sebali:@ Emboldened: Please go and read "why we struck by Adewale Ademoyega. Atleast it was not written by an Igbo. I am contesting the information you provided in your argument. Please avail me the source, written account by any author that has these informations. I will be pleased to add that to my catalogue. Until then, I reserve my comments. I don't argue blindly Secondly, are you denying the fact that the killings of the easterners in the north fueled the demand to cede? If the killings which occurred has not necessitated the Igbo to move back home, do you think Biafra would ve held sway? Are you aware that the igbo's where also established in the north back then, are willing abandoned what they had to go home? Aren't you making excuses here? |
walemoney007:Dr. Clement Nyong Isong. He was from cross River. And what about that? |
Ghost01:If you have a superior account, table it. Don't quote me and write rubbish. @ Emboldened. Don't mix issues together, quote me at the appropriate places, I don't delay in giving response. I am on leave now. I got lots of time |
emmyrichie: The war was fought over 3yrs. He was probably 10yrs at the end of the war. |
lady25:They will tell us demons who doesn't know God that it's for better for worse. God forbids divorce. Did God forbid separation? You can't walk away because of your children. Is it not when your alive with sound health that you take care of your children. Thank God I ve a good wife, if she was a bad woman, 2weeks after the wedding, I will take her to her father's house, or rent another house an leave that one for her. Can't imagine people surviving in a disturbed home. |
Still wondering why any sensible government will even consider negotiations or amnesty for these animal call BH. See the way the cut short of this young lad. WARNING Please the military should not put this guy's family through stress trying to get his benefits. Its enough that they ve lost their loved one |
sebali: @Emboldened : Are you aware that Ironsi was expected to be a victim in that coup but waded off with military resistance? Are aware that the Northerners had more victims because they were occupying major political office and not a tribal war against the north. Are you aware of the electoral violence and rigging that came with the election in March 1965. Are you also aware that a counter coup by Murtala and Danjuma saw the deaths of Aguiyi Ironsi and other top igbo military officials. Was that not enough revenge from the northerners? Was any civilian involved in all of this? How then can you justify the killing of over 30,000 Igbo's in the North. How then can you justify subsequent killings in the North, 1991, 1999. Can you see that it's a normal thing for them to do? You didn't see anything right for the easterners to call for self governance? You try to push blames around. The blood of the innocents still cry for vengeance. It will be atoned by the blood of the perpetrators. Watch out. The major actors will die a miserable death |
AdamsBashforth:I ve taken note of that. Guess no need paying attention to him. |

philips70:Abi o. That didn't cross my mind. I was more interested in saving my head |

Nigeria can Lie!!!!!!!!! |
There is no election without irregularities. If the evidence is not sufficient to quash the election, strike out the case and save the tribunal time and resources |
400billionman:Funny enough, they had women too among them. What I can't say is if they were brain washed or genuinely knew what was at stake. They assume every one is gullible and moves when money is mentioned. |
bobbiekrantz: Like I said in one of my posts, I grew up thinking these old animals were hero's. That's what youthful innocence can cause. They paint Ojukwu black and made us see him as been the architect of Igbo misfortune. Too bad that Technology created better awareness. People can now research and find truths for themselves. The dark Ages is gone. We know the truth, and this generation will preserve this agitation even for the coming generation. |
adamshuaib: I ve read 15 books on Biafra, not written by Igbo, if you got cash, I can give you references. If don't have cash, go to Google and key in official minutes of meeting Aburi Accord. Am sure your opinion about Ojukwu will change. Gowon is buried in shame, he can't even justify his actions beyond effort to keep Nigeria as on undivided entity. Watch documentaries an see the relief on his face when the war ended. People perish for lack of knowledge You need to broaden your perceptions. Please quote me again, when you have researched properly |
Met some guys last two months who claimed they are into crude business. They have NNPC allocation to shift crude abroad. They have already concluded negotiations with some foreign investors who are ready to move money into their accounts. Upon the condition that the present a bank guarantee. My own role was to help them facilitate the bank guarantee from my office. I asked for the documents, after reviewing I knew they were fraudulent. I asked for 80per deposit face value for bank guarantee into their account, they are promising me what they will give me in return if I can assist. I asked them to Bleep off. Closed their account. I no want EFCC wahala. |
Brain reconfiguration needed |
Jesusloveyou: Lolz, I totally agree with you. So much funds have gone down the drains over time. |
Generations of our time are researching and coming in terms with truths and realities. We ve lost love for people we adored in youthful innocence. Be careful what you do today

cccxxiii:Think positive. You are still very young |
temitemi1:Funny enough, GEJ have a meeting with Buhari, the media says he is looking for soft landing. OBJ visits Buhari, the media says, he has asked Buhari to ensure GEJ goes to jail? Obasanjo isn't looking for a soft landing to Haliburton money laundering scandal Buhari was meant to investigate Obasanjo returns 200 million dollars stolen funds, he claims he preserved it for Nigeria. This country is funny |
Awolowo was responsible for denying Igbo's monies in their account. He claimed that their outstanding balances will be investigated and subsequently returned to them. Which he never did. This was against Gowon's direct order that Igbo's should be given everything that belongs to them in the spirit R3 What did Gowon do as the head of state when the Igbo's cried back to him of the ill treatment of Awolowo? Awolowo was thrown in jail by his own people collaborating with the North, Ojukwu facilitate his release after 3yrs. The guy with poisonous blood of betrayal flowing in his veins betrayed the trust vested in him. This country is a thrash. |
adamshuaib:Who told you Ojukwu started the war? What do you know of the Aburi agreement between Gowon and Ojukwu? Another illiterate on Nairaland |
temitemi1:Monies judiciously spent in enthroning this government should not be deemed as embezzled These guys ain't did anything bad ![]() |
Nice one Sagay. Aren't you going ahead of your shadow to make that call? The government is yet to give you terms of reference. Naija people, give them a little power and the next minute the wield beyond their limits. |
The guy could be Shekau gunned down while trying to escape the heat |
ilobasama: When OBJ came into power in 1999, he set up Oputa panel to address human right abuses of the military government. We wasted money funding that sitting. What did the government do with the recommendation. I still advocate for recovery of looted funds, but looks like this government is chasing everything at the same time or some people trying to stay relevant so they are not removed for none performance. If this government keep chasing everything, it won't achieve anything. |
