You have done well broda...
Can you buy Layers too... so it can produce lot of eggs for selling and consumption...

God bless your business

We will definitely be adding that, God's willing. Egg seems to have the widest poultry market. But we would love to move this to a decent point before that. Thanks for the advice.

Sorry for this... We have actually developed some herbal products that will enable you grow these birds without the use of vaccination and synthetic drugs. I will be giving you some for free if you are intrested and mortality will stop immediately.

These birds like the ISA brown will be highly susceptible to Newcastle and Gumboro, unfortunately there are no known drugs that handles these except for vaccines. But have developed herbal formulation to help out that's highly effective.

Congratulations on your new venture sir.

Buy why Kuroiler?

1. Cost of day old chicks. We want to be able to hatch our fertile eggs and hopefully, expand the business.

2. Ability to free-range: we know the cost of feed isn't coming down anytime soon and we want to be big. It will be easier to feed them just once in a day and let them survive on their own afterwards. That's even beneficial for the health of our customers that will turn them into pepper soup. Grass-fed chickens are dope.

3. If done right, the local fowls can be productive, Kuroiler is a step above them in terms of productivity. And we believe are miles ahead of the broilers when it comes to the ability to survive.

Oga, these are genetically modified birds. They are more susceptible to diseases.

They thrive best in a controlled environment.

How true is the notion that they survive better and are stronger than Broilers? They shocked me the first few days of their arrival oo. Looking settled now...we thank God.

Sometimes I wonder why all the drugs and injections on livestock. Local feeds enjoy their free range and do not get vaccinated or receive drugs. Nature works for them.

Can we not just find better spaces sometimes, alllow livestock to exercise and see the effect on their health?

That's the plan bro. But as a starter, seeing your birds die can be unsettling. No more vaccines. And hopefully, no more inorganic medications. And we will be free-ranging them once we get to our farmland. Those are the reasons that inspired Kuroiler farming in the first place.

I would have loved to do the Fulani chickens and hatch our own eggs. But less than 100 eggs in a year doesn't sound too viable, at least, for us. With Kuroilers, getting an average of 100/120 eggs will be beautiful.

You better use sawdust. With lactobacillus serum, you can control the smell.

What are the disadvantages to using sand?

This farm up guy on YouTube has very deep litters. And he plans not to change them. I hope to replicate that.

If you have access to rice husk or wood shaving, it will be better than sand. These materials are light and easier to clear.

Na the expense deh give me headache o. And I think sand absorbs their poos better. I don't plan to clean for at least six months. I hope to have enough sand. Like two truckloads.

Start making use of rice husk or wood shaving as litter. imagine the amount of paper you have wasted. I have pullets currently at week 2, i switch to rice husk when they were 10 old.

Yes boss. We have indeed wasted papers . We'll be taking them to a bigger facility soon and we hope to use sand as our litter. I hope that's okay.

Be not wise in your own eyes. Fear GOD and Depart from evil so it will be well with you, here on Earth and in Eternity.

The way you guys dishonour the prophets is baffling. Those are blessed people of God. They are believers prior to Jesus' arrival. And there place in paradise isn't even debatable.

P.s they need no Jesus to get to God. They were way older than both Joseph and Mary (may peace be upon them).

There is no wrong way to obey God Almighty

Ooni should have gone to make peace with the wife of his youth , his first legally married wife, instead of multiplying women in the name of Solution.

It does not Matter who you are, your title, your pocket or whatever! When you go against God Word, you will reap the consequences in full.

There are ways lasota is administered and also gumboro..

How many dose did you give to them?

Don't administer lasota when the weather is hot so I advise early morning or late evening

Addasachet milk to the mix up for easy absorption...

By the way for a first time farmer 400 birds is much for you ...
Success anyways !!!

Decided to do 400 cos I felt it would be a waste of time raising small amount for 4/5 months. Guess I have been greedy. But this isn't the first time sha. Raised broilers and cockerel at a time and they did really well.

They are getting better. Still one or two mortalities. We started losing them in numbers after the vaccine. No death today but there were two yesterday.

Attached is the mortality record.

The lasota vaccine was too early. You could have administer it at day 21 or 28. What dosage did you administer?

200 in one litre or so. I will have to ask. We followed the vaccination plans nio.

Wow! I never was into using any vaccination on my Noilers back when I was into chicken business, so I don't know much about Lasota. I hope you get help soon.

Thank you. We went to a popular vet pharmacy in Ilorin today. They said we gave the LaSota when they were too weak to receive one. They said something about their organs turning brown. They prescribed some medications. We can only hope it works. Thanks for your concern.
