During my NYSC then, every corper wan do HSE, Project Management & NIM... Even Law graduates dey do HSE for NISP. lol This generation now, na Agile, Data Analytics & coding all of them wan do.

Seriously, I dislike it when People all gather on a single thing that's trending.

Creativity is the best.

Even though it is not easy to quit your 'hated' job and get another one, but one seriously needs to do what his mind will be at peace.

As I am talking now, I wish I could venture into something else seriously.

I am not deceived by increase in salary at all;
I am a type of person that loves flexibility and for my personal pleasure, I love travelling especially the adventurous one, but this would always be hard to achieve with my current job.


Yes, I am practising my field of study, but in a place I consider "a wrong place"

My simple advice is:
Don't kill yourself all in the name of pleasing someone.

If you strongly hate what you are doing, QUIT, otherwise, you endure and keep saving some reasonable amount of money (if possible) and venture into something else in future, no matter how little.

To me, whether php,python,java or whatever, all you need is creativity as many have said. Facebook and many other successful web apps were developed using the language in subject. Even Nairaland I'm sure. Just be an expert, u will enjoy more.... Anyway, php all the way, though I still use ASP.NET Framework C# and VB.NET, but PHP is my number 1 language.

To me, none of the courses should be seen as useless. Goodluck Jonathan studied Zoology but became the President of Nigeria. Education is all about blessing not the course of study per se....... In ABU Zaria, there are several courses like Ceramic Design,Fine Art,Glass Tech,Art History,etc, but still people are making the best out of it. I've known of many Journalists that were not Graduates of Masscomm, but at the end of the day found their ways in Journalism. Therefore, all courses are good provided you yourself are good.

If we are to take a funny part of it, then I will say URP is University Rejected People as it's called by Abusites just to create fun among students.
