SportsTop 5 Best Current Football Players Who Wear Number 9 Jersey by IdotG(op): 5:09am On May 31, 2020
Unlike other numbers, a #9 typifies a striker’s role. The e product. The finisher, the punisher. The one who puts t final piece in the jigsaw puzzle of an attack and also one w can take the team forward with their pace, dribblin physicality, and lethal finishing.

Some players like Ronaldo Nazario, Filippo Inzaghi, Fernan Torres, Robbie Fowler and Alan Shearer are among illustrious few who made the number the striker’s grade wi their contemporary counterparts the following suit.

But unlike others, the #9 is more of people who a considered out-and-out finishers of the attack but with t creativity and work-rate of modern footballers. Today we look at the current top #9s in the world based on their reality and virtual ( FIFA 20) characteristics and qualities.

1. Robert Lewandowski

Among these few gentlemen, Poland and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski is becoming one of the best number 9s in Europe if not in the history of the game. Recently, he has been in a rollicking form. In the Champions League group match encounter against Red Star Belgrade, the Polish striker smashed 4 goals in just 14 minutes and 31 seconds. Such insane displays are nothing new for Lewandowski, who smashed 4 six years ago against Real Madrid. Meanwhile, in 2015 at Bundesliga in 2015, he plundered 5 goals in 9 minutes against Vlf Wolfsburg.

After scoring 4 goals the other night, Lewandowski also became the club’s all-time scorer in the tournament – the same record he holds with Borussia Dortmund as well – and the fastest player in tournament’s history to do.

For the club and country this year, Lewandowski has scored 51 goals in 53 games – 10 goals from 7 games in the Champions League. According to the statistics of Daily Mail, Lewandowski’s goal-scoring run leads to a goal approximately in every 57 minutes.

Interestingly, this stellar run is about seven minutes quicker than Messi’s best ever La Liga and Europe season in 2012-13 where he scored 46 goals in 32 appearances. Barcelona won the La Liga title with historical 100 points with the Argentine proving a prolific best. Ronaldo, on the other hand, had best minutes-to-goal campaign in 2013-14, where he scored every 73.6 minutes for Real Madrid. These feats have now been beaten by Lewandowski with 24 Bundesliga matches remaining.

Robert Lewandowski:

—25 goals in 20 games this season

—Top scorer in 2019/20 Champions League

—Fifth player to score 60 UCL goals

—Bayern’s all-time leading goalscorer in the Champions League

2. Luis Suarez

One of the best strikers in the world and considered by ma to be the best #9 at the moment, there is no doubt that L Suarez is striking royalty. The forward has perform brilliantly in a stellar career for club and country winni multiple honours including the Copa America with his natio He also recently scored his 400th career league goal t season.

Suarez went under the radar last season with underwhelming 21 goals in LaLiga and also struggled to g going in the Champions League which was attributed as o of the reasons for Barcelona’s inability to get their hands the trophy.

This year though Suarez has started strongly proving people why he’s considered by many to be the world’s be striker. In the absence of Lionel Messi, Suarez has l Barcelona’s charge with four goals in six LaLiga games with total of six in eight games across all competitions.

Suarez is proficient in assisting other players as he is scoring. His consistent scoring rate for Barcelona have oft been soothing for Lionel Messi who nowadays takes a bacseat from looking to always score (despite still scoring 35- goals a season) to laying off for his Uruguayan amigo ap nicknamed “El Pistolero.

SportsTop 5 Right Back In The World In 2020 by IdotG(op): 4:43am On May 31, 2020
From the Premier League to the Bundesliga and French Ligue 1, the business of the top 5 best right-backs in a niche one indeed.

Across the different leagues, we’ve been entertained by some of the best in the industry. Whether it’s the more modern style of attacking down the flanks or a conservative way of defending, no two are alike.

So, we’ve taken a look at the best right-backs for you to peruse, including the latest statistics, information, and predictions for the seasons ahead.

And while we’ve got you here, why not take a look at

the best left-backs in 2020

1. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Right-backs aren’t supposed to be this important to reigning European champions and Premier League leaders. Yet so much of what makes Liverpool such a force is the displays of their talismanic Scouse defender.

Alexander-Arnold is only 21-years-old, but is already one of Europe’s most consistently excellent performers. His 12 league assists this campaign are bettered only by City's creator-in-chief Kevin De Bruyne, while his vision and passing range aren’t far behind the gifted Belgian either.

There’s almost a cockiness to Alexander-Arnold’s play; 60-yard passes are regularly pinged, with laser beam precision, from his supposedly weaker left foot. This confidence was in full display in last season’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Barcelona, when his cheeky corner took everyone except Divock Origi by surprise. It was a moment of genius, and a goal which will go down as an all-time great Champions League moment.

Murmurings of a move into midfield, a la Kimmich, won’t die down anytime soon, with fans keen to see him get on the ball as much as possible, but as things stand Liverpool have an incredible weapon from wide.

There’s a great deal of talk about England’s enviable youth pool, with players such as Jadon Sancho and Phil Foden expected to light up major tournaments in years to come, Trent might just be the best of the lot.

2. Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich)

Kimmich’s idols growing up were Zinedine Zidane, Bastian Schweinsteiger and… Tomas Rosicky.

