I think it's a false info. When the list is out, it will be published. The Air Force is known for integrity.

From the look of things, the list might not be out anytime soon.

Confirmed information has it that some people were sent messages to resume interview screening and are currently undergoing screening.

Hi all,
For those that need information, I gave a rather incomplete information earlier which should have been sufficient though.

Lots of medical tests would be carried out, from blood, urine to ultra-sound, eye, teeth, ENT, Chest, ECG, overall physical examination, height, weight, BMI, BP. All these tests were used in screening out a large number.

Afterwards was the race 3km, but while some states were doing medical tests, others were to face the selection board.
The race had 4 cages based on time of completion, under 15 mins enters in to cage 1 (full point) and so on beyond 20 mins enters into cage 4 (zero points). Unfortunately, an applicant died during this (May his soul RIP). You would be told several times that joining the military is not a do or die affair. So take it slowly and ask God for grace.

Final test is to write an Essay in not more than 60 words, could be different for batch B.

Also getting to charge phones is not easy either.

Accomodation is provided, NYSC standard as someone said earlier. You are to feed yourself with your money. little advice is to come along with wrapper and jacket because it gets really cold at night. Also a white Long sleeved shirt which you can wear inside the white vest for the cold.

All the required forms that should be signed would be collected during the selection Board oral interview.

At the moment most people are done with Medical tests and the Oral Interview. The process is a bit slow in my opinion

Yes, you can apply with a related course, but not sure it will be accepted during screening. I will recommend you apply for Army SSC

As this Post was quite helpful I will post mine.

It was quite shocking that my Priority Visit Visa was denied, having travelled several times to the UK and other places as well.
Well here is the timeline.


Visa Timeline (Priority):
23rd August: Submitted online
28th August: Went for biometrics
29th April: Email that application has been received at Sheffield
5th September: Went to TLS and then to British High Commission to inquire.
5th September: Collected my passport same day, emails of decision made and collection also came in same day.
Decision was actually made and signed on 31st August.

Reason for refusal : Couldn't understand their reasons though. seems to bother on bank statement and financies.

Final list came out December. Training starts proper in January.

He was right, for 2016 the final list came out in Novemeber and training started early december and DSSC POP was early June while NDA RC and SSC POP was september of 2017.

In 2014, training started in January.

The recruitment with the selection board should end in august. Addition and removal of names would then take 3-4 months

Just forget about Airforce DSSC this year. If it hasnt come out by now, its not happening this year anymore.

It seems only those that were sent messages are eligible for the Interview.
Even if they give us that information of date and venue, we cant just show up at the venue without an invitation.

So much hype about the RC cadets until I hear from past SSC cadets that RC cadets do train them all I will believe for now is that they only meet for collective training as regarding POP.

All these ones you guys are arguing about is not important. Let the FORM be out thats the most important thing.

However do not dispute the fact that RC cadets would definetly work on SSC guys whether through training or jobs.
Also there isnt much disparity between RC and SSC. The major disparity is between RC/SSC and DSSC even after conversion between RC and DRC.

I think this issue has been addressed already. theres nothing like 'if it's not too big', as long as it is protruding, that is the easiest disqualification criteria. you must have a strong godfather for it to be overlooked. So please go work on it now.

I disagree with you, army don't release form that time of the year. If it doesn't come out from now till June, then till next year be that.
And mind you even though they released the form earlier say January, we fno go still hang pip till next year, because only the recruitment exercise will take almost 4months or more (day portal will be opened to final shortlistment) after which 9months training commences.

Lmao, now we have extended it till June? from feb to mar to april now june. Baba NA DSSC/SSC portal can come out anytime. within two months final shortlist can come out. The thing is if it doesnt show up this May, everyone should just take their minds off it completely till anytime it shows.

Hmmm.. Last year they were selective with the qualifications/courses needed. We hope it won't be same this year.

It was a special case last year. Thats why they had just specific courses.
