Hmmmm, so "he" is not a man ?
The pronoun " he" is used to describe masculinity. Masculinity is a term that is associated with the stronger and dominant sex, while the Pronoun " she" depicts the more weaker and submissive sex, since it would be wrong to refer to God as weak and submissive we use the pronoun " he" which represent strength and dominance, rather than " she" which represent submission.

Although the pronoun " he " doesn't not perfectly connote God, but since their is no more pronoun in the English vocabulary that could God, which use the alternative of " he" but he is not actually a " he" but something more than "he" that we have no word for.

Is God a man or a woman ?
God is without a sex, why?

Because he doesn't need it, he doesn't need a pen1s nor a vagina. He is a being that is not subject to a form or sex.
God actually made a man and a woman in order to multiply on earth, thus he gave them the equipments of multiplication.

Take these analogy, God is like a phone manufacturing company ( may God forgive me if I err by these example) a man is like the phone, while the woman is like a charger.

The phone company made the charger for the phone,to charge it and sustain it, but the phone company itself is not a phone nor a charger, but greater than the phone and charger.

Was my explanation clear please?

To cut the long story short, Kehinde later accept God as God, but the point is that, he was a vengeful atheist, somebody that is attempt to spite God by denying his existence.

Vengeful atheist can be convinced with explanations not debate.

PRETENDER ATHEIST

The are People who denies the existence of God for occult and satanic reasons. They knew that God existed, they knew he is alive, they feel his glory, but they pretend as if he doesn't exists for devilish reasons.
This category of Atheist are rarely or can never been convinced to accept the existence of God, because they already know God, in fact more than theists, but their satanic agendas and plans make them pretend and preach that he doesn't exist.

I Hope this helps.. Temijim

The emotional and vengeful atheist.

These categories of atheist are soft atheist, that is, they are not core atheist, there is these part of their heart that believe that there is God, but they try to lock that part, they try to force themselves to believe that there is no God, they try to stop themselves from believing that there is God.

Why do these people try to discard the reality of the existence of God?

Here is a story of a twins, they grew together as infants, as boys, as teenagers and as adult, but unfortunately,Taiwo became fatally ill, he was hospitalized for Six months, during those six months,Kehinde was visiting house of prayers, always praying and begging God to heal his twin brother.
Unfortunately, on the sixth month Taiwo left these world, he died. It was a terrible period for Kehinde, he was extremely depressed and angry at God, that despite all his prayers, God still took his brother.

Then, Kehinde in an attempt to spite God, to settle score with God, he denies the existence of God and of his power, not only did he did this, but he also took time to study the Bible and all other religious materials just to look for weaknesses of God and how he could argue against him.

The fact is that, Kehinde knew there is God, but because of what seems like a negligent from God who abandoned his brother to die, he was vengeful and force himself to deny his existence, so that no one would glorify him.

But as Kehinde moved on with life, he met Sarah during his NYSC service, it was Sarah, who enlightened him and told him that God is no author of evil, but he gives men choices to make, The death of Taiwo has a reason, which only God who sees the future knows, his death may had been a means of avoiding a greater evil, that may cause him his life and the life of his parents, but God had prevented this.

To be continued...

Temijim:
What would it take to convince atheists that God exist?
There are three types of atheist:

(1) The Radical or logic driven atheist.

(2) The Emotional or vengeful atheist.

(3) The pretender atheist.

This three categories are convinced with a different approach, but one thing is common in all the approach, which is faith.

Radical or logic driven atheist are usually people, who had sound education and professorship, that creates for them an impression of a total or partial awareness of their environment.
They believe so much in their ideas and their reasoning sense, to them anything that their senses can not detect is a lie, a theory, a fable. Not only do they not believe in God, but also in the unseen world, the supernatural.

This category of atheist are the most difficult atheist to convince, because they are learned, but nevertheless less they could be convinced. So how do you convince radical atheist?

ANSWER

The surest way of convincing them is not by debate or argument, but by a personal encounter with the supernatural. Radical atheist are like Saul the apostle in the Bible, a man who knows a lot and knows enough, he can never be transformed by the powerful preaching of peter, but by the personal divine encounter he had with Jesus himself.

Radical atheist are convinced when they have a personal encounter with the divine.