Alright, he doesn’t always play on the right side of defence, often being deployed in a holding midfield role instead. But it’s at right-back that Joshua Kimmich made his name, and it’s at right-back that he often still plays. So, how to describe him? Well, first there’s his aggression. This is evident in his style of play, but also in the way he screams orders at his teammates and reprimands them when they make mistakes. But he also possesses fantastic technical qualities – there are few better crossers in world football right now, to give one example.

Having spent much of his youth career at VfB Stuttgart, he moved to RB Leipzig at the age of 18. After two highly successful seasons in their first team, Pep Guardiola and Bayern Munich swooped for the defender in 2015. Kimmich recalls how Guardiola travelled to Leipzig himself to convince him to join the Bavarians, praising his qualities and telling him ‘I want you on this team’.

It was at Bayern that he made the move from centre-back to right-back, and has since won a host of domestic titles. He made his international debut at Euro 2016 and has already amassed 48 caps for Germany despite being only 24. The sky’s the limit for this man, who has been the perfect replacement for Philip Lahm at both club and international level. Indeed, there are a number of parallels between the two, not least that both are capable of playing in defensive midfield as well as right-back. You can find betting tips on Kimmich and the rest of the Bundesliga here

3. Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Manchester United)

After spending two seasons with the Crystal Palace first team, Manchester United were seemingly so convinced by

Aaron Wan-Bissaka 's abilities that they sanctioned his purchase for a sum of £50 million.

The 22-year-old has been earmarked as a future superstar and fans of the Red Devils will hope he can nail down a permanent spot in the right-back role for the foreseeable future, with the club having not had a specialist in that position since the departure of Gary Neville almost a decade ago.

The former Eagles defender has been criticized for his lack of output going forward, with his delivery and end-product leaving a lot to be desired, thereby contributing to the lack of bite in United's attack.

However, for what Wan-Bissaka lacks in creativity, he more than makes up in defensive solidity and he also currently ranks as one of the best tacklers in the world.

4. Kyle Walker (Manchester City)

SportsHistory Of First Nigerian National Team Playing With Barefoot On First Match by IdotG(op): 9:45pm On May 28, 2020
The Elder Dempster ship, MV Apapa, arrived at the Liverpool docks at 8.30am on Monday, August 29, 1949. On board were eighteen Nigerian football players, Captain Donald.H.Holley {Chairman of the Nigerian Football Association} and his wife. The players were in the United Kingdom to play nine goodwill matches against English amateur clubs. The purpose of this tour was to test the strength of Nigerian talent against good quality opposition.

Thirteen of the eighteen players were from the Lagos and District League, two from the Western Provinces, two from the Eastern Provinces and one from the Northern Provinces. The players were selected not just for their football skills but also because they were deemed the best candidates to represent the colonial Nigerian Football Association in the Home Nation.

The tour had the blessings and backing of the Nigerian Governor-General John Macpherson. He sent a letter to the English Football Association a few months before the trip to thank the Association for permitting the players to tour the United Kingdom.

It was the players’ first sea voyage and they feared they would be sea sick on the two week journey from Lagos to Liverpool. None was sick. They kept fit for the tour by running several times around the ship’s deck every morning and evening. Below in the ship’s cargo were Nigerian food items {rice, palm oil, dried shrimps, yam, ham, mutton, and red pepper} to sustain the players while they were in the United Kingdom.

As they got off the ship, D.H. Holley was given a telegram. It read “ His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh sends to the team his very best wishes and hopes they will have an enjoyable visit.”

The Nigerian team was welcomed by Andrew Ralston, the representative of the English Football Association, and John Finch, an ex-Fulham player, who would be the players’ trainer and coach during the tour. There were also several press and radio reporters waiting to interview the players and Holley. Etim Henshaw, the team’s captain, said in one of these interviews that “We travelled third class but we were treated as first class passengers by everyone on board.” Holley and his wife, Dorothy, had travelled first class

SportsTop 10 Best Strikers In The World In 2020 by IdotG(op): 10:45am On May 28, 2020
There are many skilled strikers gracing the football world in 2020, scoring week-in-and-week-out for their teams. Give them even an inch on goal, then you’ll better be prepared for the consequences.

Be it the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A or the Bundesliga, there are quality forwards everywhere.

But who exactly is the best of the bunch? After all, the key hallmark of any star attacker is not how he scores a goal, but being able to do so consistently. It makes a decision on this one even trickier.

So, using 90Min’s rankings, we give you the latest list of Top 10 strikers in world football today.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus)

Ronaldo is still deployed from the left on occasion, but in recent years he’s morphed from wide forward to central striker. The Portugal international doesn’t get as involved in the build-up play as he once did, but he remains incredibly productive in front of goal, having scored 34 times in his 57 appearances for Juventus.

The 34-year-old is also on course to set a new international goals record, with Ronaldo now just 10 behind Ali Daei’s 109 for Iran. Don’t bet against him doing that and winning the Champions League with a third club before next year’s out.

2. Robert Lewandowski

The 31-year-old remains one of the best strikers in the world right now, as he continues to demonstrate at Bayern Munich. Lewandowski has broken the 40-goal barrier in all competitions in each of the last three full seasons, and his touch, movement and link-up play are still outstanding.

