Why is the "Black Adam" poster in the back drop? Does it tie to Shazam 2? Thought everything concerning "Black Adam" moving forward in the DCU has gone cold?
It's a fanart poster,
it also has antispambot friendly URL.

From the very moment Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) stood in front of the diners and opened his mouth, I was captivated. There's an almost hypnotic quality to his delivery. I found myself hanging on every word he spoke and felt a little bit impatient each time the camera panned to other characters.

The script is indeed stellar and very unusual. The cast brought the story alive and every minute of the movie is thrilling.

Magnifico!!
The moment I learnt Voldemort is the chef, I knew it's gonna be good.
Ralph Fiennes plays a villain so well.

It was decent quite alright but i felt it wasn't as "groundbreaking" as Netflix tout it to be and the build up to the heist was more profound than the heist itself....what do you think?
I felt the same way.
Interesting premise....
Cool concept....
PREDICTABLE.

All the movie had was a stellar cast, nothing more. No backstory, no motive, no coherent plot...........
A psychotic chef just goes on a ...............
If you pay close attention, you'd see it has all the things you mentioned.

Couldn't help, but kept cursing on the darn guests for them not to even attempt on smashing the chefs head with a chair. angry

The girl with the red hair looked like a fuccin goddess.

I didn't consider it as a horror movie though.
Horrific acts are committed in tense situations so definitely a horror.
It has elements of the absurd so can qualify as a satire or black comedy as well.

Okay.
I googled it to make sure and yep I'm definitely in the right.
Titanic and Avatar 1 are Disney's property.
In Titanic's case, Disney is in charge of international distribution while Paramount is in charge of Domestic.

abduleez1:
I still maintain those films are not. I definitely know Disney now owns Fox and the original company is now defunct.
Disney owns the IP but those films box office aren't as well as its production credits.

Any Sequels or reboots can be Disney's but the originals definitely ain't.
Titanic and Avatar 1-5 are owned by Disney.

I don't know why you're arguing about this.

Puss In Boots 2 enters the Top 20.

Uhm, Avatar 1 and Titanic are not Disney.
Titanic is a joint venture between Paramount and 20th Century fox.
Guess who owns Fox now?
Therefore Disney shares the right of ownership with Paramount.
So technically, you could say Titanic is a Disney film.

As per Avatar 1, replace Paramount with James Cameron's Lightstorm, and it's basically the same scenario.

Bottom line, Disney owns both films.

Officially the 7th highest grossing film ever.
Could topple NWH next weekend.

Minus Jurassic World, top 10 is just Disney things...absolute domination.

It include the following... 9 feature films, 2 documentaries and Avatar 3, 4 and 5.

The extra Joe Russo film is a Netflix film, hence, the '0' gross.
It makes more sense now.

A contender for Best motion picture of year, surely

Spielberg is the greatest of all time filmmaker, you can't convince me otherwise.
There are discrepancies in that list.

According to wikipedia, Cameron has directed 9 films, so I don't know why they added an extra 5 to his films, unless they included documentaries and films he served as EP.

Why do the Russos have the same box office gross when Joe Russo has one extra film?

We'll see how it goes.
Which 2023 movie do you predict would hit a billion?
Honestly, I dunno.
Family oriented ones like Mario Bros might do fairly well.
The critical successful ones like Oppenheimer and Dune 2 will polarize the audience so don't expect them to light the box office on fire.
I'm predicting a lot of flops.
Oppenheimer and Barbie will open on the same day for instance.
That should give you a taste of the bloodbath that will flow this year.

Forget post COVID excuse, Avatar might make 3bn before July.
Nah it doesn't work like that.
It won't gross beyond 2.5bn.
At best, it will gross 2.2bn, at worst 1.9bn.