Am coming back to talk about the other category of atheist, stay tuned please.

Ogbo had never been more pleased with himself, his plan had worked, Chilo is in his power now, he never knew he could be this lucky. All he had to do now is bring her the mother whom he knows where she is because he actually hid her himself.

Ogbo had been following Chilo from the offset of the Journey at Aro, he had watched her and monitored her, he was around when the Lusty Oyo warriors caught her and made her mother unconscious with his slap.
He had attended to the unconscious woman, as he dragged her to safe place where she could revive without been harmed.

It was this delay that made him almost got chilo raped by the warrior, but fortunately for him, he arrived on time. He could never be more happy with himself, now, Chilo would love him now or later, he would make her fall in love with him.
And when the time comes, he would make her his woman and he would make love to her, but right now, getting back her mother is the essential thing.

He prays the woman is still where he had left her, if not, then he would have a lot of searching to do.

ARO

Ayeni walked slowly towards the border, the sun was high above the sky, emitting it hot rays on the red soil that pleasantly heated the earth which Ayeni walked on. It has been long he felt like this, that feeling of death, the stench of death and the silence thereof.
He could hear the squeak of vultures from the distance.
Then suddenly, a strong rotten, thick and suffocating odour struck him, which made him winced, the odour was coming in rounds before but now, it was constant.

Ayeni moved towards the origin of the disturbance with a heavy and eyes and a heavy heart, he pulled away some shrubs apart to reveal a decomposing man, lying face down with a split head that was revealing his creamy brain.

Ayeni covered his nose with the wing of his agbada as the stench was unbearable, then he broke a dry branch which he used to turn the man around, it was difficult for him to turn him around, for he his limp and very heavy, moreover, instead of the branch to roll him over, it was breaking his weak skin, as fresh odours ooze out.

Ayeni summoned courage, and with his leg, he rolled the body over, it was a horrific sight, It was Ichendu, his eyes had poked out revealing a more larger part of his eyes, which warms can be clearly seen trooping in and out of his socket.

TAO11:
I’m not sure what “Igbo” means in your language (and I doubt if you know what it means, or even if it has any meaning at all in your language); but it is a living word till date in the Yoruba language.

God forbid that Mr. Sunday Adeyemo (aka Sunday Igboho) should think like one of your people lest he runs away from the frontline while disguised in blouse & wrapper.

To educate you on the word “igbo” which is a Yoruba word, its meanings are as follows for the relevant tones:

(1) igbó (M-H): bush, sacred-grove, forest, marijuana, etc.

(2) ìgbò (L-L): headbutt

(3) ìgbó (L-H): the name of a vegetable.

In the light of this background, you may want redirect whatever was going on in your mind to ponder if the word “igbo” was borrowed after all from the Yorubas to name your people.

Oh, I forgot to mention that “Igboho” is the name of an Oyo town which at some point in the 1500s was the capital of the Oyo Kingdom.

CultureRe: Are Haitian Descendants Of The Igbos? by Ideadoctor(m):
It is obvious you cannot fond any source to prove that Toussaint Louverture was a Igbo, but thanks to me, this same traced his history to Benin republic which I had supported all along.

' Louverture's family tradition name is grandfather as Gaou Guinou, a son of the king if Allada( Dahomey, not Igbo).

source; Toussaint Louverture: a biography and autobiography. Boston: James Redpath.

Concerning Jean Jacques Dessalines, his ancestry was unknown, according to Wikipedia:

" The identity ofJean Jacques parents, as well as his region ancestral origin in Africa are not known, but most slaves trafficked to Haiti came from west and central west Africa "

From the above quote, it is deduced that Jean Jacques Dessalines ancestral origin is unknown, so how come he is Igbo? where was your source of information.

Henri Christophe origin is disputed, his origin is torn between Bambara ethnic group or igbo , according to Wikipedia.

'Christophe was a former slave of bambara ethnicity in west Africa, and perhaps of Igbo descent'.

It is deducted from the above that Christophe ethnicity is unsure and disputed, which makes it wrong to say he is Igbo, in fact the claim of bambara origin is more plausible, than the Igbo origin, this Is' evidenced in the direct phrase that links Christophe to bambara ethnicity, and link Igbo with " perhaps".