He has been named the Polish Player of the Year a record six times. In 2015, The Guardian ranked him as the fifth-best footballer on the planet.

3. Kylian Mbappé

At the age of just 20, this lad has got the world at his feet and a honours list that would be the envy of the most seasoned pro. He arrived on the scene with a bang as part of a golden generation at Monaco where 27 goals in 60 games earned him a move to fellow Ligue 1 team PSG.

Mbappe starred in Russia last summer as France won the World Cup and, if anything, his lightning speed with and without the ball somewhat causes you to overlook the other aspects of his game, which are so strong. He can play anywhere across the front, scores with both feet and has incredible composure both in front of goal and when laying on chances to teammates.

If you were being critical you could say he’s only delivered consistently in France but make no doubt about it, this kid will fill the void left by Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo when they hang their boots up and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him become the most expensive player in history when he inevitably leaves PSG.

4. Harry Kane

If you like your hypercars over-the-top and amazing, then the Huayra Roadster BC is for you. We’ve reported on this car before. Now it’s officially here. Now, the new generation G-Class finally has the luxury to go with its looks, thanks to improvements to its powertrain, interior appointments, and overall day-to-day usability. We liked the new G so much we named the Mercedes G550 a 2019 Automobile All-Star. We like the G-Class even better with more power, and the G63 obliges thanks to its hand-built, AMG 4.0-liter V-8 with 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. Mercedes-AMG claims a 0-60 time of just 4.5 seconds, and just as importantly to some, the present generation G-Class is nearly as capable as its forbearers from an off-road standpoint

SportsTop 5 Footballers That Played For More Than One Countries by IdotG(op): 5:26pm On May 24, 2020
For many people, representing one's country and playing international football should be the pinnacle of a player's career, believing there ought to be great pride and honor in representing your country. However, there are a number of examples in which this does not appear to be the case. A player representing two or more countries over their career certainly seems at odds with such ideals, as it seems difficult to believe a player could have such passion and attachment to more than one nation.

Swapping national teams prior to the 1960s, when FIFA took the decision to implement far tighter restrictions, was not a particularly rare occurrence. Some of the greatest players of their day swapped national teams, sometimes more than once, as you will see. Even since the new rules have come in a player can still swap national teams providing they haven't played in a competitive fixture for their first national team.

1. Diego Costa

A modern day example of a player who has played for two national team, Diego Costa represented his native Brazil twice before making the controversial decision to switch his allegiances and play for Spain instead. Costa, a La Liga and Premier League winner who seems to have controversy follow him wherever he goes played for Brazil against Italy and Russia, but as the games were friendlies, FIFA granted him permission to switch national teams. There was some anticipation as Costa headed to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with Spain, but as it happened, both countries' tournaments ended in humiliation.

2. Alfredo Di Stefano

Di Stefano made the most of more relaxed rules.

Back in the old days when international rules were more relaxed, Real Madrid icon Di Stefano switched from his homeland Argentina, who he scored six in as many matches for, to Spain after gaining citizenship. He also had four caps for Colombia, but they were unofficial fixtures.

3. Luis Monti

SportsTop 5 Best Defender In Premier League As At 2020 by IdotG(op): 8:58am On May 24, 2020
Full Name: Virgil Van Dijk

Date of Birth: 8th of July, 1991

Nationality: Netherlands

Place of Birth: Breda, Netherlands

Playing position: Centre Back

Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk is the best defender in Premier League history, according to Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany.

The Reds have catapulted themselves into a 25-point lead at the top of the Premier League table with Van Dijk marshalling a backline that has conceded only 21 goals.

Van Dijk finished runner-up to Lionel Messi in the 2019 Ballon d’Or and was named PFA Players’ Player of the Year last season after winning the Champions League in his first full season at Liverpool.

MAILBOX: Integrity of football, Kyle Walker and Souness’ inevitable fury…

And despite only playing in the Premier League for six seasons, Kompany has claimed Van Dijk is the best defender the league has ever seen.

“I would bring it back to Virgil van Dijk,” Kompany told SPORF .

“It’s a weird one because he hasn’t been on the scene as long as these names we have mentioned: John Terry, Rio Ferdinand. These guys were there for a long time.

“But the signs he has showed in his last few years just make it so obvious that if he would have been at the top level before that he would have already gone further as well.

“From what I’ve seen in terms of having an impact on a team, and a defender is never about himself it’s about communication with other guys and how you make your team more solid.

“The Liverpool before van Dijk and the one after him, it’s a completely different setup and I’ll give him that one because of that.”

SportsTop 5 Fastest Goal In Premier League History by IdotG(op): 7:44am On May 24, 2020
Shane Long etched his name into Premier League history when he netted in less than eight seconds in Southampton's 1-1 draw with Watford on Tuesday.

It was the fastest goal that the division has ever seen, but there have been plenty of others who have come close to breaking this record before Long.

Here are the FIVE fastest goals in Premier League history.

5. Mark Viduka (11.90 Seconds vs Charlton, March 2001)

The year was 2001 and it was quite a successful season for Leeds United, who finished in the top 4 in the Premier League, but just narrowly missed the top 3, which would get them into Champions League qualifications. Still, their season was filled with some memorable moments, one of which stood out and is still standing out. We are talking about the goal against Charlton Athletic, which was produced by Mark Viduka who needed only 11.90s to do so. By no means, a hall of fame player, Mark “The Duke” Viduka was still and still is one of the rare Australian players who left a mark in the EPL.

