What is the total cost for building the house. |
micomoh:Can this house really be build and completeend for #12 million including cost of land. Seems a lot of house for that amount of money. Would have been nice to see the completed version both in and out side of the completed build. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Yes I am a male. I enjoyed the program on africa magic during my recent trip to Nigeria that's why am drawn to Africa magic channel. |
Nnachi404:As they say you can't have it all. I have heard of iptv but don't know much about it. How does it work? Are nigerian tv channel like Africa magic available on iptv. |
Unionised:What if for example I want to stream Africa magic channel, I should just type that in Google. |
Unionised:I have sky already so viewing dstv would only be occasion viewing so if I can stream it over the net that would be perfect. How can I go about streaming dstv online in London. |
Unionised:How can I go about streaming nigerian DSTV online and what is the cost involved? As dstv is satellite dish, how about and would it work if I get someone back in nigeria to subscribe to dstv and activate the dstv box in nigeria then post me box and card to use in the uk. If this me method is possible all I then need to do is use my current sky dish for the dstv box or maybe use a motorised dish system. |
I was in nigeria recently and really enjoyed watching stations like Africa magic on DSTV. Now am back in London, am wondering if it's possible to get or watch nigerian dstv in London. |
So any info with regards to arik airline and power bank. |
fados4sure:It's a direct flight. In general though, are passengers allow to use or take power bank on arik flights. |
fados4sure:Travelling from London to naija. |
Hi, all. I have searched on Arik airline for information regarding my question but can't find any information. I will be using Arik airline soon and as it is a long flight I need my tablet to keep me entertained during the flight. Am thinking of buying a power bank battery to charge my tablet and phone on the flight but before I buy it I want to make sure that Arik airline will allow power bank to be taken or used on their flight. Any information from you guys will be very helpful. |
munchfani:I know of the London naija high commission, I just wanted to know whether one just need to take the old passport to the high commission to get it renew or does one need to complete the online form first. |
I am not that familiar with nigerian passport system so I hope to get the information I need from the naira land community. If a passport is about to or has expired, how does one go about renewing it. Is it simply a case of filling out a form like a first passport style or is there like a renewal for that needs to be completed. Thanks in advance. |
Poultry ( layers ) or fish farming is one area that I have been advised to invest in. How lucrative is this type of business? How much capital roughly is needed to set up such business to start with on a small to medium scale? |
How profitable or viable is starting business selling engine oil, auto spare part and generator. How much can start such business and profit daily margin. |
How much roughly would it cost including land to build one bedroom (four units) terrace bungalow similar to the one in the link below. https://www.nairaland.com/1141510/1-bedroom-terrace-bungalow-oakwood One much could each unit roughly rent or sold for once built. A surveyor gave me a rough estimate of 4.5 million to build and addition al 800 thousand for cost of land. He said each unit rent for 72 thousands and that each unit to sell between 1.6 to 1.7 million. What are your options on this estimate. |
IGALA4LIFE:I don't doubt your sincerity and I am sure you are a person of good character but the behaviour of some nigerians makes it hard to distinguish the 419 from the non 419. The bad people gives the good people a bad name unfortunately which is really sad. |
Rooneyboy:If I go for property, my idea was to build on a land like one bedroom terrace of four and sell it on instead of renting it out that would take years to recover back. You hit the nail on the head, as you said if you residents of nigeria are scared to buy land, us nigerians abroad should be double scared. This is sad to see because people that could easily invest in the country to create jobs are probably holding back because of the way people behaviour with money. |
renshawolami:One of my idea that is on my list is actually something alongside agriculture (well animal farm or animal feed production) as I know someone who is doing animal nutrition at uni and was thinking of investing in that direction (animal farming or feed production) to give her a helping hand on the career ladder. Well she would be running it for me as a manager. What is holding me back is the behaviour of Nigerians when it comes to money. |
ITbomb:In general, is there a good return on real estate rentage. What about building houses to sale on striaght away, is this also viable options. Buying and re-selling of land. How viable ? |
