I would use a stick to push it aside, and walk into the house, smiling and shaking my head about how stupid the person who placed the silly contraption on my doorstep must think I am. Later, I would pour some fuel over it nonchalantly and burn it. I'd avoid inhaling the fumes.

Why not use your hands? your using a stick show you fear the band of feathers and palm fronds.