An 11.90s goal, which even after 18 years still holds the no.5 spot sadly has no video posted online, however, with the Premier League officially making it one of the fastest goals in the league’s history we will believe it did happen.

4. Christian Eriksen (10.54 Seconds vs Man Utd, January 2018)

How will it feels when ever you call out the name of your best football club and what next you could see are wild open of people laughing or looking somehow due to the name you mention.

Let take a look at 10 clubs name with weird and funny names

1. Fk IGALO

FK Igalo is a Montenegrin football club based in Igalo, Herceg Novi municipality. The club was founded in 1929 and currently competes in the Montenegrin Second League.

How does the name sound? Just same name with ex Nigerian super star, I could remembered first time I came across this name I was so surprised also makes me laugh a lot seriously.

2. Deportivo Morón

he club was founded in 1947 under the name "Club Sportivo Morón". Three years later the club joined the AFA and began playing in Tercera de Ascenso, (now Primera B Metropolitana). In 1951 it changed the name to "Club Deportivo Morón", which has remained since.

Can you imagine? Deportivo slowpoke! It sounds very funny indeed. ‘Morón’ in Spanish actually means ‘hummock’. But in English… you already know what it means.

3. Cape-Coast Mysterious Dwarfs

Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs known also as Ebusua Dwarfs is a Ghanaian top-flight football club based in Cape Coast with a deep history of the game in the country.

The team was formed in 1939 and they are part of the Ghana Premier League and play their home matches at Cape Coast Sports Stadium which has become their recent home ground.

Much funny first time of seen the name my taught was is the club meant for dwarf people only? You’ll be surprised to know that no dwarf is in the team.

But one thing surprise me a lots what the reason to give a team such name.

4. Insurance Management Bears

Bears Football Club( Bears FC, officially known as

Insurance Management Bears FC or IM Bears FC for sponsorship reasons is a football club based in Nassau, Bahamas. Bears FC plays in BFA Senior League in Bahamas.

Sports6 Footballers Who Lied About Their Real Age by IdotG(op): 3:27pm On May 22, 2020
In the wake of the recent age-cheating scandal , here are 7 footballers who were confirmed to have altered their

1. Shiva N'zigou

In 2000, Shiva N'Zigou became the youngest goalscorer in the history of the AFrica Cup of Nations after he scored against Bafana Bafana for Gabon, but, in 2018, the truth came out.

Speaking to a Christian television channel, he publicly admitted he was five years older than he claimed to be, meaning that when he found the back of the net against South Africa, he was 21 years old and not 16.

Another high-profile case in Africa occurred in the Premier Soccer League, when it came out in 2016 that former Free State Stars defender Musa Magagula used his cousin's identity to have a career in Mzansi.

2. Tobie Mimboe

42-time capped Cameroon international was another famous example, he age-cheated more than once and was later dubbed as the Peter Pan of football.

At the 1996 African Cup of Nations, he would have been 31 had he used the same documents that he had used in South America which indicated he was born in 1964.

When he joined Gençlerbirliği after that tournament, his documents revealed him to be in his twenties (30 June 1974). At the 1998 African Cup of Nations, he gave the date of birth as 30 June 1970.

3. Ángel Cheme

Ángel Cheme didn’t just lie about this age but also did identity theft. The Ecuadorian footballer changed his name to Gonzalo Javier Chila Palma and used that name for most of his career.

He claimed that he was born on 9 December 1984, and that allowed him to play in youth competitions and age-restricted matches for three years. They later found that Gonzalo Chila was the real name of a player who was three years younger than he was. They had met when they both had trials at a local club, and Cheme stole his identity.

In December 2010, Cheme was accused by the real Gonzalo Chila, who later became an evangelical pastor. The Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) investigated the accusations and found out that Cheme was actually born in 1981. He was found guilty and suspended for one year.

4. Dele Ajiboye

SportsPremier League XI Of 2019/20 Without Players In The Current Top 6 by IdotG(op): 3:59am On May 22, 2020
As you may very well, or not, have noticed, the key words here are 'top six'. Yes, that means Arsenal and Tottenham are fair game for this best XI. But no, good lord no, don't expect them to be flooding the teamsheet.

If it were the 'Big Six', then we'd be seeing a Leicester-heavy lineup, so in order to branch it out and make it more interesting, this seems like the best route to take.

While it appears we're edging ever closer to the 2019/20

Premier League season resuming in supporter-less fashion, we've still been starved of English football for more than two months now and had plenty of time to reflect.

But just because there has been time to look back doesn't mean you'll agree. I'm sure there'll be some clamour for Bukayo Saka to get a nod along with a few other outside hopefuls, but this is the way it goes, I'm afraid.

GK - Nick Pope (Burnley)

Nick Pope has the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season. The Burnley goalkeeper has bounced back from sitting out a full Premier League season following his dislocated shoulder to establish himself once more as the No 1 for his club. But the talk now is that Pope should be Gareth Southgate's first choice for England at Euro 2020 too.

