I totally agree with you on this. I didn't absolve GEJ of any blame. My emphasis is on the need for us to embrace issues genuinely rather than religious and tribal sentiments. And the need to offer support to our leaders in respective of where they come from. However we choose to play, we the masses are always at the receiving end. If you have not had a relation who is a victim of these blast you may also not appreciate my point.

We can throw all the blame of GEJ for not having the will to surmount the sabotage from the northern leaders to curb Boko haram. But he is gone, we can only criticize him.
This should be a lesson to our NORTHERN BROTHERS.

No matter how we dice it, we can't take away the place of blatant ineptitude in the handling of the BokoHaram terrorsits which unwittingly gave room for politicization by some elements within and without the government.

[b]I strongly feel the Northerners didnt give GEJ government the support to curb this menace in the first place. Ihejirika stood up to them and battled but the Northern BIGOTS which includes the Buhari criticized the governement efforts, labelled a fight against the North. They cried to international communities and cooked up evidences ofhuman right abuse which Amnesty international still hold against the Nigeria governement.

lets not forget that Boko haram started acquiring teritories and wield so much power after the govrnment was forced to remove Ihejirika. Its very easy to tie it to ineptitude on the part of the past government.

The only area i blame the government is in it lack of will to damn the northern criticism, resistance and sabotage in bid to oust Boko haram and focus on its objective. Which would ve been appreciated at last.

The Northerners embraced the sect, saw them as one, protected them at the inception. they felt they were not directly affected by the ir activities. afterall its churches were bombed, afterall its christain dominated local government that were major victims until they remember the mosques and emires in their locality.

I am not a Fan of this APC led government, but I still believe that anyone who betrayed the opportunity given to him/her by GEJ to serve this country, and only saw it as an opportunity to steal should face corruption charges via a due process, convicted and sent to jail.

In as much as I hate them, it shouldn't be to the point of death
