PoliticsRe: 2027: ‘Peter Obi Can Only Get VP Candidate Slot’, Adeyanju Says, Gives Reasons by IbnB: 10:28pm On Jun 11, 2025
NewDigitalWorld:
A lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju has said that Peter Obi can only get the position of a vice presidential candidate in the 2027 election.

Adeyanju said the only thing the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party is a VP slot for Atiku Abubakar should the coalition plan pull through.

In a post made on X, Adeyanju noted that almost all the Northern politicians have a strong advantage in the current political situation.

He also noted the Northern politicians are the ones who have what it takes to take over power from President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

On the Obidient Movement, Adeyanju said its members would still find it difficult to read the handwriting on the wall on the happenings within the political space.

https://x.com/adeyanjudeji/status/1932727061300343296?t=YWOR1VlLT6aK0TrOXDlOxg&s=19

Atiku has been at the forefront of the coalition campaign aimed at ousting President Tinubu from power.

A two-time presidential candidate, the former vice has also been working towards building alliances for the coalition plan.
The truth, undiluted

If Peter Obi insists on running alone then we can finally conclude he has been a Tinubu proxy all along

Because, why would the flight leave ahead of schedule?

Now who is claiming attache by force?

You Yorubas ehhh,I tire for una,so just because he ate Amala na wetin make am omoluabi abi? Inferiority comex is a disease

Well he is Edo and mother in from anioma in delta state which is delta igbo, anioma is the state Ned nwoko is asking to be creating so they can join there igbo brothers in the east

Same as elumelu, okonjo and many more, they are all Igbos and you can hug transformer,as for osinmeh, his maternal home is igbo and that doesn't add anything to igbo tribe, oga Igbos have the highest and notable football players in Nigeria history, since Igbos has reduced a bit in national team, what have you achieved? To go world cup sef na war, okocha too is delta igbo, obi mikel.is pure igbo, kanu nwankwo,Omo make I continue dey name them?

Na so your people for Ibadan here tell my igbo brother selling igbo food stuffs to cook igbo soup for them,as Dem chop finish they don dey ask am how to cook am,does that make them Igbos?many Igbos especially the ones born in Lagos love Amala,I hate it,I have even fufu wet na Igbos get am Wella,I don't hate Amala because it's a Yoruba food,I married a Yoruba woman so am not a bigot, just that I select food a lot,and yes, when it comes to food,Igbos are No 1 in Nigeria, and Africa

Do you even have soup apart from ewedu and ogufe ,you can't even mention about 5 soup you have, but Igbos have lots and lots of them and very appetizing.

Inferiority complex is a disease, now let me remind you that an igbo person born and brought up in yoruba land full time,Igbos don't see 95% of them as real igbos because they end of behaving like Yorubas ,betrayal am backstabbing

Talk about the only tribe that will tell you fear our Yoruba O! Na una dey talk am now,una dey fear una self no cap.

Again and again, the 5 eastern states are the Igbos we trust, the others can claim Igbos in the morning and another in the night we have everything from oil to whatever,we no be attache by force, get a life.

Even my Yoruba wife from Kwara always says she is tapa and not yoruba
TLDR

Do something better with your time dude, your preoccupation with tribalism is just appalling

FamilyRe: My Mum Wants To Remarry Six Years After The Demise Of My Dad. by IbnB: 7:56pm On Jun 09, 2025
Chram:
I write with Pains in my heart.
I wish to ask God why some certain events occur in life.
I have lots of questions to ask, but nobody to give me answers.

I describe as Selfish, inconsiderate and egoistical the decision of my mum to remarry.

So, I lost my lovely and caring dad six years ago. We had lived in Port Harcourt prior to his death. When we were traveling to the village, we packed all the little properties we had cos we were not going to return back to PH again since my mum would not be able to cater for myself and little siblings.
After the burial and funeral ceremony, we all stayed in the village. I mean a typical village where there's no good road, no electricity, no mobile network. I stayed for a few months, then left them to go squat with my friends in port Harcourt so I could hustle with my muscles and return back to sch at least because it had always been my dad's desire for all of us to go to sch, so I beat my chest and vowed that I would go to sch and graduate. Thank God, I'm done with sch now.

