Religion / Re: Psalm 109: Why Is It In The Bible? by IbegbuPI: 9:09am On Oct 20, 2011
Mortals perish due to ignorance. Christ never changed a thing about the nature of God. He rather affected three major areas of relationships with God. When Jesus Christ walked on the surface of the earth, 613 commandments existed. At mount sinai, the decalogue emerged. When Christ came, he reduced the confusion of Laws into 2: submit to God with your all (not 10%), be sacrificial in care for neighbour. Paul explained this better that no man can please God by obeying the laws and that we are sustained by devine help (GRACE). secondly Christ brought about remission of sin--baptism and penance. than bull sacrifice. thirdly he released to mankind Holy Ghost that every man can access God directly without intermediation of earthly prophets as was the case when he walked on earth.

our authorities ask us NEVER TAKE LAWS INTO YOUR OWN HAND. Jesus Christ taught us NEVER REVENGE.  that revenge is for God. The message of Psalm 109 should not be misunderstood. curses affect only those who deserve them. read proverbs and ecclesiastes. David merely took his pains to God. In as much as Saul had right to protect his office; he had no right to take life without cause. David responded appropriately as contained in ROMANS 13, and did not directly fight his BOSS. as one reply informed us, people have invoked Ps 109 on Obama, but Obama is still there. Mind you some prayers do not cross the ceiling. God is a righteous judge and will ignore your volumes of ps 109 prayer if undeserved. if you disobey the lawful directives of your boss and he in turn hates you, any evil prayer will rather get him promoted than sacked or otherwise. but if he hates you because you have eyes and nose, then more than the prescriptions of ps 109 will hit him if you run to God for help.

imagine yourself a faithful husband who returns home to meet his best friend on top of his wife; a neighbour of yours ganging up with outsiders to kill you as to evade payment of money borrowed from you; etc. if you invoke Psalm 109 in similar or worse betrayals God will answer. He may not obliterate the lineage but He will free you from your friend's snare.

Thanks
Family / Re: Am I Paranoid? by IbegbuPI: 12:51pm On Jul 29, 2011
My dear, your story is natural. You are killing your marriage by yourself. If you do not correct yourself, then divorce will soon come. You are the problem, not your wife. Women are weaker sex not because their bones are not strong but because they are very weak in resisting evil. You dont need to smoke. If you beat her, you worsen the whole issue and bid peace bye. Silence it is. Not a moping type. Silence backed with action. To be a man is not to carry prick. But to withstand emotional pain without letting your neighbour see the pain through you.
1. Stop helping her in the kitchen. This is marriage NOT COURTSHIP.
2. Stop playing dirty with her. Your jokes must be controlled. Kids are coming
3. Stop being her father. You are a husband. Let her seek out a job, assist if she asks you to. Do not be a fool, wait for her to ask for your help in starting biz before you do. When she starts earning money the real challenge will come. Church grouping, office guys, biz guy that will give credit etc
4. Learn to ignore her food even when you are hungry. Forget her pussy, you wont die but do not play out because God watches.
5. Love her, do not PAMPER her. Pet her but do not bathe her.
6. What do you need her SORRY for. Be in the house only physically, yet be completely out in real emotional detachment, and a real SORRY will come.
7. If you need respect from your wife then work for it. For now, you are a boy friend not a husband. From the way you sound people will soon come and manage your home for you.
8. Every woman wants to control her husband. It is the conflict that results that usually leads to divorce. Those who refuse divorce die early or get estranged. However if you are man enough from day 1, then you are sure of sleeping at home with both eyes closed. You must be crazy to be playing a farting joke with your wife. SORRY.
Dig your grave and she will bury you; & move on.
THANKS.

Some of you guys just talk without hearing yourselves. You don't break away from a criminal friend with force.

GEJ is not Nigeria. Not one man show. But Nigeria's burden is on his head. He is very smart. If you know what he knows, you will ask him to move even more cautiously. GEJ needs both Clark & AMAECHI
Politics / Re: Buhari: Thieving Elite As Bad As Militants Such As Mend, Boko Haram Etc by IbegbuPI: 2:25pm On Jun 30, 2011
@nuclearboy
Thanks for your native intelligence.
OBJ is equally guilty. Though IBB looks an enigma.
Truely Buhari is too little before these two kings of criminals. Buhari means well for Nigeria but he lacks the intellect to manage the complexity called Nigerians. He has always been a pun in Nigeria's power chess board. His biggest nightmare was his inability to retire IBB in October, of course the drug baron pushed him aside in August and climbed the podium. IBB & OBJ equals Nigeria aches.

Family / Re: As Parents, Do We Buy Into This? by IbegbuPI: 7:05am On Jun 28, 2011
Some responses above simply trivialized the depth of message behind the post. The poster did not say you should give your kids bread crust to prove you ain't pampering. There is marked difference between caring, pampering & spoiling.

