You all know what Jonathan did or did not mean. for one, Jonathan did not mention anyone's name, the thread poster just created blanks and then filled them in. Most of you just know this just a case of wrong choice of words but some rabble rousers here just want to get people to hate on Jonathan. All Jonathan was trying to imply was that the PDP has the best candidates in the coming elections. While I definitely don't agree with that, I don't think its best to simply ignore what he obviously meant in favour of what he did not just because you don't endorse his aspirations. an obvious case of wrong choice of words some people here are taking advantage of here.

before anyone starts calling me a GEJ zombie, lemme just make it clear that I don't have a reputation of being one, wether on Nairaland or elsewhere. infact i am very pro fashola as some of my posts will attest. however, i can't stand the blatant misinformation going on here, its things like this that are pulling this country backwards.

I don't quite agree with you here. Pls refer to the pictures posted by Violent on page 1. If I'm not mistaken are those not INEC materials dumped in a heap in full view of the public. Are they not supposed to be items of high security value. If someone drives in and helps himself with a truck load what will Jega say. Accountability and probity is non existent here and Jega does not deserve a cent more, credible elections or not. We should not accept a gun to our heads because we think INEC alone can guarantee credible elections. This waste has got to stop. If he feels he is serving this nation, then he and his men have to roll up their sleeves, work hard and make the necessary sacrifices for that to happen. if you are in usa as u claim, where is bush and clinton? they played their parts and left the stage but how can u say that a man who is the chief decission maker of the rulling political party of a country has left the stage?
do u have the smallest knowledge of politics? no vital decission will be made in nigeria without the consent of obasanjo.
pdp is under someone and his name is obasanjo. he is the chairman board of trustees and by the virture of his office, he is the most influential person in the party.
he is very very active politically and his relevance in the party and governance of the country can not be over-emphasied here.
before u post next time, make a little research on the structural position of ppl and parties to avoid exposing your ignorance in a public forum like this.
if you know the country called south africa and their former president called mandela, u will agree with me that respect is earned based on your actions. mandela is till date seen as a small god unlike the beast in the name of obasanjo who right from his immediate family has made himself so useless that anyone can say anything to him and get away with it.
what we have in nigeria is nothing but a glorified third term agenda which he cld not achieve directly. no wonder jonathan has been unable to make a single tangible decission all his days as the commander in chief of the useless personal republic of nigeria.