Southgate was at St James' Park on Saturday afternoon to witness Pope's latest clean sheet at Newcastle. That is four in five games now. There was nothing too dramatic but maybe that is how it should be for a goalkeeper. Meanwhile, the erratic performances of the man in possession of the shirt, Jordan Pickford, continue to attract headlines of the wrong kind.

The England manager was also at Goodison Park at the weekend to witness Pickford allow Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes' long-range drive to evade his dive. The Everton goalkeeper made some amends with a double save late on but that is typical of his up-and-down form. In contrast, Pope has been a picture of reliability for Burnley.

RB - George Baldock (Sheffield United)

Baldock was very impressive on his Premier League debut for the Blades. With 13/18 successful attacking third passes, there’s every indication that he will be central to Wilder’s plans this season.

CB - Chris Basham (Sheffield United)

Chris Basham story at sheffield United

Resolute and solid at the back, it is in attack that he really brings something unique to Wilder’s tactics. Basham will often surge up the pitch, occasionally even being the furthest forward.

Another string to the defender's bow is his ability to win more fouls than he concedes, winning four more fouls than he's conceded in the Premier League this season. No other Blade has a higher positive differential of fouls won than committed than Basham this season, in fact the only other outfield player to have won more fouls than conceded is Billy Sharp

CB - Gary Cahill (Crystal Palace

SportsTop 11 Youngest Footballers In Premier League History (pictures Below) by IdotG(op): 3:45am On May 22, 2020
It is always refreshing to see a fresh face taking to the field for the very first time. Balls looks at the youngest Premier League footballers. the teenagers who got their chance to shine under the bright lights of the Premier League.

1.James Vaughan

Age 16 years 270 days

Club Everton

When Everton teenager James Vaughan became the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history, the unavoidable comparisons were hurtling his way.

Aged just 16 years, 270 days when he scored against Crystal Palace in 2005, Vaughan had broken the marker set by James Milner, then at Leeds United, by 86 days.

But he had also sealed a new club record that had been set by another young gun who went by the name of Wayne Rooney and had left to join Manchester United for around £26 million the previous summer.

2.Mark Platts

Age 16years 264days

Club Sheffield Wednesday

In 1996, Mark Platts replaced none other than Chris Waddle for Wednesday on his senior debut. However, he was not quite the youngest player to ever feature for the club as that honour goes to Peter Fox who debuted for Sheffield Wednesday aged just fifteen.

Despite the hype surrounding Platts at an early age, he failed to break the first team. He had spells at Torquay United and Worksop Town after his time at Hillsborough.

If forums are to be believed then Platts is either working as a scaffolder, washing machine repairman or stockroom manager at Schuh. The mystery continues.

3.Jack Wilshere

Age 16 years 255 days

Club Arsenal

You know all about this one. When fit, cheeky chappy

Wilshere is a first-choice in both the Gunners and England's midfields, but a series of nagging injuries have prevented him from ever really having a sustained run in either side.

He is currently sidelined with a hairline crack to his left fibula.

4.Jack Robinson

SportsHistory Of Arsenal Football Club (in Full Details) by IdotG(op): 11:33pm On May 20, 2020
Arsenal History - IntroductionArsenal football club was originally founded as "Dial Square" in 1886 by workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, South-East London according to Arsenal FC history.

The history of Arsenal shows that soon after the "Dial Square" was founded they changed their name again to “Royal Arsenal”, and shortly after changed it again to "Woolwich Arsenal" in 1891.Woolwich Arsenal started playing in the Second Division of the English Football League in 1893, winning promotion into the top First Division in 1904.

Arsenal history points out that Woolwich Arsenal had a lot of financial troubles, mainly because of their geographic location in Woolwich making their attendances lower than any other club.

This eventually led to Woolwich Arsenal declaring bankruptcy.Henry Norris took over after bankruptcy with the intention of moving the club elsewhere.Relegated back to the Second Division soon after Henry Norris took over, Arsenal moved to their new home in Highbury, North London where a year later they dropped “Woolwich” from their name, and came to be known as simply Arsenal. As the English League administrators sought to reshape the league, Arsenal football club was invited to join the First Division once again at the expense of local rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal has stayed in the top English Soccer league ever since as Arsenal history shows.1925 is perhaps the year that Arsenal saw first success after appointing Huddersfield Town manager Herbert Chapman to management position in Arsenal.Herbert Chapman revolutionized the training methods for the club, as well as club tactics and gave them their first period of major success.

He signed their first real star players in Alex James and former top-scorer Cliff Bastin, giving the Arsenal soccer club the right players and tactics to dominate English football in the 1930s.Under Chapman, Arsenal won the FA Cup in 1929–30, and went on to win the First Division League title in 1930–31 and 1932–33.Chapman died suddenly and tragically of pneumonia in 1934.