The society is modelled by it's government. Yet the society forms the government. Yes, there is no perfect society but Nigeria is far behind average.

Our problems are triple-faceted.
1. Nepotism garnished by lack of social contract: Eg. if you are made Board Chairman, can you afford to leave your unemployed brother out on a job he failed the interview though he is well certified to do it. Can you afford to hope on pension when those before you are slumping on queues while waiting for stipends.

2. Culture of exalted VANITY. The average Nigerian likes being noticed. A culture of party. Some borrow to throw a bash at marriage only to retire into penury thereafter. Some buy car worth N3m though the salary is N75K yet live in rented apartment. Just to announce his arrival. Everybody is in a haste to make this announcement that almost every Nigerian pursues desire than need. That is why a Nigerian pastor will buy a jet while his flock admires from their slum, hoping to announce their jeep sooner. Steal & announce, but don't get cought.

3. Sense of authority & lawlessness. The Nigerian is always in control. It is the weak that goes to prison. The Nigerian is a bribery merchant. He sends emissory to the police in the bedroom & runs to the village square and shouts: "stone the police because he has taken bribe". He feels fulfilled that he jumped queue & got his car tank filled before his NEIGHBOUR. The joy is not the tank filled but his neighbour that noticed him as superior being. Where the chase to fortune fails in expected time, the Nigerian turns to juju, to expo, election rigging, child trafficking etc just to announce something. African Magic. These days self appointed pastors in chase for authority & wealth dine with demons as to contrive healing.

The reality of the foregoing traverse the family. Not all, but majority of Nigerians square into the classification. In a bid to make the said announcement some Nigerian mother will buy result for her kid, the Nigerian father will sell his house to keep his child away from prison no matter the crime. Remember, Chief BANKOLE was not interested in the sons offenses, but that he should be released. It is a culture. In our larger society the Hausa man sees nothing wrong with a northerner looting the treasury but sees everything wrong with the Igbo man looting the treasury. Imprison him OPC, BOKO whatever etc comes fighting.

Nigeria is a contraption. The nigerian is different from his American / European counterpart. If he goes to UK, he joins the queue. If he is in Abuja he jumps queue. Arrest him, he bribes up to the PRESIDENCY to pull the policeman's uniform.

Why do cultism thrive. Mosque cultism. Church cultism. Students' cultism. In some re-tone of unionism, every union pursues lawlessness to protect its members. If the Nigerian president has to be upright, how about the members of his cult who made him president. Will he stop them from drug peddling. If the Nigerian man fails to give his son or daughter job when he is in position, who will feed him at old age when he no longer works. If a governor fails to traffic funds & build manson oversea, how will his ego be massaged many years after office. It is society failure. Whenever we stop extolling ill gotten wealth, Nigeria will start getting healed.

MAYBE Until the OIL finishes or a radical tinkering of our constitution denouncing ethnicity for citizenship is done, our society will continue to compare itself blindly with western societies.

Education / Re: Okorocha Orders Refund Of School Fees by IbegbuPI: 9:01pm On Jun 21, 2011
It is not the zeal that matters but the WILL. It is not 13-point agenda that elicits success but the focused agenda.

Okorocha will succeed because he knows the meaning of serving people. He has always dreamt of playing in this court of servant leaders, now he has the opportunity he thought was not coming. Thanks to credible poll, that was nearly undermined.

Guys, you don't need money to create money. All you need is asset: functional brains, motivating needs, and peaceful critics.

Rochas is in a haste to prove a point: that his philanthropy is no fluke, that he has innate concern to reduce suffering. He needs this moment to prove that he can drive the pedal, no matter the constraints.

Politics / Re: PDP Should Suspend Tambuwal & Declare His Office Vacant Or Impeach Him by IbegbuPI: 9:02am On Jun 16, 2011
I think there is need for true federalism. The north will resist the equation of their representative strength with the south. How do you start the lengthy process of making North 20 states & south 20 states.presently it is 19 vs 17. How about the skewed number of arbitrary inequalities in wards, LGA. When OBJ quietly tried to give SE a sixth state. SE bungled it, by refusing to agree with itself. Of course other regions capitalized on SE disunity to multiply demands for states. The matter became dirty politics & died. Even David Mark used state creation to win re-election, himself knows NO ADDITIONAL STATE WILL BE CREATED. The north will agree if any such creation will further their arbitrary advantage.

GEJ tried to establish a power balance by boldly denying South East speaker position despite all the tantrums thrown at him. He is not PDP & can do no less than congratulate Tambuwal. He is not PDP chairman. He is president of all parties & persons. The only way to remove Tambuwal is to rope him into fraud. Are you even sure his removal will assure the emergence of someone of SW. Already the North is happy with the distortion as it confirms their superiority in matters of naija politics. In two years time, a plot will emerge to impeach GEJ. & Sambo installed. Naija won't break. Have you forgotten what Tambuwal said in his phoney apology to PDP leadership that his emergence was a stroke from above (God), Of course just as GEJ came from GOD too, TO DENY NORTH PRESIDENCY.

