Romance / Re: If Your Boyfriend Moves To USA Without Green Card, Just Move On by ifedapsy(m): 12:06pm On Dec 20, 2018
EVILFOREST:
GREEN CARD hard oooo
The FASTEST route is MARRIAGE.
But the marriage must be to a reasonable and understanding man or woman.
Avoid Black Americans oooo
They may dump you before your Green Card interview
White Americans can also dump you. Honestly, it boils down one's destiny. If you are destined to be in the US, everything will eventually work out for you even though the beginning might be rough.
If otherwise, one would keep moving in circles with no headway even when one's contemporaries are succeeding in the States

What about a Registered Nurse?
Do you have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing?

It's better to make an arrange marriage with a white woman than black American akata lady. Please what's your take?
To the best of my knowledge, most Naija guys that got married to white ladies did so under the pretext of "real marriage". These ladies think the union is for real. Hardly will you find a white lady who marries a Naija guy for pecuniary reasons.
As regards, African Americans, I can boldly affirm that the educational and socio-economic status of these citizens matter when you are considering them for arranged marriage. There is greater likelihood of success if the African American lady is well educated and has a good job as opposed to a crack head who is a perpetual public charge.
The well educated Akata girls don't come cheap though. You may have to pay through your butt to get through the whole green card process.

Hello good people,
How long do i have to wait before the school I applied to get back to me after all admission criteria and requirements have been met and submitted? I applied to Western Illinois Uni..
Did you apply for Spring 2016? If yes, send Angie Veith (the International admission officer) a mail. She'll reply as soon as possible. I'm very sure about that.

Guys, u can get PTA @ Stanbic bank @ 208.04/$1. This is subject to having an account with them though. All you need is to go to their branch with your international passport with valid visa, Air ticket and admission letter. Just thought I should share the information.
Diamond Bank offers a better rate-200/$1. However, you'll be charged 2% of the dollars you collect as PTA. For example, $4k attracts an extra charge of $80. Abeg, mk Una do d Maths wella .

Is it possible to still get this PTA, if just opened an account with them?
I honestly don't think so. Most of these banks have stopped PTA and the few that do, attach stringent conditions like having 3-6 months old active accounts with them before PTA can be granted.

Bros, excellent preparation and God's favor is all you need to nick the visa. A friend of mine ran to Abuja US consulate after he was denied at Lagos. D guy was denied twice in Abj before he retraced his steps back to Lag where he was eventually granted d elusive visa. My guy initially thought maybe na ancestral curse dey pursue am across Nigeria. Simply do your homework and leave the rest to God.Location is highly inconsequential.

Pls House, I need lists of universities in usa with masters program in chemical pathology, or immunology or biomedical sciences. (Schools with guaranteed Assistantship).
Thanks in anticipation
Bro, you might need to hit Google to get all the required info about the aforementioned courses. Landing a GA is a function of your performance in standardized tests like TOEFL and GRE. High scores brighten your chances of getting a GA position.

How do you guys handle noise making sexually hyperactive neighbors who screams like they are having sex in a burning furnace. I've stylishly told this guy that he usually gives me sleepless nights. He laughed about it and apologized, but he still continues. You know houses here are made of wood, the guy doesn't just allow me sleep. The girl screams like his bf is having her womb out.
I don't want to report to landlord.
Just find a babe and show those guys that no one has the monopoly of screaming. Abeg, give them the Naija version. Next time, they will behave.

I'm sorry for just posting my transcript. Been down with post-interview fever (strange, isn't it?).
The interview:
Me: How's it going?

V.O: Good. I can see you're heading to Texas State University to study Human Nutrition.

Me: Yes.

V.O: Why TSU?

Me: I settled for TSU after conducting an extensive research on the internet using usnews.com and princetonreview.com. I got in touch with some of the Professors in the department and was particularly fascinated by the publications of Dr. B.J. Friedman, Head of Integrated Metabolism and Physiology Lab. After exchanging mails with him, I became convinced that the school is the right place for me. (all d above na this thread-inspired lies grin)

V.OsadNods in acknowledgement). Which school did you graduate from?

Me: LAUTECH

V.O: What course?

Me: Biochemistry

V.O: Which year?

Me: 2011, Nov. 18 to be precise.

V.O: Good. (She stares at the screen and types). Who is your sponsor?

Me: My Dad

V.O: What does he do for a living?

Me: He's a maritime consultant to Nigeria Ports Authority and he also owns a firm that's into Haulage (Transport n Logistics).. Another lie again. Jesus, you just av to forgive me.

V.O: What does your mother do?

Me: I never prepared for this type of question but as a street-groomed guy, I had to come up with something. "She runs a chain of eateries in Lagos", I answered.

V.O: Visa approved. You'll need blah..blah blah

On hearing the verdict, I started perambulating on the same spot like a zombie. I just couldn't find the exit door for about a minute.

My Maximum Twale to: Imperiouxx, GboyegaD, BigFrancis, Walspring, MsNas, Slimmy05, Zeezahbee et al. I've gained a lot from all your posts on this thread.

In a nutshell, to fellows who av been denied on one attempt or more, please do not give up. I nicked mine at the 3rd attempt. And for those with upcoming interviews, it's yours already.

The real battle has just begun....