In conclusion, Igbos never led any slave rebellion, but Yorubas do and inspired others to rebel too'.

Now, here is one of the prominent slave rebellion in Brazilian history, The Male slave rebellion led by Yoruba people in Brazil.

Below is pieces of information concerning the rebellion.

' The male revolt, also known as the great revolt was a Muslim slaves rebellion in Brazil, on a Sunday during Ramadan in January 1835 in the city of Salvador da Bahia, a group of enslaved African Muslims and freedmen, inspired by Muslim teachers, rose up against the government.
Muslims are called Male in Bahia at this time, from Yoruba imale that designated a Yoruba Muslim.'

was Toussaint L'overture the only leader of the rebellion? more over, I never argued that there is no presence of Igbo descendants, but that they are not the only one, in fact greater number of Haitian population had Fon ancestry, and the Fons shares ancestry with Yoruba people, this obvious in the heavy impact of the Yoruba-Fon religious structure of Haiti which birthed the popular vodun religion.

But Yoruba presence more obvious in Haitian politics and religion, the Haitian revolution was actually started by a Yoruba man bookman, who encouraged the slaves with the presence of Ogun, Yoruba god of war.
Today, Ogun is one of the prominent national deity of Haiti.

Well Igbo's are not the more concentrated African tribe at Haiti but the Fon people of Benin republic who share ancestry with the Yoruba people.

The Haitian religion is called Voodoo, the etymology from the Fon word which means ' spirits'.

His life without Arore had been sour, he found no comfort, only the loyalty and comfort of Legun kept him going, the most painful thing to him was that he never knew where Arore body was talkless of burying her.

He was still in his thought when Legun who had been to market to get foodstuffs arrived.

Legun had seen his master from a distance, he shook his head in pity, Maku had changed, Arore really changed him, her life and death changed Maku personality, he Legun would ever be grateful to her, forever he would not forget her.

He greeted Maku.

Legunsad dropping the basket) Ekule your Majesty,( he stretched) your Majesty, you should have come to the market today and see people, Aro refugees every where, dirty from hair to toe( he folded his arms pathetically) in fact I pity them.

Makusad he broke from his thought when he heard about the Aro refugees) How much are they?

Legun: I don't know, I believe there are other Aros outside the market, than those inside the markets.

Makusad he faced away) Oduaye would hunt them here, he would come to ibiru, he would fish and slaughter them.

He was still talking when Deolu who had been inside overhearing the conversation came out.

Deolusad coming out of the hut) and that is more reason, we have to go home and inform father about everything, about the misinformation and about Oduaye treachery, Aros do not deserve this fate, we all know this, please brother, the border would be free now, we can make it to Oyo, I beg you.

Makusad he shook his head slowly) No, we will leave this place to Usi, we are not going to Oyo, Oduaye would march against this land tomorrow( he faced Deolu) and when Oduaye makes it here, not only the Aros would taste of his blade, but some bystanders too, let prepare to move.

Deolusad frustrated) but why brother, why? why are you avoiding Oyo? why do you want this people to suffer? please talk to me.

Maku stood up and headed for the hut.

Ayeni had traveled in the astral dimension, now he is back at Aro, he is now in his fetish room.
He stopped and collected a an object wrapped in red cotton from a black pot, he began to untie the cotton as he recites incantation ).
The bush rat speaks to the earth and the earth hearkens
Wherever the wind goes so does the smoke follows.
He had finished unwrapping as he brought out an antelope horn, he stared at the charm and spoke.
I have eaten the leave of ajese
let every thing I say come to past
It is the drum that dictate to the dancer what to dance
let my enemies dance to my tunes
a child does not know how to refuse Honey
let no one refuse what I say
no one can tell a dog in heat to stop being a wh0re, until the call of nature is answered
let no one stop my command and my wish.

He struck the horn against his palm and pour out some black content out of the horn into his palm, he licked it three times as he spittle them out again.

He had finished, he collected some other charms, cowries and amulets including waist charms for agility, he picked a large vest laced with Charms, cowries and leather, he put it on and wore his agbada on top of it, he is done with the preparation

He head out of the hut as the sun rose gingerly from the east.

