• Assist guests with luggage and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby and entrance areas
• Must be polite, friendly, and service-oriented

🔹 Laundry Attendants
• Handle washing, drying, ironing, and folding of guest and hotel linens
• Ensure high hygiene standards and proper laundry care
• Experience in a hotel laundry or commercial setting is preferred

🔹 Chef
• Must be skilled in preparing both local and continental dishes
• Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards
• Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is required

These are all seen as morally and ethically wrong, and as Christians, we are inclined to judge them as such, grounded in our convictions. But if we’re honest, even our religious pursuits are often fueled by a similar desire for personal gain. Many of us devote ourselves to pious living, attend church, and engage in acts of service, motivated by the hope of heavenly reward. Though we aren’t harming others directly, are we truly motivated by love for God, or are we primarily thinking of what we will gain in eternity?

Across every scenario—whether it’s the violent acts of extremists, the exploitation in politics, the destruction caused by drug lords, or even the personal quests for spiritual rewards—the root is the same: personal or group interest. Each is driven by “What’s in it for me?” The outward expressions vary, but at the core, it’s a pursuit of self-benefit.

In this light, no one can claim moral superiority. We are all inclined to act in self-interest. But is this what God desires? Or does He call us to a love that moves beyond personal gain, a faith that serves Him out of devotion rather than reward? The question we face is whether we are living as God intended or if we have allowed our faith to become another avenue for fulfilling self-centered desires.
