Hi Good day everyone. I'm a first time applicant to the UK even though I've been to other countries. I applied for a visa on the 17th of July for a program I was to attend on the 8th of September(almost 2 months). The Eco called my sponsor on the 5th but I'm yet to get a decision as at date. My question is sd I retrieve my passport for other things or I sd still chill as I heard that I cd still get the visa even though the event date has passed. |

@ojap @slimmy @profojah and all Pls i have been rescheduled for an interview next week in Lagos after the delay in abuja d oda tym. I stated aw d interview went buh dont think I got satisfactory enof answers after my bashing @warriboy. Please I want u guys to help critically analyse the interview and offer constructive criticism so i can bring my A Game next week by God's grace. Heres d previous interview: I went to the embassy for interview for a student visa. All my documents were intact except for my bank statement which had a letter incorrectly misspelt (stg like Adewale instead of Adewole) who was supposed to be my sponsor/uncle. My experience at the Abuja embassy: Oyinbo: so ure going to Saint Joseph university in Philadelphia usa? Me: yeah Oyinbo: how did you find out abt d schl Me: was looking for schools that offered the course online when u stumbled on the school alongside other schools of which this seemed the most suitable. Oyinbo: whos sponsoring you Me: my uncle Oyinbo: can I see his bank statement? Me: yes please(hands it over) Oyinbo: (looks intently then asks) your uncle...is he your blood relative? Me: yes sir Oyinbo: types ...looks at statement ...hands it over and says hes sorry he can't grant me the visa. Now my qstn. Did I answer any of the questions wrongly or was it just the bank statement error? and I need advice on better comportment and composure cos I intend applying again with a corrected bank statement cos shool resumes august. Btw...happy birthday to meah today |

Politics / Re: 2015 Presidential Elections :: The Dilemma Of The Average Nigerian by ifecttt(m): 7:37pm On Jan 11, 2015 |
In my opinion tho...I believe the Nigerian youth is now enlightened and we all know for sure that at least we need a change. Id like to paint a scenario tho... Ure in d heart of a desert... If u stay there ud die eventually...if u walk north u myt either walk deeper into the desert or walk to safety...what's ur pick? I know for one tho that GEJ has failed as all the sections where he placed more emphasis in his budjet are suffering: Education Health Security...ati bee be lo My guy...let's not chicken out in fear of the unknown...our parents have actually failed us in timidity overtime and me for one am not going to wait till the time when Id also tell my children Nigeria has failed while i sat and watched because I was scared of the unknown. Before I close this tho, if ur basis for fear is actually d fact that Buhari was a military whatever transforming to a Democratic wahever, Id like to point to u that OBJ was one also and I stand to be corrected that no matter aw bad he was, he's is still the best Democratic govt Nigeria has ever had. And our non transforming forever democratic Jona's 6 years tenure is noin to write home abt. GEJ has failed and its even visible to d blind. I really honestly don't see how an agent of change would think him to go on for another four years tho because..." we fear the unknown" Pls pardon any typos tho... 8 Likes |

Hi pls young blaze, mavinc4u and mynd44. Pls I sent my transcript to two destinations(Texas and newyork) through registered post since Aug 4. It got processed in the new York centre and has not updated any movement of the sort since then. I actually read that registered letters don't get lost in transit but its already like 3 weeks or more. I need to know how long it would take or if I'm supposed to be worried . also need to know if there's anyone k can call or disturb because the delivery of the letter soonest is necessary for my admission. Pls I won't mind a quick reply from u guys. Thanks