CHAPTER 21

Maku sat under the palm tree as he enjoyed the fresh morning breeze, this had been his habit, whenever he wakes up, he head towards the palm tree for meditation and reflection.
He would reflect on his past life, of his days of promiscuity, his misdeeds and of the short moments he shared with Arore, he would flash back on those romantic moments with her, he remembered her witty smiles and words, her ego and her lovingness.

He sighed as he wipe away years gathering at his eyes.

You really make sense. But do you know that, there are some chapters in the Quaran that mentioned Ishmael, Abraham, Moses etc. Wat is ur take about dix
indeed, that is true, and that was because, Muhammad had came across the Christian Bible and the Jewish Torah, remember, Muhammad was a caravan trader who had many times traveled across mecca to Palestine and other places, most especially Christian territories( because then Roman empire was the dominant Christian empire) Muhammad has met with some Christians monks, through whom the knowledge of the gospel had been passed through to him, this was actually what led to his reflection at the cave of Hira where he encountered the angel Gabriel, according to the Qur'an.

But the fact is that he had interacted with some Christians, whom had shared with him the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Actually, He is a Catholic, and He is very learned. But am jox confused now
my advice to you is to go do your research,
but if you can't, you can comprehend this logic.

Jesus in his lifetime never made mention of Muhammad, nor did he mentioned Islam, why? because there was nothing like Islam, there was only Judaism. If Islam had been around, then he would have condemned Islam too just as he had condemned Judaism, take this instance, when the adulterer was brought to Jesus for judgement, they had the permission and the right to stone her according to the law of Moses, but Jesus condemned the act and set the woman free, the same thing is applicable with Islam so Jesus would have mention Islam in condemnation, but he never did, because he doesn't know it and he had never heard of it.

Take a look at Muhammad, he mentioned Jesus several times in The Qur'an, in fact he tries to make people believe that Jesus had prophecy about him( Muhammad), the point is that Muhammad would not have known Jesus if he Muhammad had come first, but the fact that he knows Jesus but Jesus doesn't know him proves that Jesus came before Muhammad, there fore Christianity came before Islam.

Just the way you may have heard about your great grandfather but your great grandfather has never heard of you.

I hope the logic helped Sir.

Then he is not been honest, tell him to prove it.

Maybe your lecturer is a Muslim, so he is been sentimental, after all , accepting Christianity as a older religion to him may be like accepting Christianity as the authentic religion.

In order for you to be convinced and not confused, go do your own research, then subject your data to logic and discover the Truth.

Christianity and Islam which 1 is the oldest
Christianity began after the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the faith spread rapidly like wildfire when emperor Constantine of the western Roman empire became a Christian.

Islam as religion started with the acclaimed revelation to prophet Muhammad, in which he received the word of Allah ( Al Qur'an).
This was 700 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

so to answer you question.

Christianity is the older religion

Thank you for opening your mind dear brother.

Firstly,I would like to ask that, why do think she is a wrong wife?

is she violent and insulting?
is she adulterous?
is she not capable domestically, may be she does not know how to cook?
is she avoiding her matrimonial duties such as sexual intercourse?

There maybe a lot of reason why you claim she is a wrong wife, but the truth is that as a Christian, divorce is never a option, you learn to understand and to cope, learn to communicate.

If a marriage as gone sour and you never enjoy any aspect of it again, then you need to consider the following options.

(1) Try to leave apart for sometimes, so that you both would not continue irritating each other, which may lead to violence or death.
(2) During the period of living apart, you should pray and try to reflect where the marriage had gone wrong, your wife would not start irritating you for no reason, try to find the reason and try to amend on your part.

(3) learn to be patient. Be matured in the way you react to your wife, be considerate, be sensitive, trying to understand her perspective and try to respect her opinions even though you won't accept them.

(4) call the attention of the pastors and church elders to it if any of the above point did not work.

But hear this brother:

DIVORCE IS NEVER ACCEPTED

You only need to cope, and you should also know that every woman likewise men are not perfect, understand that women are like fire that keeps you warm but in the process they emit irritating smoke, a woman come to her husband with two things, her beauty and her faults, enjoy her beauty and endure her faults, that is what makes a man a man.

please if you are not satisfied, or you still got something to say, don't hesitate to mention me.

bless you Sir.
