Yeah Its the World Bank Scholarship under the JJ/WBGSP.

justwise: Your sponsorship letter is enough, you don't need to add your own bank statement because the sponsorship letter covers your fees and maintenance money. In sections where they asked if you have any remaining fees and maintenance to pay you have to say no because you paid all your fees and have you maintenance money ready.

Thanks justwise, however u didn't say whether there was still any need to present a bank statement since i have a full scholarship covering tuition and maintenance. The appendix 8 self assessment PBS form asks in qusetions 6.16 about the amount ur official sponsor is paying towards your fees which in my case is full. Then in Q 6.17 asks if you have any remaining fees and maintenance still due for payment? In fact the Q 6.16, to 6.20 is confusing for me. Would you be so kind as to take a look at these questions 6.16 to 6.20 and advise me on how to fill that section. (bearing in mind that I had paid 4600 for my fees b4 i got the scholarship and i had maintenance in my account 7200 but had started spending from since i got the scholarship is now about 6800). Just trying to fill the form and have my appointment on tues.

justwise: In that case print the email from the school directly from your inbox, don't copy the email and paste elsewhere before printing, attach the email to your visa application.

justwise: 1.Staying with a friend for few days before you get your own place is good but you don't need to mention that in your application form since you have your maintenance money.

2. Use your school International office/centre address as your contact address for now, when you get to the UK and get your own place you can change it.

3.Did you tell your school that you will be on scholarship? Was it stated in your CAS?

I have informed my school that i will be on scholarship and sent them the details of the award letter. similarly the awarding body sent a copy of the award letter they sent me to the school. However after making enquiries from the school if they are going to issue me another CAS or I should use the old CAS(which showed part fees payment) for my visa application, they said i should use the old CAS that they won't issue me a new one. This is the last mail they sent me "You will need to submit an original letter confirming your scholarship with your visa application. Your CAS will be updated online to show you have paid £4600 towards your tuition fees. You will not be issued with another CAS."
What do you think?

justwise: Use your school address, staying with your friend is good, as for the interview...i don't know how long it takes before they call you but they will get in touch.

Pls what do you mean by staying with my friend is good, Do you mean I can also use that? Secondly, what do you mean by school address, I don't have nor have i paid for any school accommodation, or do you mean the plain school address? Also I have a scholarship covering tuition and maintenance, though i had been saving money for maintenance and kept it for 28 days. Do i present just the official scholarship award letter alone or still need to provide the bank evidence in addition?? Thanks

Thanks for your reply to my earlier question. How long will it take for the visa interview to be scheduled assuming I apply on monday? Also, can I use the address of a friend staying in the Uk as intended UK address since I haven't paid for a permanent accommodation yet. I intend staying with my friend for about 2weeks, within which time i should settle my accommodation. Thanks

I need your advice concerning documents to include in my visa application. My CAS didn’t specify whether it used my degree certificate or my transcript even though I submitted both to the university, it just said “Qualification evidence : BMS medicine and Surgery University of Calabar.
English Evidence: Assessed at CEFR Level B2: BMS Medicine and Surgery
University of Calabar ” I don’t know if it was my transcript or degree certificate used. Getting my transcript from unical is quite difficult and may take some time. I want to do my visa application next week, can my original degree certificate alone suffice as the documentary evidence and get me the visa since my CAS didn’t specify transcript. Or will my visa be threatened? Pls reply!! Thanks.

I have lodged my maintenance funds in my account and waiting for it to clock 28days b4 i apply for the visa. Saw a reply of yours to someone that he needs to pay his fees in full b4 applying. will my part payment of fees affect my chances of a successful visa application?

Getting a guarantor- High court judge, natl assembly member, LG chairman has been difficult for me cos i live far away from my state and cant go search for one because of my job- will there be consequences if i use a guarantor/judge from the state i'm staying in. need ur advise on how to go about this part cos its really tasking for me.
