400 birds is not much , I started with 2,500 birds I knew nothing, was just careful with the birds health.

From the pictures, they are not flying on top of the drinker and feeder to sit and poop. That's nice. That's one thing that used to get on my nerve when I was raising Noilers. Once they get to 2-3 weeks, they become super active, and start flying on top of any elevated spot they see, and pooping there.

We aren't immune from this problem boss. How do we prevent it, please?

Hope you bought a good lasota and administered the correct dosage to those birds.

We got the dosage right, but we can never be too sure of the activeness of the medication.

Am not an expert .
—Remove that newspaper and Buy and apply saw dust from any timber near you .
Buy stove to heat them at night and early morning before sun set , if you don’t have electricity .
—-Morning water should be vitamins ( any recommended one from the veterinary will do).

—-You need to have disinfecting point to place beneath your shoes before entering to avoid infections because they’re still tender.
—Change water regularly and wash their drinkers with morning fresh not detergent.
—- adequate space to avoid congestion.
This is want I learnt from a veterinary Doctor when I was into this kind of stuff.
Lastly , engage a specific qualified veterinary Doctor who can come to visit your farm and advice you in case of any circumstances that arise.

Quickly take a close observation of the Temperature of the farm. I strongly suspect that the heat is not good enough.

If the birds sleep in clusters or perching on each other for warmth at night or earliest morning, then the problem is from low temperature. If they sleep one, one here & there, then the temperature is okay

Cold temperature probably wasn't the problem. Maybe the ventilation.

Probably the makers. Kuroiler was said to be developed in India, and the other in Nigeria.

I’ll like to see how sand turns out. Poultry farming was our family business for over 8 yrs but where our farm was located that’s my village had crisis and we lost so much and we haven’t been able to recover but we’ll rise again sha by God’s grace.

Lasota vaccination starts the 7th day, and I would suggest furacare/bhoxygen for the antibiotics. And I'll also suggest embazine forte for the anti cocci

We followed this. We used embazine and it sure was effective. Thanks for sharing this insight with us.

God bless your Hussle, there death is probably caused by lack of heating system is your cage. Always provide constant heat till they are four weeks old.

You need to have an isolation cage ready, it will help in dealing with any contagious diseases.

We have some cages in our backyard....we take anyone feeling unwell home. Thanks for the input.

stop giving them all these lasota and whatever, the only best medicine that works for these birds is amoxiline. it is what i always give my birds and no loses or regrets. only give them their own medicine of eating food. but for their health, amoxiline does the job better than any medicine

I will advice you to use wood shavings...I found out saw dust will lead to CRD. They have poor nostrils and can get blocked by the small particles easily, which can Lead to difficulties in respiration.

Did you validate the chlorine concentration in the water so as to know the quantity of milk to use?

We gave them vitamins before, and as soon as we have LaSota, they started dying in numbers the next day. And we were advised to take everything away from them. A vet some medications like that, and it's greatly improved since then.

Yes we did, 200 dosage/litre of water.

We didnt do the last. And I wasn't even keen about the milk thingy. It was the guy managing it that insisted we add that.
