Don't ever try to drop your passport grin wait till your USA embassy interview unless it's not urgent, then you can reschedule your US interview and submit your passport to Canada embassy. You have up to one month to submit your passport. If I were you, I will shift my U.S interview and drop passport for Canada stamp.
Thank you.

I have not traded in a while on MC. My colleague just informed me that they have increased the commission from .25% to .50%. Was this communicated to all?

If we do this simple exercise we will discover that the prices of most of the stocks are not out of place:

1. What was the price of First Bank/Diamond/Access Bank etc when foreign investors left? -please use May/June 2015
2. Divide the price by 220 (N220/$1)
3. Multiple the answer in 2 above by 380 (N380/$1)

Using FBN for instance, the price was N9.00 as at June 4, 2015. That was $0.04 at the time. As at today, $0.04 is N15.2
Using Access Bank price which was N6.02 as at June 4, 2015. That was $0.028 and today that is N10.65

What is happening is a typical re-pricing and only fair that the share price of these stocks go up. I know there are other variables that determine share price and this is not a projection in any way. I only wish foreign investors that left would come back and buy at a more fair value which will be good for the locals.

Thanks in advance.
They are going to present FACTS behind their figures. Some companies do this from time to time. It is an opportunity for the Traders on the floor to ask questions and they can in turn advice their clients on the Stock

32 k is the annualized EPs
Divide that by 4 and you get 8
You are very correct. Please check page 29 of the financials (note 19)

Good Afternoon,
I renewed my visa via the dropbox already. We plan to take my Mother (not so fluent with English) with us for our vacation. Do we need to follow her into the interview or an interpreter would be provided for her? I am the one paying for her to join us for the trip.
Thank you, always!

It is better to buy zenith at N12.5 and earn N1.5k dividend than buy GTBank at N16.5 and earn same dividend bracket. This is the reason why Zenith price will appreciate (in terms of percentage) better than GTBank.

Another Stock to watch closely is Access Bank. Their share price should not be less than half the price of Zenith.

All the best.

My thoughts on FCMB:

1. By end of this month, FCMB will release their 1st Quarter result which most likely wont be a bad one (remember that the anticipated bad result is for 2015 year end).

2. What some investors are doing is called Positioning. That is, buying now at N0.68k (and some are praying it will crash further to sub N0.60k) not because they are buying to get dividend but only buying against the future -half year (which is in 4 months time)

3. By half year, EPS (earning per share) would be in the range of 50k and the price would move to about N1.30k which is almost 100% return for the investors that would enter after now.

Note, the Bank will not die, its a going concern. They have a challenge with bad loans and they'll take the provision and move on.

Ask yourself, those that would wait for 6 months and make 100% or more, are they really 'stupid'?

This is not a 'buy' recommendation in any way. I just wanted to add my voice to the on-going discourse.

Thank you

Did you have to wait for a mail from the VAC.
I have however received a mail that my passport is in transit
Yes. However, if you don't get a mail from them after 5 days just go to their office (remember the mail said 3-5 days)

Good please what's he usual duration from the visa centre in Sheffield to VAc in Lagos. Received a mail that a decision has been made but on the Vac portal it still shows that the application has been dispatched to the visa centre.
Mine was like that as well (mail received on Saturday, 3rd October) but status changed this afternoon. I just returned from their office in VI with my package. All the best.
