Ok....oya guys please show me the link where it says swisscare is not acceptable.....thanks

Demaejy:

Where in my post did I advise him to use Swisscare Insurance? Read in between lines.

I have seen someone that submitted Aiico Insurance this year and his visa was granted, what of that? Saying this, you will still say I advised people to use what is not acceptable. This is what am trying to avoid.

Simply provide a link for the guy to seeing where it is stated that Swisscare is not acceptable so that he can take off his mind from it... simple!!!

I don't know when saying what you know simply means you are telling people to do it.

I intended on going through turkey but I had already renewed my UK visa and as such booked an appointment at the Estonian embassy in London. I will still have to come back to nigeria before proceeding to estonia in august.

I still do want to know the best option to go with for the health insurance as I am short of time for the 4th of July.

Demaejy:

It is not really mean Swisscare ain't acceptable to process Visa and TRP, but one will later buy another Insurance on getting to Estonia. Swisscare is cheaper and easy to procure, that's the advantage.

I can see that you are going to Estonia via Turkey, can you kindly share how you got your Turkish Visa so that, others that having issues with Indian embassy can opt to Turkey route.

I have gone through previous posts. From my contacts in estonia Swiss care is still been used so I dnt knw where that information is from. Besides from kindlustusEst website swiss care is still approved.

However I have contacted Ergo insurance and the payment for a year is about €245, that is in no way cheap plus the payment is done by bank transfer instead or credit card or online payment which makes it difficult for me now in nigeria considering my appointment is for 4th of July.

Please I will really appreciate further assistance or recommendations

rajiism:

Estonian no longer accept swiss care insurance, you can contact ERGO KINDLUSTUS, www.ergo.ee.com; info@ergo.com.ee, +3726106500. They seems to be the cheapest among the approved insurance company.
Also you can go through the previous post for more info.

Thanks a lot guys, for all the information and suggestions.

I've got a question to ask, please do not tell me to go back to previous pages....thanks

I noticed on pages 80 and 81 of this thread that a similar question was asked on the requirements for Visa and nairaspace answered with the requirements for indian visa(for those going through india). I would not be going through india

However, the question I want to ask is the requirements for obtaining the Estonian Residence permit and Visa ireespective of the country you applying from. Also, please dont direct me to their police and border guard website, because I saw some documents required which seem unnecessary to me or not for my purpose.

Finally, concerning the insurance contract that seem to be required, how and where could i obtain it and at what cost...
Thanks in anticipation of your polite responses

University of Tartu seems not to be of assistance in obtaining a Residence permit

Hello Guys, for those with little information and better understanding on obtaining the TRP and Visa for estonia...

Is it possible to apply for the Visa at the Belgian embassy in abuja, and apply for the TRP at Turkey (or India) and receive it at Estonia, so I dont have to wait about a week or so for the Visa response.

Since Uni of Tartu, did not provide any personalised assistance for the TRP and Visa application.

Thanks for your anticipated responses

Nah... not in Turkey at the moment...

tlk2Prince:

Hey man watsup!
are you in turkey? because i would apply for my TRP and Visa at Estonia embassy in Ankara as well.
Travel / Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by icotfodile: 7:05pm On May 30, 2016
Oh...guess i initially got you wrong. okay thanks

Demaejy:

Hey bro, don't get me wrong. Estonian embassy in Delhi charges 6,070ruppes for TRP and another 6,070ruppes for Visa.

However, when you convert 100$ to ruppes you will get something around 6070ruppes. This information is strictly for students going to India for their application.

Please, kindly send an email to Eesti embassy in Ankara to inquiring about appropriate fee.

@Demaejy, Pleasse are you certian about the 100 USD covering both the require Estonian TRP and Visa, and could this apply to other places like the estonian embassy in ankara, turkey, as that is where i intend to apply through

Demaejy:

You pay Naira equivalent of $252 dollars at Indian High commission at the rate in black market.

Estonian embassy in New Delhi will charge the same amount of 6,070 rupee for both TRP and Visa. 6,070 rupee is around 100USD. You pay in rupee currency anyway.