Joe Shaw and George Allison from within the club were appointed to take the reigns of Arsenal ensuring the continued success of the club.Under the guidance of Joe Shaw and George Allison, Arsenal soccer team won three more league titles in 1933–34, 1934–35 and 1937–38, and one FA Cup in 1935–36.World War II was the reason for the professional soccer in England to be suspended bringing Arsenal's success to be put on hold

PoliticsThe Great Impact Of Covid19 On Econ Growth All Over The World by IdotG(op): 12:06am On May 20, 2020
With schools closed for hundreds of million students around the world, many have hoped that “edtech” can help keep children learning via internet, apps, and mobiles. A new database published by the EdTech Hub shows that though use of edtech products serving African countries has doubled in the last month, the total number of users is still very low, and most were viewers of one TV show. That, coupled with the fact that most firms come from just a few countries, suggests that edtech in Africa is far from maturity.

The number of COVID-19 confirmed cases has surpassed 4.8 million worldwide, with the death toll exceeding 319,000. However, there are positive signs that social-distancing measures are succeeding in curbing the spread--the daily growth of COVID-19 confirmed cases has slowed down in Europe and North America in the past few weeks (see chart 2). Around 37% of the confirmed cases have recovered.

A. We are now in a recession to be sure. The term is both wholly appropriate and grossly inadequate. Clearly we are “in recess,” a state of near-total suspension of our vocational affairs, waiting for the bell to call us back to work. But recessions are rarely self-induced as this is, not intentionally at least. We might consider this rather more akin to economic fasting. But as we starve off this dreaded illness by staying home, we also risk strangling healthy portions of our society.

The COVID-19 pandemic is now a truly global phenomenon with 2.6 billion people (a third of the world’s population) now living under some sort of lockdown quarantine. The short-term human and economic impact is undeniable as people stay home, offices and shops close, and production stalls. Once the risk to human life has reduced and steps are taken back toward a fully productive economy, it is worth spending some time envisaging what this 'new normal' might look like. China is offering us some visibility on what this might be. The level of uncertainty in the economy is currently at an all-time high with the trajectory of the recovery difficult to forecast.

Although there has been no global joined-up policy response, individual countries have taken major steps to try to cushion their people and economies through this difficult period. We look to the economic outlook and policy steps, but would advise against putting too much weight on a specific-point forecast until the future pathway becomes clearer.

In the real estate sector, we can see that the pandemic has accelerated some trends already in evidence, whereas other trends may reverse. For example, demand for online shopping has increased and will likely continue, while the ongoing trend for the densification of work and living space is now under scrutiny. Across sectors these trends differ and have varied implications for real estate demand.

We examine each sector to see what their future characteristics may look like. For our clients we continue to monitor the rapidly evolving situation and have compiled an assessment of the longer-term structural changes that may come out of the pandemic, as well as an economic update and some thoughts on what our 'new normal' might be. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are great but – in some respects – Alfrédo Di Stéfano, Bafétimbi Gomis and Radamel Falcao are greater, as UEFA.com discovers.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi’s ongoing battle to be the top goalscorer in European football remains perhaps the sport’s greatest drama of our age, but both need to raise their game considerably if they are to scoop the following European Champion Clubs’ Cup and UEFA Champions League records.

1.Fastest goals

SportsList Of The Best Football League In The World As At 2020 by IdotG(op): 3:49am On May 18, 2020
What are the best football leagues in the world? In recent years, several leagues, especially in Europe, has gained much audience and attention from fans and the media; but these leagues which feature the best footballers and

football clubs in the world have generated so much buzz that pundits have had a hard time deciding which of these leagues are the best football leagues in the world. Read on to find out if your favourite soccer league made our top-10 list.

Football or soccer, being one of the most followed sports in the world generates excitement and heightened emotions, especially international tournaments. During periods when the international football scene no longer features any action, football fans turn to football leagues in various countries.

Our ranking of the best soccer leagues in the world is based on TV views/popularity, presence of top players, social media buzz generated from league games and the success of clubs from these leagues in various continental tournaments. Without further ado, let’s jump right into the count down.

10. Major League Soccer

This league is to be ranked 10 as the enthusiasm and love for the football the United Nation has progressed themselves to engage in this sport. Since 2013 MLS has tried to give their best shots and strides forward with their players. It was established in 1994 and has improved itself from day one. The parity in the league was at an all-time high with close to 14 teams in the hunt for the 10 MLS Cup Playoffs spots in the final weeks.

Some success was not grabbing their hands and they had to be at the bottom as they had no wins in continental with their five different teams in CONCACAF Champions League. Although one downer is the fact that top players from Europe use MLS as their last destination to end their careers.

All the League requires much of players, team, and Squad strength and stamina with much wealth spend by the officials that are how they become Best Football Leagues.

9. Brasileirão – Brazil

Brazil has always been one of the most dominant forces when it comes to football. Its national team is the most successful squad at FIFA World Cup tournaments and the only one to have won 5 World Cup titles.

Recent venues built for the 2014 World Cup dramatically improved the quality of the games both for spectators and players.

This is the home of Jogo Bonito which translates to Good Football, and as such, you can expect to see awesome skills and great goals being displayed on a weekly basis.

The League is not very tactical, however, since there are a lot of games to be played (across many different competitions), Brazilian teams don’t have enough time for proper training and to improve their overall game tactics. They depend mostly on the creative talents of one or two outstanding players to see them through.

Players in Brasilerao do not seem interested in playing in the local league for very long- as soon as the crowds start to chant their names in the stands they get on the next available flight to Europe. That has not helped the quality of play in Brasileirao.

