ayodeji752: I'l congratulate both those who are shortlisted and those dat are nt shortlisted.i'v said it dat dis year's admissn wil be d toughest in ui history.d reason y am congratulatin thos dat are nt shortlisted is dat it wil be easier 4 dem to 4get abt d admissn dan those dat are shortlisted but wil nt make d final list after tellin friends and family dat they are going to ui.UI is a veri idiotic schl with wot they just did.let me tell u hw d joy of most of d shortlisted candidates wil be cut short and i'll use d college of medicine as an xample cos it is d one dat i'm veri familiar with.dis year,in Biochemistry department ui shortlisted 224 candidates to write post utme which i'm very sure ui wont admit more dan 70 after d post utme.in Dentistry department,ui shortlisted 111 of which they wil neva admit more dan 40.in human nutrition department,ui shortlisted 99names but wil neva admit above 35.in almighty medicine department,ui shortlisted an amazin 397 names of which ui can neva admit anytin abov 110 after d post utme.98 names were shortlisted for nursing science but ui can neva admit more dan 35 candidates etc.where will others dat wont score very high marks go?ui wont want to knw.dat is wot wil happen in dis year's admissn and dats y i said i'l congratulate those dat are nt shortlisted cos it wil be a disgrace for sum1 to be shortlisted but nt make it to d final list after tellin all d members of his or her family.like i always say,dis year's admissn wil be d survival of d fittest.wot ui is doing is dat they want to select candidates with very high mark in d post utme 4 d admissn.my advise to those dat are shortlisted is nt to tel anybody dat they hav been shortlisted yet cos ui wants to disgrace as many applicants as they can tru dis year's admissn.make sure u dont tel anybody until u score abt at least 80 for medicine and abt 75 for other courses in d post utme.make sure u read like mad man 4 ur post utme.dont rejoice yet cos dis is just d beginnin.for those dat are nt shortlisted take dis;IF U MUST ASPIRE TO ACQUIRE WHAT U DESIRE,THEN DONT RETIRE,COS ALL U NEED TO DO IS TO REFIRE.next year will be gud for sure

@Ayodeji752, how did they calculate the CUT-OFF points this time around. It is different from how they calculated it in the past. I am sure it is not only UTME that was use because aspirants without the stipulated scores in UTME on Merit, Locality & ELDS were still shortlisted. So the question is what did they use? Please reply.

@IFE WISE and OTHERS, Pls a friend needs the help of this HOUSE. HE WANTS TO STUDY MEDICINE IN U.I WITH A UTME SCORE OF 267. HERE IS HIS WAEC RESULTS ;     "MATHS": A1, "AGRIC SCIENCE": B2, "ENGLISH": C5, "BIOLOGY"; C4, "CHEMISTRY":C4, "PHYSICS":C4. HE WANTS TO KNOW IF HE CAN SELECT "AGRIC SCIENCE" INSTEAD OF ANY OF "Physics", "Chemistry", "Biology". Since AGRIC SCIENCE IS ALSO A SCIENCE COUSE. NB: IF HE SELECTS "AGRIC SCIENCE" HIS WAEC SCORE WILL BE (38) INSTEAD OF (34) AND HIS AGGREGATE SCORE WILL BE (64.7) INSTEAD OF (60.7). AND HE WILL HAVE A GOOD CHANCE TO STUDY MEDICINE SINCE HE IS FROM KWARA STATE AN EDUCATIONALLY LESS DEVELOPED STATE(ELDS). Pls House he needs your advice urgently, so dat he can know what to do.