My current challenge now is my mum is in her mid forties and wants to remarry to a man in the village. She hasn't told me yet. But my paternal aunt called to inform me. I'm really worried because if she gets remarried, she will abandon my younger siblings who are there with her because she won't be allowed to take my siblings to her new husband's house as it is an abomination based on the customs and traditions of our place. If my siblings must live with her in that place, then they will have to start bearing the new husband's name as his children. Why ?

Also, as a male child, I'm not allowed to go visit here and eat or sleep over in her new house. If I do this, I might die. Why is this?

Based on reports, my grandfather(mum's dad) is the one mounting pressure on my mum to get married. I'm really worried about the whole situation because the ties between my mum and my siblings are about to be severed. Since my dad died, my mum has been living in her father's house instead of my dad's place. Though both places aren't far from each other. Its trekkable. I feel really hurt and betrayed, I can't even imagine my mum in the arms of another man. If I was stable in monetary and economic terms, I would have taken her out of that dungeon to come live with me, and also bring siblings along. I'm really pained as I type. Tears.. my dad died at age 47.

I wish u guys can beg my mum not to remarry please. What's the difference between me and someone from a Broken background?
Life is not fair to me and my siblings. Not fair at all. I know how I'm feeling right now.

Let me make it clear at this point that if her plans of remarrying goes through, I will dis-mother her. I'll cut all ties and destroy every bond that ever existed between herself and us the children.

Maryam Abacha, widow of Nigeria’s former military ruler, General Sani Abacha, has openly challenged the long-standing narrative that her husband looted Nigeria’s treasury, insisting instead that the late leader saved money for the country which vanished after his death, News360 Nigeria reports.

Speaking in a televised interview with TVC, Maryam questioned the credibility of claims surrounding the so-called “Abacha loot,” demanding evidence or witness accounts to substantiate the allegations.”

“Who is the witness of the monies that were being stashed? Did you see the signature or the evidence of any monies stashed abroad?” she asked.

The federal government has, over the years, announced several recoveries of funds reportedly stashed abroad by the late Abacha and his associates, totaling over $3.6 billion by 2020.

The UK, US, and France have all returned millions of dollars to Nigeria in recent years, citing them as assets linked to Abacha.

But Maryam dismissed these claims, stating that the money her husband allegedly kept for the country disappeared soon after his death in June 1998.

“The monies that my husband kept for Nigeria, in a few months, vanished. People are not talking about that,” she said.

She attributed the continued allegations against her late husband to tribal, religious, and political sentiments.

“Why are you blaming somebody? Is that tribalism or a religious problem or what is the problem with Nigerians?” she asked.

In a blunt remark, she criticised Nigerians for what she described as gullibility in believing the consistent allegations against Abacha.

“And because Nigerians are fools, they listen to everything,” she said.

Maryam also took a swipe at the media, urging journalists to focus on educating and informing citizens rather than “bastardising” people’s names. She argued that her late husband’s frequent mention 27 years after his death indicated he remained a powerful and significant figure in Nigeria’s history.

When reminded of the claims that Nigeria’s economy was more stable during Abacha’s tenure, with increased reserves and reduced debt, she questioned how her husband could have looted the treasury under such circumstances. “So where would he have stolen the money from?” she asked.

June 12 Annulment

On the controversial annulment of the June 12, 1993, presidential election, Maryam refuted allegations that Abacha played a role in the decision, which was taken under General Ibrahim Babangida’s leadership.

“The annulment was not done by my husband. If it was him, that means he was very powerful… even more powerful than the president,” she remarked.

The widow of the former military ruler insisted it was time for the country to move past old grudges and focus on national unity, adding that no individual, not even former leaders like Babangida or Abacha, held the key to Nigeria’s destiny alone.
