I'm Not Only Emphasizing On Age, its the Number of years these Guys Stay in Power. Some of them are Clueless Dump Dump Receiving Fat Salary for Years With No meaningful Contribution. They should be a Rule stating the Number of Years One can Be active in The Political Arena. Pay Cognizance to David mark; Tukur and the rest, They Were all Governors In The 70's and 80's But they still Hold one Office or the Other. This is Regression and Stagnation. We cant Grow like this!

I See No Reason Why Septuagenarians And Octogenerians Should still Vie and Contest For Political Offices When there are Vast Number of Competent Individuals For That Same Position. This Is One of the reasons why We can't Grow as a Country Because the capable hands are Not Offered the Opportunity. Most of these Guys in Power Held Political Offices Back In The 70's/80's Even Before Most Of us We Were Born But Today they still Clung to Power Like its There Birth-Right.

Will it be an anomaly To Promulgate a Law Stating that

1)Politicians Should Have a Particular Number of Years they can Be active?


2). Politicians Should Have a Particular Age Range At which They can Vie/Contest For a Particular Position. Say 35- 60


3). Politicians Should Have Retirement Age Just Like Our Lecturers and Civil Servants?. Say 70 Tops.

You are absolutely Correct in Your Assertions But there are Certain Criteria on which they Exempt some of those Rules. Eg If one studies at the UN University New York, the Chances of landing the Job is High. i decided to Work, Concentrate on an advanced Education and learn more Languages Most especially French and Spanish. Learning the Six UN Language increases Your Chances of Getting the Job too. I'd want us all to work together since we share the same Passion in Information dissemination and Gathering. Just Followed you!
