You're kinda wrong on Japanese content tho.

While Korea now has many movie great titles to call on, Japan can also boast same. Although, the Japs has been losing ground on live action in recent years while the Koreans has been consolidating.

Ju On, The Ring are always in best horror movies of all time.

The Wind Rises, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Paprika, Akira, Ghost in A Shell, Perfect Blue, Princess Mononoke, Grave of Fireflies.....

These are some top well recognized premium Japanese anime movies even tho I haven't watched all.

I didn't dispute that Japan doesn't have great live action titles, they do but when compared to Korea, there aren't many japanese live action goated titles.
Like I can name 10 great korean films produced within 2000 - 2022 but I can't do the same for Japan.

As regards goated horrors, if Japan has only Juon and Ringu to call upon, Korea has it beat with The Tale of Two Sisters, The Wailing, The Haunted Asylum, and Bedevilled.

In Anime, Japan is a world leader, but in other genres, they're not on par with Korea.

battle royale which has effectively inspired a billion dollar industry is overrated?

the inspiration for pubg, fortnite, and the battle royale mode in just about every shooter there is today?

what about Godzilla - which is still being remade to this day?

and i dont even want to start on anime - akira ; the studio gibli's catalog,

korean cinema is only now blowing up on the international scene. Japanese cinema goes back to the 50s and 60s.

and the matrix has major inspiration from ghost in the shell.

This one typed skrep and ended up saying nothing....lol.
And who said I was disputing the history and influence of Japanese cinema
The crux of the matter is the fact that its glory days are over.
Korea cinema has more influence now.

Stop quoting me if you have nothing meaningful to contribute.

2 movies. 2 great horror movies.

Ringu- the ring
Juon- the grudge

Then let's get to other genres
-battle royale (hunger games copied it)
-13 assassins
-7 samurai

Also note that there are more American-Japanese collabo movies. Tokyo Drift, Godzilla, etc.

You don't know bro
You just proved my point
You couldn't even name 10 purely made Japanese films.

Some of the ones you named are mediocre Hollywood films with Japanese collaboration/influence...lol.

Ringu and Juon are scarely quite alright but "The Wailing" is on another level.
Battle Royale is overrated, couldn't fully immerse myself in it.
13 Assassins is goated.
I haven't seen 7 Samurai.

Japan make good films but their great films are few when you compare them to Korea.

That is a blasphemous statement.

Some of the best horror movies are japanese.

The best animated movies are japanese.

Japanese film industry has a deeper history than Korean.

You are hereby banned from watching movies for 2 days.

Go and sin no more.

Bro, that's a big fat lie.
Some of the best horrors are korean.....
Can you name 10 great Japanese movies offhand?
I know I can name 10 goated Korean movies offhand.

Memories of Murder, Oldboy, Castaway on The Moon, I saw the Devil, Mother, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, The Wailing, Bedevilled, Parasite.

Japan seldom make interesting live action films.
Anime dominates their pop culture.

If you don't know something, just say I don't know. Nobody will kill you.

The Redmi Note 11 uses the Snapdragon 680. The Redmi 10C which is also much cheaper uses the Snapdragon 680.

The Samsung A13 on the other hand uses the Exynos 850 which cannot even support eFootball.

That's what you want him to buy. You're a wicked person.

@OP Na good for you. If I charge you a token to advice you on a good phone, you'll shout yen yen yen. Now see as you've opened yourself up to be misled.

You're very lucky that I saw this.

You're too rude.
If you want to correct someone, there are better ways of doing it.
It wouldn't kill you to be more polite.
In fact, you think too highly of yourself.
You should endeavour to come down from your high horse.

Refurbished products are products wey no get defects again unlike the new ones wey dey ship with factory defects.

Can a lost virginity be restored?
No.
Can a old phone be restored?
Yes.

Therefore it doesn't make any sense to compare lost virginity to a refurbished phone.

I hope you get it now.

Lollllzzzz but you just agree with me na I am asking you if virginity can be restored after losing it? tongue Read properly my friend wink

How

You compared a refurbished phone to virginity, whereas a refurbished phone is a faulty/old phone that has been restored to new and sold at a discounted price, while virginity once taken, can't be refurbished/restored.

So please help me make your virgin analogy make sense. How does a lost virginity correlate with a refurbished product undecided

it can never be better and it can never be new... It's just like saying a woman who has lost her virginity and thinks that after not having intercourse for years will still be a virgin undecided

Lol, your analogy is invalid for one reason....
i) Virginity cannot be restored/refurbished.

Next time, use an analogy that correlates with the topic.

A better analogy is if someone buys an old house, and renovates to the point that it can pass for a new house, then sells it at a discounted price for profit.

You said it as if it's a bad thing.
I don't know where people get this idea that refurbished = substandard.
Refurbish literally means renovate/restore/renew.

A refurbished phone is a phone that has had all it's faulty components removed and replaced with non-faulty ones.

A refurbished phone is as good as a new phone, and sometimes better.

It's possible.

It's based on a novel and the novel has a prequel.

Hurray!. I enjoyed it also but I won't give it a 10/10 score.

It won't win any awards but I was entertained.
It's like a Tarantino movie but with more comedy.

iPhone no Android bruh , even the gurus at computer village dey fear to buy stolen iPhones these days cuz of tracking and police case

Newer Android devices are equipped with anti-theft software that allows the owner to either track it or brick it remotely.
Infact, it's easier to track a stolen android than an iPhone because you only need to input the google ID (email) registered to your stolen phone in a google search box to track it automatically, and you can basically track it with any device that has internet access, be it iPhone, Laptop, Smart TV, etc.

it’s a trial. You don’t know what trials are?

For a service to be free trial, it means the service is free for a limited amount of time, usually 6-12 months, after which, you'd start paying for the service.

So the guy you quoted is right, cuz as of now, MTN esim is free.

Same here. Downloaded some days back.
Started it yesterday night but will finish later tonight.

@ Bolded, That's the same complaint most people who have watched the movie and read the comics say.

When I first watched it, I haven't read the Garth Ennis Hellblazer comics so I enjoyed it for what it was.
On second watch, i've read the comics and to my chagrin, I saw it's a terrible adaptation, so I didn't enjoy it as much.
On the 3rd watch, I'm fully aware it's a terrible adaptation but I wanted to appraise it with a fresher perspective, and guess what, I liked how it ditched the source and did its own thing.

My point is, if you don't see it as a direct adaptation but as a standalone film about a lung cancer afflicted chain-smoking exorcist trying to bribe his way into heaven but ends up getting entangled in a secret conspiracy between Mammon and Gabriel, it's a fun movie.

Hmm.

Is top gun based on fiction though?

All the fighters exist, the countries exist, top gun school exists.

I assume you're playing the devil's advocate, so i'll bite.

The jetfighters, the countries, and top gun school are real, yes.
However, being based on real life doesn't in any way undermine a fictitious element.
Fiction by definition is something possible but not true.
Where as fantasy = fiction, fiction ≠ fantasy.
Many fictions are based on real life but their plots are fictitious, and this is where it matters.

Can you draw historical parallels to the plot lines of the Top Gun movies?
If you can, I'll humbly submit an apology for my grave error,
But if you can't, then I see no reason why you would even attempt this question.
