Health / Re: Woman Delivers Tortoise, Baby Girl; It’s A Hoax, Doctors Say by IbitoruA(f): 1:29pm On Apr 14, 2011
She fainted after the delivery and we have to revive her with prayers

Revive her with prayers ke! haven't they heard of CPR before. If the poor woman had died, I'm sure they would have told her husband (and maybe other children) that it was the will of God.
There is a reason God gave us the brains and intelligence to develop contemporary medicine: So we don't have to fall for crap like that.
Travel / Re: Nigerians In Minnesota by IbitoruA(f): 2:28pm On Feb 26, 2011
naijameric:

WOW Minnesota is a dead state because the people there are so tight with their social circles from elementary school. IT's hard to break in and make friends unless you have connections. THe reason being not many people travel much if this is their home state. They usually believe the whole world revolves around them. The streets are clean and gold, but that strips away a child's ability to understand struggle if everything is continuously spoon fed to him. THe weather is cold so it really sucks that one can't just run out like persay run out barefoot in the street of Lagos. I miss Naija but I wouldn't mind connecting with some Nigerians in MN. Am so lonely and bored all the time!
I know exactly what you mean! I live in a really small town in MN and there are exactly 6 Nigerians there, all members of my family. People stare at you like you're an alien and they act so weird.
P.S. they are only interested in hunting, fishing, and farming. abeg how many Nigerians give a flying monkey about hunting deer or ice fishing sad
Politics / Re: Nigerian Militants In Libya by IbitoruA(f): 8:25pm On Feb 24, 2011
if i didn't hear the reporter correctly, i'm pretty sure i can trust the hearing of everyone in my living room who clearly heard Nigerians, not Nigeriens
againstGEJ:

They probably meant Nigeriens and not Nigerians.
Politics / Nigerian Militants In Libya by IbitoruA(f): 3:05pm On Feb 24, 2011
I was watching a report on the Libya crisis on CNN yesterday and imagine my surprise when the reporter said that the Libyan president, Muammar Gadhafi had Chad, Sudanese and NIGERIAN militants in his employ. So the situation in Nigeria has become so bad that our militancy has become international shocked

blood covenant! chei! do u want to die? shebi you know what will happen if you try it?
1. if one of you dies, the other will die but even if by a miracle, u live, you wont be able to have any other relationship bcs if u try it you are dead.
2. If one of you cheats and the other person finds out, you wont be able to leave the relationship or else you die.
3. If the love dies, you'll be trapped because your "love" is forever.
4. Don't you believe in God? if u do you wont get yourself involved in that sort of satanic thing.
