Am just surprised that muslims and xtians sieze the slightest opportunity to attack one another either verbally or otherwise, whereas as far as I am concerned they are the closest in belief. They both believe in Jesus even though differently. One believe he is their God and the other believe he was an exalted prophet and messanger of God. They should've been closer than with the Jews who don't believe he was the messiah and are still waiting for theirs. IMO. This tells u God does not sincerely feature in the hearts of most of those people.

There's no basis for this confusion. The real fact is that since R1 was returned to each of the men, the R2 they spent on the boy is a part (subset of) the total of R9 spent by each of them. So they spent R8.333 EACH (3*8.333=25) on the room and R 0.667 EACH(3*0.667=2) on the boy AND were left with R1 EACH (3*1=3). So adding these products together, 25+2+3=30. The problem with your question was that you repeated the R2 the boy took twice not knowing that it was latent in the R9 they each spent. Also, you ignored the R1 they are each left with. Hope you're no longer confused.