8. Dutch Eredivisie

At the European domestic level, this league has prepared its two roaring lions to keep the mouth shut of the opponents. Ajax and PSV are two powerhouses who most often than not compete for the title. The league is not only famous for winning 4 titles in 5 years but its most red cards in the game are also in their fame.

This league has been the provider of the best young players to European football. So many great players learned their trade here you talk about Ronaldo (Brazilian), Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Bergkamp, Van Persie, Huntelaar, Luis Suarez, and Arjan Robben to name just a few. They were to be picked clean in the era of Cruyff, Gullit and Van Basten. They lack does comes when they have no hold on to their talented players due to financial assistance.

7. Chinese Super League:

The CSL has been able to attract a lot of viewers. The lowest attendees cannot be compared to the highest attendees such as Italy.

6. Primeira Liga

Their products have been exported worldwide and have been the star in several major wars. In this article, I will document the top 10 weapons which are used by the French military based on their technology, quality and success in conflicts. I won’t be going deep into the technical aspects of any of these systems and this article is meant as a guide to some of the best weapons made and used by the French.

10. Crotale (Mobile SAM system)

The Crotale is one of the most successful SAM design ever built. This air defense system still evolves and remains in production for more than 40 years. A wide range of its variants have been built. It is in service with 15 countries.

The Crotale is a point defense system, designed to protect high value targets, such as airfields, military bases, ammunition depots, and so on. The original design aim of the Crotale was to engage supersonic low-flying aircraft.

Note :

Only 2 countries in the world have developed a self-propelled, self-contained SAM system capable of firing radar guided missiles, France and Russia. The Crotale is a short range SAM system which can be mounted on a tracked chassis or on a 6×6,8×8 wheeled vehicle. This mobility, combined with 8 containerized missiles, a search and tracking radar, provide the French forces with an easy to deploy and powerful air defense capability.

9. SCALP Cruise Missile

The Storm Shadow / SCALP is a long-range, air-launched, stand-off attack missile designed and developed by France-based MBDA Systems. The missile was developed primarily for the UK and French armed forces. It is derived from the MBDA Systems’ Apache anti-runway missile.

The missile is intended to strike high-valued stationary assets such as airbases, radar installations, communications hubs and port facilities. The Storm Shadow is capable of engaging the targets precisely in any weather conditions during day and night. The long range and low attitude combined with subsonic speed make the Storm Shadow a stealthy missile.

The Storm Shadow is also in service with the air forces of Italy, Greece, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is referred to as Black Shaheen in the UAE Air Force service.

The Storm Shadow can be integrated into Tornado GR4, Tornado IDS, Saab Gripen, Mirage 2000, Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft.

SportsTop 5 Best Wrestle Mania Matches In History by IdotG(op): 10:11pm On May 16, 2020
WrestleMania is known as the grandest stage in all of Sports Entertainment. The pinnacle of a wrestler’s career is to main event WrestleMania and have their own part to play in WWE history.

It has been a feature of the WWE for well over 30 years, providing fans from around the world with countless memories.

Let’s reminisce on some of the best matches at the ‘Showcase of Immortals’ of them all as Sporf takes a look at the top 5 ‘Mania matches of all time.

5. WM 17: EDGE & CHRISTIAN VS. THE DUDLEY BOYZ V THE HARDY BOYZ

Alot of you may be wondering "what the hell are you thinking leaving this match off of the Top 5?", but I'm one of those people that think this is a poor man's version of their previous effort together, the Triangular Ladder Match at Wrestlemania 2000. This match, even with the added spice of Lita with a thong, basically was just a re-hashed version of the WM 2000 match. Don't get me wrong, I love this match, just because it involves the Hardyz, Dudleyz and E and C for the Tag Straps and lots and lots of tables, ladders and chairs, but didn't the same exact thing occur on a bigger stage, in front of a larger audience, for the very first time just 4 months prior?

Even the Jeff Hardy Swanton Bomb through Bubba Ray the 2nd time around wasn't as thrill-inducing as the first one at WM 2000.

Armageddon 2006 Fatal 4 Way Ladder Match Tag Team Titles: Paul London and Brian Kendrick (c) vs. Dave Taylor and William Regal vs. MNM vs. Hardy Boyz

This is one of those unheralded, very underrated matches because it was a match that occured with very little buildup, occurred at a very forgettable PPV and happened at a time when the tag team division was although not as bad as today, pretty forgettable.

What ended up happening was a gem of a match and the shattering of Joey Mercury's nose, which started a months-long feud between MNM and the Hardy Boyz.

One Night Stand 2007 Ladder Match Tag Team Titles: Hardy Boyz (c) vs. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin

Once again, an underrated Hardy Boyz because of the time period that it occurred in, and the fact that there wasn't much buildup to this match leading up to it.

This was a crazy match with alot of high spots due to added involvement of the athletic Shelton Benjamin. The Hardy Boyz would walk into and out of this match as the Tag Team champions.

4. WM 12: BRET HART V SHAWN MICHAELS

In the main event, Bret Hart lost the WWF World Heavyweight Championship to Shawn Michaels in a 60-minute Iron Man match. In his return to the company after a four-year hiatus, The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley . Roddy Piper had his first match since 1994, after which he left for WCW. Singer Vic Damone performed a rendition of "America the Beautiful" to open the show.

