Yes, she will need to pay as this category of visa can only be educated at independent fee-paying schools.

Start by checking schools that sponsor child study visas and apply to them. Each schools will have their requirements to be met in order to get CAS which will now be used for visa application.

For more information, check https://www.gov.uk/child-study-visa

Hello Guys,
My sister would like to undergo her A-Levels in the UK and I have got some questions that I would like the house to help with.

She is under 17, I know that she needs a Child Student Visa to school in the UK. My question is that, if she is staying with a close relative and decides to attend a grammar school for the sixth form, does she need to pay tuition fees at the grammar school since it is free for home students?

If Yes, she has to pay tuition, please any advice on how to go about it

Thanks

Travel / 2 Days Trip To Erin Ijesha Waterfall And The Ikogosi Warm & Cold Spring by Ibukun120: 8:05am On Nov 23, 2020
The Ikogosi Warm Spring, allows you to explore the unique scenery of warm and cold spring flowing side by side to form a confluence, each maintaining its thermal properties. This merging of warm and cold water is the first of its kind in the world. The verdant and thick green; the intimate and warm feelings of the hotel accommodations erected under clear skies, add to the visual spectacle of the Ikogosi Warm Spring. The Ikogosi Warm Springs which is situated in a dense forest extends over a hilly landscape. It has tall trees around the conflux of warm and cold springs providing a tall canopy for you.

The volume of water coming from the springs remains constant and warm from morning to evening. This resort centre has over time asserted itself as one of the finest tourist destinations in Nigeria. Also, there are two kinds of trees growing from the same source at the meeting point of the warm and cold springs. This symbolizes unity, harmony and oneness. A tour guide would be available to take you around when you arrive at this place.

Many stories have been told, as regards the history of the Ikogosi Warm Spring. The most striking of such historical tales have it that the warm and cold water were the wives of a man, who after a long period of contest turned into springs through magical means. The warm water became the troublesome wife while the cold water became the gentle and peace-loving wife. However, it is largely believed that this spring was discovered by a Baptist Missionary in 1950. History also has it that the warm spring has a temperature of about 70 degree Celsius at the source, and 37 degree Celsius at the confluence. As a result of the belief that the water is an elixir of skin ailment, aches, infertility, arthritis, and hypertension, it is not uncommon to find visitors at the spring with kegs to fetch the warm water. Thus, the spring has been a source of life for the people of Ikogosi town.

The Erin Ijesha Waterfall, which is also known as Olumirin Waterfalls, is a tourist attraction located in Erin Ijesha, Osun State. It is said that Erin-Ijesha waterfalls was first discovered in 1140 AD and was called Olumirin, which means "another deity," because it seemed it had the appearance of a mysterious figure.

These destinations are some of the most breathtaking destinations in South West, Nigeria and they should be much more promoted than they currently do.

Tarkwa Bay is an artificial sheltered beach located near the Lagos harbor in Nigeria. Due to its island status, it is only accessible by boat or water taxis. The beach, popular with swimmers and water-sports enthusiasts, also has a welcoming resident community.

You’ll love this beautiful island that far removed from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. Tarkwa Bay Beach, unlike most public beaches in Lagos, isn’t often noisy or overcrowded. This makes it a great place for some alone time with your significant other or perhaps a fun day out with your friends.

Nairaland / General / Knocking Down The Nigerian House: Getting Youths And Women Into Government. by Ibukun120: 9:49am On Aug 19, 2020
At a moment of historic volatility in American politics, these four women decide to fight back, setting themselves on a journey that will change their lives and country forever. Without political experience or corporate money, they build a movement of insurgent candidates challenging the powerful incumbents in Congress. Their efforts result in a legendary upset — KnockDownTheHouse.com

The words above are those of the producer of the Netflix documentary — Knock Down the House. This movie documents the journey of four amazing women, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Amy Vilela, Cori Bush, and Paula Jean Swearengin, who were working their way up the ballot, on a quest to Washington. In the end, only one of them — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, made it through the primaries and eventually got a seat at the US House of Representatives, earning the title “Baby of the House” being the youngest member of the House at the age of 27.
The full movie was uploaded to YouTube by Netflix and can be found here -

Standard or Priority

As an update, I had to pay for assisted service as that is the only way the VAC could consolidate our applications.

I went in for Biometrics first and documents were scanned. Her documents were then also scanned and her application linked to mine as I was the sponsor. I submitted my Bank Statements in support of her application.

As it's been quite a while since I last applied, I didn't realise that the slots were now hot cakes...we both had to pay for a Flexi Appointment. This was in addition to paying to use the Premium Lounge...we were done by about 9:10am

Submitted applications on Wednesday 5th February with the 8am appointments and received passports back today Tuesday 11th February via courier grin
