You dont have an option than to buy because you don't have the facility to refine because you need it direly . You don't have an option than to sell your crud produced also because you need to generate income. You see the problem nigeria is facing. We have to sell crude at a lower price , and import higher simply because we don't have maximum means to refine here. So many countries produce crude , if you not selling the will buy from others. And if you are not buying their refined products their own citizens will buy. The refined product is one that has got better usage.

why are we like this? We are supposed to be smarter than this! Is subsidy illegal? Why not sanitise the subsidy regime and make sure money is released to only genuine importers? Why give money to thieves and come back to ask the masses to pay? Who controls the agencies responsible for the verification? How many oil producing nations don't subsidise their products? Why is the government acting saint now that money is dropping! If they had increased the refining capacity, we would have been making money from refined products by now! Time and Time again, politicians of Northern extraction have shown themselves to be disloyal to the principles of one Nigeria. First it was Sanusi and now Tambuwal.

I can't help but look back at the many years of Northern leadership of our great nation Nigeria and the decorum with which Nigerians of all works of life, religion and tribe rallied under the banner of one Nigeria.

Politics is not entirely a game of power but unity, the unity that was hard won by the likes of Nnamdi Azikiwe and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, may their soul rest in perfect peace.

If Northern politicians continue to show distaste and intolerance to other Nigerians in authority, then even if by a miracle APC wins an election which is highly unlikely, there will be no one Nigeria treasury to loot.