3. WM 22: MICK FOLEY V EDGE

CultureTop 10 Invention And Discovery Of Ancient Egypt Used Today by IdotG(op): 3:36am On May 15, 2020
The ancient Egyptian civilization can be traced back to approximately 3000 BC and it lasted until 30 BC when it became part of the Roman Empire. Its long duration shows that the civilization was provided with all necessities, such as a good natural environment including water, fish, fertile soil and plants, but also with rich architecture as seen in the

pyramids which required the use of accurate measurements and mathematics, and durable materials. When we speak about Egypt, many things could come to mind: the beauty of Cleopatra , or maybe the glorious mask of Tutankhamun. Some of you may also think about the pictorial writing system known as hieroglyphics, which were found carved and written on many different surfaces such as papyrus, stone, and wood. So as you can see, for many years, the ancient Egyptians thrived. Let’s have a look at some of the main ancient Egyptian inventions that people are most curious about:

10. Mathematics

The introduction of writing in Egypt in the predynastic period (c. 3000 BCE) brought with it the formation of a special class of literate professionals, the scribes . By virtue of their writing skills, the scribes took on all the duties of a civil service: record keeping, tax accounting, the management of public works (building projects and the like), even the prosecution of war through overseeing military supplies and payrolls. Young men enrolled in scribal schools to learn the essentials of the trade, which included not only reading and writing but also the basics of mathematics.

In history books, the Greeks often take the credit for inventing mathematics. They were skilled in mathematics and astronomy, but the truth is, they learned it from the Egyptians. The main difference is that Egyptian geometry and arithmetic were primarily used for practical applications: measurements, business transactions, how to construct pyramids, and cut rocks. Mathematics was not seen as a theoretical science.

In Egyptian schools, the curriculum included sports but for those intending to pursue further education, the emphasis was placed on writing (to train the character) and mathematics. It is thought that the Egyptians introduced the earliest basic numeration system of 10 numbers as early as 2700 BC and maybe even before. The oldest mathematical text from ancient Egypt is the Moscow Papyrus, discovered around 2000 BC. The ancient Greeks later developed and improved upon what the Egyptians had invented.

9. Calendar and Clock

The Egyptians divide time into three main periods: the inundation season (akhet), which lasted for one-third of the year; the sowing and progression of the crops (perit); and the produce (shemu). These three seasons each one consisted of 120 time and completed up one calendar year. To sign the inauguration of every year, they chose the rising of the afflict Star, detectable to the naked eye. After a number of time, it became evident that the calendar was short, but the jump of the civil day coincided with the opening of the agricultural year.

The Egyptians were together with the elementary to allot their time into parts. Obelisks – slender, four-sided monuments – were second-hand as sun clocks from 3500 BC and their pathetic darkness enabled inhabitants to break free the day into parts, initial at noon. shortly on, they make-believe the to begin with portable shadow meter which was consequently unimportant that population may well have available it with them. A pole was noticeable with 12 sections and a shadow of the fishing rod would report you pardon? time it was. In addition, account and chronological credentials were kept back of all king’s reign.

8. Government

The government of ancient Egypt was a theocratic monarchy as the king ruled by a mandate from the gods, initially was seen as an intermediary between human beings and the divine, and was supposed to represent the gods' will through the laws passed and policies approved. A central government in Egypt is evident by c. 3150 BCE when King

Narmer unified the country, but some form of government existed prior to this date. The Scorpion Kings of the Predynastic Period in Egypt (c. 6000-3150 BCE) obviously had a form of monarchial government, but exactly how it operated is not known.

Egyptologists of the 19th century CE divided the country's history into periods in order to clarify and manage their field of study. Periods in which there was a strong central government are called 'kingdoms' while those in which there was disunity or no central government are called 'intermediate periods.' In examining Egyptian history one needs to understand that these are modern designations; the ancient Egyptians did not recognize any demarcations between time periods by these terms. Scribes of the Middle Kingdom of Egypt (c. 2040-1782 BCE) might look back on the time of the First Intermediate Period (2181-2040 BCE) as a "time of woe" but the period had no official name.

If asked to name some of the best in recent years, the likes of Ian Wright, Alan Shearer, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, and Thierry Henry will spring to mind, and rightly so.

5. Steven Gerrard - 33 goals

A Liverpool legend and one of the most iconic players of modern football history. He was unlucky to never win the Premier League but is one of the best midfielders the league has ever had.

Just like Chelsea's Lampard, Gerrard redefined the midfield role led the Reds from the front, scoring tonnes of goals from midfield.

He loved hardshots and was also a dead-ball specialist.

4.Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink

Goals from outside the box: 33

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink had an almost predatory instinct for finding goals during his time at Leeds United , Chelsea and Middlesbrough. Coupled with the unbelievable power of his shot, this made the Dutchman a formidable foe in front of goal, no matter where he found himself on the pitch.

One of Hasselbaink's finest goals from distance came in a Chelsea victory over Spurs. The striker picked up the ball on the right-hand side of the pitch, beat two defenders before curling an absolute peach of a strike into the far corner from the edge of the area. A beautifully-crafted strike from one of the Premier League's most legendary marksmen.

3. Alan Shearer - 33 goals
