His/her thread was the first I saw on here about suicide. This moniker has not been seen since then. I checked his profile this evening and he has not surfaced. I just hope he didn't go on with it. I feel really sad.

Now, the point of opening this thread is to warn people to stop trivializing suicide threads. Even if you doubt the sincerity of the person, give your piece of advice or keep mute instead of encouraging them to go on with it. A lot of people are really going through tough times and when they mention their suicidal intents here, your empathy may be all that would make all the difference.

As for those who are joking with suicide for attention, try and grow brains. When, God forbid, you run into real depression, people may not take you seriously by then. Let us know what to joke with or not joke with.

Depression is not something to joke with.
