He should rather pray, prayer solve all problems. But on a serious note, why do these men of God think the girl is still alive? I doubt that sha, forgive me all the sins I have committed with this |
Sometime, people unleashed the beast in them in a faceless forum like Nairaland. Some people don't do it for likes, it's just the demon in all of us that we are afraid to let out in public. |
Is the guy high on some cheap weed? I know his intention might be somehow illogical and it might represent his real state of mind, but, boy the way you have chosen lead to destruction. |
I wouldn't know. God seems to be preferential with location. In Abuja, a good Christian attending 'spirit led church' can come to church with trouser but a taboo in my town... And that's God's way is what we don't know. Should culture influence Christianity, keeping in mind that culture and religion are interwoven. People pray and fast all day, and they still come up with different and almost opposing views of God. Christianity is almost 2000 yrs old and we can't still figure it out all. ****Are you sure this thing is meant for us human? On a lighter note, It depend on the century, you know something that is right 400 yrs ago might be wrong now. Pls, is there any website to worship online, not streaming website. |
I don't know him, all the way rip |

THE 40,000 TO 70,000 SKELETONS within Sedlec Ossuary (aka Kostnice Ossuary Beinhaus) in the Czech Republic welcome you, quite literally, with open arms. Known to most as “the Bone Church,” it displays some of the world’s more macabre art. In addition to a splendid bone chandelier composed of almost every bone in a human body, the ossuary displays two large bone chalices, four baroque bone candelabras, six enormous bone pyramids, two bone monstrances (a vessel used to display the Eucharistic host), a family crest in (you guessed it) bone, and skull candle holders. Festively looping chains of bone are hung throughout like crepe paper at a birthday party. Sedlec Ossuary has a long history, beginning in the 13th century when the Abbot of the Sedlec Monastery (Abbot Henry) brought a handful of earth back from a journey to the Grave of the Lord in Jerusalem. He scattered this “holy soil” across the Sedlec cemetery, securing its place as one of the most desired burial sites for people all over Bohemia and the surrounding countries. Everyone wanted to be buried in that handful of the Holy Land and more than 30,000 were. But it wasn’t long before there simply wasn’t enough room for everyone to rest in peace, and the bodies were moved to a crypt to make room for the newly dead. In 1870, a local woodcarver, František Rint was employed for the dark task of artistically arranging the thousands of bones. Rint came up with the Bone Church’s stunning chandelier, as well as the amazing Schwarzenberg coat of arms, which includes a raven pecking at the severed head of a Turk–all made of human bone. Rint was responsible for bleaching all of the bones in the ossuary in order to give the room a uniform look. His artist’s signature is still on the wall today–naturally, in his medium of choice, bone. Source: https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/sedlec-ossuary

Gay and bisexual British veterans who were stripped of their medals because of their sexuality will now be able to reclaim them, the UK government has said, as it admitted the pre-2000 policy was an "historical wrong." Only heterosexual people were allowed to serve in the British Armed Forces until the turn of the century, and troops whose sexuality was discovered often saw their honors removed before they were discharged. They can now apply to have them reinstated. It comes after a legal campaign by Falklands War veteran Joe Ousalice, who was forced from the Royal Navy in 1993 for being bisexual, and who lived through poverty on his return to the country. He previously told the BBC that, when his superiors discovered his sexuality, "they cut (the medal) off my chest with a big pair of scissors." UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson wrote in a tweet Tuesday: "Those who serve in our Armed Forces deserve every recognition for their service. Thousands of gay men in UK to be pardoned for now-abolished sex offenses Thousands of gay men in UK to be pardoned for now-abolished sex offenses "It was a very great injustice that this was denied to some members simply because of their sexuality. I hugely welcome the fact we can now address this historic wrong." LGBTQ groups have welcomed the move, but urged the government to go further and address other consequences facing people who were discharged over their sexuality. "It is deeply regrettable that because of their sexuality some members of the Armed Forces were in the past treated in a way that would not be acceptable today," Defence Minister Annabel Goldie said in a statement. "As a result of disciplinary action and their dismissal from service, some personnel forfeited medals that they had earned, and others were denied the opportunity of continued service that could have resulted in the restoration of medals that were forfeited for different reasons." The Ministry of Defence said it was "committed to addressing this historical wrong" and encouraged veterans to apply. Relatives can apply on behalf of a former troop who has died. LGBTQ campaigners have urged ministers to also address claims for compensation, lost pension rights, the mental health of veterans, and other issues facing people who fell victim to the pre-2000 legislation. "This is the first step in acknowledging wider ranging reparations," LGBTQ service group Fighting With Pride said. "Our aim is to ensure that the impact of all historical wrongdoing is acknowledged and appropriately addressed, not just the return of medals." In recent years the British government has reckoned with the consequences of a number of historic homophobic laws. In 2016, the UK government announced that thousands of gay and bisexual men who were convicted under now-abolished sexual offense laws would be posthumously pardoned.
