Nollywood actress, Chika Ike has disclosed why she does not have a child yet.

According to her, the only reason why she is yet to have a child is because she is still very young.

In her words: “I am still very young even though the impression people have is that I am old. My manager once told me ‘Chika, slow down; you are still a young girl’ so I am still young in some sense. The Director General of National Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhii, has declared that the agency had been on the look-out for Cameroonian artiste, Dencia on account of her controversial body cream, Whitenicious, which has been described as highly cancerous.

Dr. Orhii made this pronouncement at the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Convention, held last Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at the Grand Ballroom of the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to Orhii, “There is this Cameroonian singer that has been going around with a cream…if I get her, she will be arrested.”
Whitenicious, which has been described as a pigment-whitening cream targeted toward individuals, who might be looking to lighten their complexion, skin tone, has stirred a lot of controversy both in local and international media.

Earlier this year, in February, during an interview with Ebony Magazine, Dencia admitted the bleaching ability of her cream when asked about the product’s potency and why people buy it. Her words: “Ok. Will Whitenicious bleach your skin if you use it on all your skin? Yes, it will.”
But, Dencia was quick to add that; complete over hauling of dark skin was not the aim of bringing up the product for sale.

“Are we selling Whitenicous for that purpose? No, we are not. Whitenicous comes in 30 ml and 60ml. You cannot use the 60 ml to bleach your whole skin. It’s impossible. And that costs about $150 each”, she said adding that, “60 ml cannot even go on your whole feet. I don’t see anybody spending all that money to bleach their entire skin. I don’t see that happening. Now, do I have customers who come and buy stuff for over $2000? Yes, I do. Do I ask them what they want to do with it? No, I don’t. Do I know what they want to do with it? No, I don’t care because it’s their money; it’s how they want to spend it.”