I have come across few articles stating that nigerians living abroad should not forget his or her father land and therefore established a business in nigeria to help with the high unemployment in the country. Some will and others will not agree with me but I for one ( as someone who is fortunate to be nigerian and also settled abroad) think that, nigerians abroad not wanting to invest in his or her father land is not the issue, but the main issues that may discourage nigerians abroad from establishing a business in nigeria is down to the amount of untrustworthy people, corruption and bad infrastructure. With regards to bad infrastructure. I think nigerians economy will grow largely with just simple constant electricity, with good and regular electricity businesses which rely on electricity can trade longer and staff will work longer hours earning more money, people will come out more at night to spend money in entertainment venues because regular electricity would mean people will feel safer at night due to street light. In terms of dealing with untrustworthy people. it is unfortunate that the bad people in nigerian are giving the good people of nigeria a bad name and reputation. It is so hard now adays to trust people in nigerian because people just seems to be money hungry. A nigerian abroad wanting to establish a business in nigerian to create employment opportunities and investment for his or herself can't be in two places at once but because people are so money hungry it is hard for a nigerian abroad to start a business in nigeria and put family or outsider in charge to run the business on behalf of a nigerian abroad. There is nothing wrong with buying a fleet of car to use as taxi and pay someone salary to drive the taxi. Here due lack of transparency of some people a driver can make 10,000 naira a day for example and only say he made 5,000 naira, this is why investor choose hire purchase to protect their investment. I for one as a nigerian fortunate to also have abroad nationality would like to invest in nigeria by establishing some sort of business that creates jobs to help the nigerian economy grow but as one can't live and also be in nigeria at the same time to run a business on the ground, are there businesses or investment a nigeria abroad can invest in without ending up with egg on his face. By investment, I mean, properties, animal farming and so on. P.S. As the Sunny Ade song (the way forward goes), nigerian can only move forward in the right direction if nigeria itself as a country gives itself a good reputation on the world stage, which in turns will benefit the people of nigeria. |
Richogroup:Okay please ask for me. Thanks |
Richogroup:Thanks. In terms of the manchinary equipment you listed, how much naira is needed to cover cost of all machine equipment. |
To the people who suggested piggery as oppose to poultry, does this mean poultry layers or broilers are less profitable than piggery. Likewise, is poultry more risky in terms of mortality, disease etc than piggery. |
Richogroup:Thanks for your reply. How much roughly would be needed to get a poultry feed investment off the ground. What equipment would equipments would be needed for this type of business. |
Any input from any one |
Hello all. I got someone who is studying animal nutrition at university in nigeria and given the lack of prospect for graduates when finished studying, I am thinking of ways to give this person a better career prospects by investing in animal feed production or animal farming in either (snail, fish, poultry layer, broilers) given this person line of study is animal nutrition. I am therefore on here to gather as much insight into animal farming or feed farming production to get a clear feasibility to determine if such investment is good or not. which of animal feed production or animal farming in either (snail, fish, poultry layer, broilers) is most and least lucrative. Which of animal feed production or animal farming in either (snail, fish, poultry layer, broilers) is most and least capital intensive Which of animal feed production or animal farming in either (snail, fish, poultry layer, broilers) is most and least risky in terms of mortality etc. What are the steps need to get animal feed production or animal farming in either (snail, fish, poultry layer, broilers) off the ground. thank you for your time in advance |
Afternoon all. Recently, I have been thinking of what would be best and lucrative to establish in Ibadan as investment, but it occurs to me that since someone I know really well is coming toward the end of her animal nutrition study at university. I am therefore thinking that given her animal nutrition background that it would be a good idea for me to invest in some sort of animal agriculture farming (poultry or fish or even animal feed production depending which is more lucrative) for her to run for me as a manager. I would therefore like some input / advice from anyone who is into poultry, fishing or animal feed production. What I would like to know are: 1. What is more lucrative in nigeria between poultry (layer or meat poultry), fishing and animal feed production? 2. Which of the above is more risky in terms of mortality etc and more capital intensive? 3. What is a rough estimate to establish ? |
blank:How does one bedroom terrace sounds like face me face you |
1stCitizen:Clothing seems like a good idea as now that naija eyes have open to western world where I am they want to wear western gear. But was there not a ban on importing clothing. When you said send cloth to the person do you mean brand new or second hand clothing. How about if the person sell things like ice block/ pure water as naija is a hot country, find a supplier to them eggs to sall, sell of phone accessories. |
