President Buhari DID clear power equipment from the ports. In fact he did it twice.

*First time - 2017:* Buhari approved funds to clear *218 containers* stranded at Lagos ports 0596

*Second time - 2018:* FG announced recovery of *500 stranded containers* belonging to TCN. Minister Fashola said:

> "As at yesterday with that budget, we have been able to recover 500 containers belonging to TCN, containing equipment for transmission expansion projects that were left at our ports before President Buhari came." d2d2

Those were TCN transmission equipment - transformers, substations, cables.

*Why there is still equipment stranded now under Tinubu?*

Because new equipment kept coming (Siemens deal 10 mega transformers arrived 2022/2023) and old ones from Obasanjo era (20 years ago) were still there.

Tinubu just ordered clearance of another *300+ containers* now in Oct 2026 that have been there for 14-20 years. 9e69

So Buhari cleared all that was stranded _at that time_, but more arrived later and some very old ones were never cleared.
