choice. Or unreasonable fear of Nigeria… |