Mind you, the North is not interested in breaking naija. They are proudly born to rule. Whether they rule well or badly. Think up other strategy of getting a balance. Revenue sharing, yes. Community policing, recreation of nigeria into six state structure where each state is the present geo-region. Breaking nigeria cannot help anybody. The integration is too deep for any re-gluing.
But true federation won't come from any sovereign conference. To institute a sovereign conference equals suspending constitution. No president will do that. Weakening the center through Revenue sharing will make good start.
Politics / Re: Bankole, The Sin Bearer - Sam Omatseye by IbegbuPI: 12:24pm On Jun 15, 2011
May our dark days be short.

For those clamouring for the Sainthood of BANKOLE; are they suggesting that part of the duties of NASS is to arbitrarily increase the allowances of their members to say N1b per person per month, where national treasury is dry, they borrow and satisfy their large appetite.

When BANKOLE returned to meet the loan decision, why did he not show his anger, by at least resigning. He cannot preside over a looting regime and still desire good name.

NASS, PRESIDENCY, JUDICIARY, INEC etc are supposedly independent and should have direct charge on federation income. Therefore each of them should appropriate to itself whatever it likes. Nigeria can go broke, who cares. A packet of BIC or pen can be bought at N600000, who cares. Every year TV sets can be bought at any satisfying amount,

May our dark days be short.
Education / Re: He Got 2.2 In Sch And His Dad Became Hostile To Him. by IbegbuPI: 5:34pm On Jun 12, 2011
Life & living are complicated, deep, but vane. If life were so easy, no sane man will jump out from labour market to open a church of his own, Jesus Inc., collecting tithes & lying about God just to eat. Our late Fawehinmi did not even make 2.2, he was great in every sense of greatness.
Your friend has not told you all the truth. Beyond his grade, there are other issues with his dad. He does't appear meek. He may be the type that talks back at his father. Maybe wastes too much to achieve too little. Jumping out of your father's house because you have graduated without sorting issues will worsen matter. You may earn all the money there is, yet unhappy. If the dad was over-expecting, it becomes his lot to calmly explain reality to the father. Some mismanage their dad's joy and get away with it, many perish thereafter. A dad is ones God on earth, especially the dad that cares and trains. Success is not about the grade you come out with, not even the amount of cash you garner BUT THE INTEGRITY YOUR IMAGE CONJURES TO YOUR FAMILY, IMMEDIATE NEIGHBOUR, AND COMMUNITY.
Romance / Re: What Do You Look For When Checking For A Life Partner? by IbegbuPI: 8:46am On Jun 11, 2011
Look for three things
1. one you can stand side by side in public without feeling off the moon
2. one you can quarrel with & settle without hearing it on street / family corners
3. one that won't be fighting with snakes & flying above your bed while you sleep.
DON'T MIND THOSE LOOKING FOR LARGE BOOBS & ASS, ONCE THERE IS A HOLE THAT GETS WET, MOVE ON IF THE ABOVE TRIO ARE SURE
Politics / Re: The Truth Behind Bankole's Detention! by IbegbuPI: 9:37pm On Jun 10, 2011
Kindly accept my apology for sounding insolent in that post of yesterday. Well, the truth is most of our leaders steal without conscience. Assuming that they use their loot to erect factories & good businesses in Naija, one could ignore. Try & visit Lafia to see a round about built with #80m. Remember Ibori, Dariye etc, Bankole will walk free soon, not because he is not guilty but because our rule of law is suspect.
You are entitled to your feel, but my prayer is that Bankole be jailed for even a day; for the sake of our law books & better referrals for future lessons to contract mark ups. Thanks

Properties / Re: My Landlord Wants Me Out. by IbegbuPI: 10:38am On Jun 06, 2011
My dear, do not feel bad at all. It is Nigerian to trust besides you can't live without trusting. Yes, one has to be careful but you can never be careful enough all the time. At times like yours, if you demanded receipt, the man would intimidate you even more psychologically. But learn to make critical payments thru banks - direct lodgement & keep teller or vide Cheque.
Your first challenge is raising money for new flat, I know that was what you sort to avoid When you agreed to the two years. Unfortunately you have no evidence that he accepted money from you since his quit notice.
The man has you on the neck. Play a psychological war back to him. First visit him and blow all soft grammar to arrest his conscience. Before then call him with a phone that records call & talk about the cash you gave. Start with "oga , Good afternoon" then fight for evidence. After that, write him a letter using any affordable lawyer, State your case, don't lie. Claim wrongful quit notice & wrongful refusal to accept annual rental, since you have no evidence of his so called suit. Then he should melt. Where it fails, pack out. He may be a cult member. Remember there is no rule of law in naija yet. Thanks
