Thank you for your reply. I am applying for a PhD and I have with me an acceptance letter which stands like an admission letter. PhD as any start date but I would prefer starting January. With my DAAD letter, I can get an invitation letter from my prof for Jan date to compliment my acceptance letter but I want to be sure how long it takes to get a visa interview date. I have read that DAAD award gives one upper hand and after interview it takes just 2 weeks to get the visa. It won’t sound well if I ask my supervisor to write another invitation letter from me having realized I can’t make the previous date I pick. Gurus in the house, any advice. And is visa interview still rolling out ? All of my document are ready, passport expires 2023 or so Thegamingorca: |

MENG u don’t need supervisors MSc u do. Do with this you know that and which make you further as PhD. You get a cowork for some MENG. Both us fine and irrespective of the sch you go, so far you are good, you will get a job after studies NwanyiOkpa: 1 Like |

Truth be told and my advice to you next time is to try and be brief when asking questions. It is better to have replies as long as this than questions. Now my advice or suggestion is 1. You can only write this on SOP during u I eraity application 2. Try convince your HOD to please issue you a letter that you are almost done with your studies as you only have your thesis awaiting completion. 3. Tell him/her to please issue something like a statement of results issued by department not PG school with research still awaiting. Convince the HOD as they don’t do such with much pleading from ur supervisor. You juice it by saying you have am awaiting PhD position etc. AkeemTy: |

With your job here at Nigeria, you can apply for a second Masters MENG as phd doesn’t come easily (supervisor issues). While go for a Bsc when you have completed a second degree. With second masters you can write that you intend to learn about new use of machines (technology) to make u more useful in ur work (LOE). Best of luck darrywhyte: |

Yes, medicals such as X-rays are analyzed at Kenya and IOM gets such results a day or tomorrow after sending them so Q-life as to be on queue for days to get such results. Immediately you drop blood, results is already gone been generated before the close of the day and all they have to wait for is the X-ray which after getting less 24hrs they upload it to cic. hiambenson: |

No sympathy in admission is either u meet requirements or you have a strong SOP even with low CGPA. I read about a 2.2 talking about admission at Canada or Germany. For those that have a low CGPA I will advice you write a very strong SOP as to why you want to study the course and it would better you. A strong motivating letter can make you get admission even if it’s Germany or anywhere. But remember, meets minimum requirements. jessyeve: 1 Like |

Add or don’t add that doesn’t stop them from not giving you admission if you merit and meet requirements but if you don’t it’s a No No No jessyeve: |

Q-Life Medicals takes time b4 uploading the results to cic but IOM did the next day and I think that’s why it’s quite expensive. Mine was on Tuesday 23 SmallerB: 1 Like |

Have you consider deferring your admission cox I don’t think it is advisable to use a visit visa for schooling. gunvi: |

Having HIV does not necessarily means rejection, drugs are developed for such people to live a wonderful life. However, viruses easily transmitted by breath, touch etc are not allowed.—-IOM DOCTOR NwanyiOkpa: |

Morning guys, here I’m confused. Do you mean you submitted your application or passport. If Application and still yet to hear from them, my advice is that you pray and still wait on their decision. Well as I can say maybe you’ve been considered. But if passport submission and no return, I have no explanation Babarinde146: |
